I came here with my bf 2-3 times and realized these massages don't do anything. We always get deep tissue as we lift weights at the gym and are always super sore but we got no relief from the deep tissue massages here. They use firm pressure but if you know massages you know firm pressure doesn't necessarily mean deep tissue. The therapists only follow a memorized routine. They don't really target muscles or feel for knots. The massages here are pretty useless for healing. Update: The owner decided to respond to my post and called me a liar because he couldn't find all the records of our visits. My bf has went 3 times and I went 2 times. The first massage my bf had by himself was great so he brought me later. The owner messaged me and told me the first person my bf got, only worked there for a brief time. Well that sucks because whoever that person was got my bf to go back but not anyone else! We had an okay massage the second time and the last time was the worst so we stopped going! No body is going to tell you your masseuses are JUST OKAY, they would just stop going back. Also to the comment about the generous tip, we always tip our masseuses regardless of whether we liked the massage or not. I know people from these cheaper Asian massage places don't make a lot and they work for very little or FREE. Our tips are their wages! Don't use the fact we tip generously against us. Again, if we don't like the massage, we try someone else then just do not go back after. I do not consider an establishment where if you just do a walk in, you can get paired up with a mediocre therapist, a 5 star establishment. The only place where my bf and I go consistently for good Thai massages are the Sparadise chains, La Brea and our favorite location is Sherman Oaks. They cost about the same and the majority of the therapists there are good, some are excellent. The only downside is they are super far away from the West side! read more

This was hands down one of the best Thai massages I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, the space felt calm and grounding. The therapist was incredibly intuitive -- the combination of stretching and pressure released tension I didn't even realize I was carrying. I left feeling lighter, aligned, and completely renewed. Hands down, probably one of the best massages I ever received in Los Angeles. First off, Ken is really precise and provides quick and prompt service information. I was able to get my appointment booked through text which is super convenient and Ken also sends you a reminder text to confirm your appointment prior to your appointment which is super helpful. Ken squeezed me in last-minute on Valentine's Day after expressing disappointment with another massage place. I did not expect to enjoy my experience as much as I did. As a corporate employee, I prefer enough pressure to practically break my back. When I spoke to Ken about this, he was not kidding when he says his place delivers exactly that. My masseuse, Paula, was AMAZING! She was able to work through knots that the place I went to less than 1 hour prior was unable to. I booked an 1.5 hour massage at the other place, but the 1 hour massage I booked at ON Thai felt longer and more effective than the prior place. Fantastic massage by Paula. Her movements were focused and intentional - no mindless slathering of oil or painful unskilled digging with elbows. She knew where my pain was and listened to exactly what my body told her it needed. I left feeling so much better than when I arrived. Ken provided excellent customer service and accommodated my last minute appointment request, even following up via text to let me know Paula's availability. I am constantly in pain--chronic lower and upper back pain, butt and hips pain, and jaw pain/headaches from TMJ. My masseuse, Paula, was absolutely INCREDIBLE. It was my first time, and yet, it felt like she knew my body better than me. The massage was different in style and structure from anything I've had, and it was completely tailored to my needs. I felt so many emotions and so much tension gradually melting out of my body. Her touch is gentle yet super firm, and everything about it feels intuitive. The receptionist was extremely kind. Not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly. She was amazing!!! It was the best massage I've had. In fact, I had been having issues with one of my legs for a few months after a wrong move (I didn't bring it up) and every night I would wake up to pain and kept having to toss from one side to the other. Gift was my massage therapist and she was great. So I'll start with saying I'm not a fan of massages where they stand on your back. It's totally on me for telling them what massage I wanted without asking clarifying questions. That said, even with that included, this is the most successful massage I think I've ever had. I had ongoing pain and muscle tension in between my shoulder blades and have gone to various other massage places, but I've never felt this relief. Paula really got every single knot out.
