I scanned the business card he gave me and attached it to the review…read more Have you ever had the experience of trying to deal with a home network problem by going through your ISP, and, the vendor of whatever other networking equipment you are using? Each of them says that things look good on their end, and you need to contact the "other guy". How about trying to do that on the phone? You live in an area with poor cell signal, and the only way you can have a conversation is to utilize "wifi calling", except - you DON'T HAVE WIFI, so the call is breaking up and you can barely understand each other. The chance of getting a technician from your ISP to pay you a visit is about as likely as winning the lottery. I did a search on Yelp and Adam was the first - got another response from one other vendor who said they couldn't help me - to respond. He said he could come the next day, and it turns out he is located only 15 minutes from my house. I had done some remediation before his arrival and found out that my problem was not due to equipment, but a configuration decision that I had made that gradually disrupted my network (No, the customer is NOT always right). Adam explained everything that had happened, tweaked some settings, and made some suggestions about how I could optimize my setup. He is very knowledgeable about many networking, communication, and security issues. This will lead me to work with him in the future to improve the quality of our cell signal and do some rewiring to improve the performance of our home network. He also has expertise in other areas - it turns out he used to work for the company that services the entry gates into our community and is also extremely well-versed in network security issues. His hourly rate is entirely reasonable, IMHO. Finally, he is a REALLY nice guy. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I had saved some to usb but mostly not. Geeks saved everything! I've had these since 2013 and 2016 so you can imagine all the memories saved in that amount of time. One had a bad cpu and motherboard that had overheated. They saved the info on that one and moved it to the older computer which needed a new hard drive but was otherwise still very usable. Both are Acer Predators and at the time I bought them were top of the line. The repaired computer is so fast now. I'm so glad to have it back with all of my old data intact. Relieved. Geeks did all of this in one day! Any of my future repairs will go straight to them. They have a vast amount of knowledge and do so much more than simple but critical repairs. I also took them a new laptop that I wanted set up. It's a dream to use with no bloatware. This was same day service. These folks are very honest, keep you informed as the work is being done and there is no sticker shock at the end. Geeks rule!!

Finally we made a great decision and called Overhead Door domiciled in Greenville, S.C. The repairmen was an overall terrific guy. I don't even know where to begin so, I'm just gonna start here: A few days ago, Levi and his crew…read morefrom Tri State/Aurora Lux lighting installed Gemstone Lights on the 3 rear lower soffits of my home. The results? "UNBELIEVABLE"! Way better than I had anticipated. The product is outstanding.......literally millions of colors, patterns, scenes and options! BUT, the bigger deal is, the company itself. Levi and his crew treated my home like it was their own. I have never met a group of people who were more passionate and caring about the outcome of their product/installation as they were. Every company takes on the personality of the person at the top...... so to me, it is no wonder why the guys who were working with Levi were so good. The reason? Because Levi is so good! Levi disappeared for a little bit while his guys were prepping my home and running wires.......when he came back, he had more boxes of aluminum tracks with him. When I asked him why he needed more he said to me: I didn't like the shade of white so I went back and got tracks that match the white of your house better. Who does stuff like this? Levi does stuff like this! There are so many things about my install that blew me away. I thought I was getting one thing and as they were installing, they were brainstorming about how to make it look better and the best way to install it. They made 45 degree angles on the soffit ends and added extra lights on the sides (which I had no idea I was getting) because they wanted it to look perfect. I dare you to come to my house and find a wire from their installation. Don't bother because you won't. This is the cleanest install I have ever seen. My house is brand new and they didn't damage, scratch or mess up anything. Even the controller box in the attic looks great! When I was talking to the guys, they were telling me how much they love their job and that Levi is the best boss in the world.....a super stand up guy who treats them well and with respect. That tells me everything I need to know about the integrity of the man and his company. I almost forgot to mention........the company is veteran owned and Levi is a Marine! That means something to me. If you are looking for the best: STOP........YOU JUST FOUND IT!
