You didn't put molding around the door to keep rain, wind and snow out. 3. You did not put the long rod across the inside of the garage door. It is a support rod to secure the aluminum door from buckling and ripping in half, WHICH THE DOOR DID! 4. I had to get a close friend of mine to come out and secure the garage door until you could come. As of TODAY, my garage door is not fix and it is getting worse. 5. The guy who answered the phone explained that the control board was bad and that they would not repair it, rather they suggested that I buy an new unit from them for about $600 dollars. Instead I called another more professional garage door repair company and all it took was about 20 minutes of work and they got the door working better then before it stopped. Cost was about $90. I would advise being careful when contacting East Side Garage Door for service; my experience was that rather then scheduling service they tried to upsell me a way too expensive solution to the rather simple problem.

I received a very aggressively priced quote and about a week later I had new gutters. Perfectly timed for this October and November Rain. I am relieved because water would seep in during bad rain storms and luckily it has been a drought. The prior owner of my house definitely did not look into having gutters done when he rehabbed the rest of the house. Must have run over budget. It was raining when I left for work this morning and I am thankful my foundation won't be getting more screwed up than it already is. Will probably reach out and get a new door soon since prior owner decided to pull his car too far into driveway and dented the garage door. Highly recommend CLE Door for home improvements.

They told us they would charge us $75 to look at the openers and tell us how much repairs would cost. Then when he came he pretended that it was $150. To top it off, one of the garage door openers that he said had a broken gear and needed replaced because the gear couldn't be replaced- was actually not getting any electricity due to a short. They were incredibly nice on the phone and I was so 'sold' by their customer service that I chose them over less expensive options. Then- they came out to install the door and said the springs were the wrong size and charged us $65 for the visit - when they didn't do anything but look at them and leave. Next, they said our springs were custom so it would be an additional $200. At first, I was ok with the custom spring charge b/c I figured that they were legitimately more expensive but I did take issue with the undisclosed $65 charge which they put on my CC without telling me. In the original quote the extremely nice person on the phone never said they'd charge $65 if the spring size was different. She never mentioned anything about that. I politely expressed that I was not happy about that charge and was never told about the possibility of the charge and the customer service went from nice to cold incredibly quick. I am usually a pretty good judge of character- so I was quite suprised by this. In the end, I called other companies and found that Barcol's extra charge for custom springs was extremely high (double others) and that none of the other companies charge for spring-measuring. It ended up being less expensive for me to be stuck paying the $65 (since they refused to refund it) and have another company install the door than to continue the job with them. This is clearly a book not to judge by the cover... don't even waste a minute on a phone call.

Compared to the other garage door company I was using, I prefer this place much more. The prices were reasonable and the staff was helpful and friendly. The employee they sent to my house got in and out in a decent amount of time without any procrastinating and I was happy with the results. I recommend looking into this small business.
