Igor of RBChome Locksmith is incredible!! My fiance and I just moved to Cleveland and purchased our first home together. I messaged Igor on Yelp a few days before we closed on our house to see if he would be able to come out to our house the day we got our keys so he could rekey our doors. He was super accommodating and told me to let him know when we were finally allowed in our house and he would come over. Fast forward to the day we closed, he stopped by at 4:30 pm and was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. He had to rekey 5 doors in total in an almost 100-year old house. Not an easy thing to do! He was at our home for about 3 hours working away and we were grateful for his service and for allowing us to feel safe in our new home right away. As new homeowners who just dropped a lot of money during closing, we were a little sticker shocked at the total cost, but he was well worth it and he put in a LOT of time and effort re-keying our doors...so we expected to pay a little over $300 anyways. We needed multiple locks rekeyed for the home we just bought, and Igor was able to come the same day and did a fantastic job for us. Ever get home from a long drive just to snap your only key off in the lock? It ain't great, but this is what I did: Step 1: Put handle of snow shovel through one of 12 lights in my door; Step 2: Accessed home; Step 3: Told 16 year old son to pick up glass; Step 4: Called neighbor for advise on replacing glass in the window; Step 5: Called Igor at RBChome Locksmith. 5 easy steps - with step #5 being the best and most important. I just had a terrific experience with RBChome Locksmith. I reached the locksmith (Igor) by phone and explained that I needed a key made for a lock on a Depression-era cabinet. He first had me send him a photo to confirm that he could do it. He told me right away he could come to the house after the weekend (I think that day was a Monday or Tuesday), or he could get to it sooner if I dropped off the lock at his home, which I did. He then called Thursday evening when the keys were done and I picked them up the next day. Both keys worked - but even more helpfully, Igor then spent another half hour texting with me after I found that the hook on the lock, once re-installed on the cabinet, would not stay engaged (so we could open the door even when locked) - though the problem was structural with the lock itself, no fault of Igor's work. He suggested a strategy for making it work, which we haven't tried yet but I appreciated his willingness (and creativity!) to do extra in support of his work. I am definitely keeping his name on file for the future! read more

If I could give Igor 10 stars I will. I purchased my car with only one key so I needed to have a duplicate key made to have a remote starter put on my car. I called Ford dealer and they told me approximately $500 for a spare key. I Lost my mind and hung up the phone. So I shopped around for a locksmith and I found Igor. He was at my house in less then 30 minutes. He qouted me over the phone for 95$ and that's exactly what he charged me no hidden fees. Easily a ten-star performance. Igor successfully removed a heavily oxidized and permanently jammed trailer hitch lock from my SUV, just in time for my move. Run far away!!! Prior to having this guy come out, I sent this guy a picture of my lock and key. After reviewing the photos he calls and told me that he is 99% sure that he can fix my lock. He tells me it's going to about $95. However when he gets to my house, instead of trying to fix the lock he wants to replace it. he tells me that's gonna be about $195. I then proceed to ask him where did $195 come from. He tells me $35 for coming out. I told him I can get a whole new deadbolt at Home Depot for less than $20 so you mean to tell me that you're charging me all this money for labor and it's not even after hours are you crazy ? I proceeded to kick him out my house. I was able to get someone else to came over and look at the lock who advised I didn't need a whole new lock and we could just replace the cylinder. Went to hardware store the cylinder that came with 2 new keys for less than eight dollars and the guy charge me less than $40 to install it. This Igor guy try to take advantage of me.I don't know if it's because I was a woman living alone or he just thought I was stuck on stupid but I would never ever do business with him again and I don't want anyone else taken advantage of. read more

I called and Igor came over in 20 minutes. This front door lock was made in 1914 and he realized that he needed to take it back to his shop. He came back in a few hours, put everything back in place after the repair and it works perfectly. I simply don't know how he could have done anything better on this job.
