They use firm pressure but if you know massages you know firm pressure doesn't necessarily mean deep tissue. The therapists only follow a memorized routine. They don't really target muscles or feel for knots. The massages here are pretty useless for healing. Update: The owner decided to respond to my post and called me a liar because he couldn't find all the records of our visits. My bf has went 3 times and I went 2 times. The first massage my bf had by himself was great so he brought me later. The owner messaged me and told me the first person my bf got, only worked there for a brief time. Well that sucks because whoever that person was got my bf to go back but not anyone else! We had an okay massage the second time and the last time was the worst so we stopped going! No body is going to tell you your masseuses are JUST OKAY, they would just stop going back. Also to the comment about the generous tip, we always tip our masseuses regardless of whether we liked the massage or not. I know people from these cheaper Asian massage places don't make a lot and they work for very little or FREE. Our tips are their wages! Don't use the fact we tip generously against us. Again, if we don't like the massage, we try someone else then just do not go back after. I do not consider an establishment where if you just do a walk in, you can get paired up with a mediocre therapist, a 5 star establishment. The only place where my bf and I go consistently for good Thai massages are the Sparadise chains, La Brea and our favorite location is Sherman Oaks. They cost about the same and the majority of the therapists there are good, some are excellent. The only downside is they are super far away from the West side!

After Emily argued with me back and forth for 10-15 minutes and makes me wait longer, she finally agrees to give the two hour deep tissue massage herself and says she is a licensed masseuse. While she is massaging me ~20 minutes, she leaves the room while I'm still laying there For 10-15 minutes. -when she finally returns, Emily says she can only do one hour, thereby reneging on the two hour commitment she made earlier and from last week when I booked the appointment for $150 2 hours (said also over the phone that it was $75.00 for 60 Minutes, and via text it's $120.00 for 90 minutes) -then she argues again, "what do you want from me..." What part of the two hour booking I made for $150 do they not understand? Well, I want the service I signed up for the week before over the phone, but my reinforcements of this point from the very beginning are all falling on deaf ears. - still, I would rather make amends despite the lousy service since I'm already on the table half way into the massage, half naked. - when she says she is finished, I get up and try to get dressed and check the timer. Finally, I get up from where I was sitting, waiting for her to get it together, I wave at her to let her know I'm going to my car to get my sunscreen since I'm allergic the sun. She angrily looks up and says angrily that I dont have to pay. Damn straight. At least she got one thing right. You know, people get massages for relaxation and to try to get away from the world's dysfunctions, not pay with money to get more of it. The owner reached out to me, but life is far to too short to go back and forth with these people who have made it clear that they do not give halfway decent service and will argue with you about it every inch of the way.
