The fries cooked in beef tallow are dangerously good, and the firestone-cooked pizzas are honestly some of the best around. Add a cold Ghost in the Machine on tap and it's the perfect combo. Their happy hour and daily specials are also awesome and make it easy to keep coming back. But what really makes this place special is the service, especially Tatiana. She always treats our family so well and genuinely makes us feel welcome. This place is much needed in the Katy/Cinco area. I stop by here often on my way home for the Beef Shwarama Wrap with Hummus and pita. It's mostly the only thing I order because it's always a solid clean meal I don't feel guilty about later, but is also packed with flavors. I usually sit at the bar for quick service and the best view for whatever game is on. The bartenders are always kind, attentive and friendly so I'm never worried about sitting there waiting. I almost always see Lizbeth behind the bar hustling and making sure everyone has great service and she has earned the 5 stars for this bar. We live in Katy proper, we use to go to Adriatic for the chicken Alfredo and sit with the amazing Gabi for hours at the bar, but she moved to "On the Kirb!!!"We were sad but not for long . We followed her to on the Kirb and I must say the staff including Emily, MJ and our very own GABI has definitely made a impact on us. On the Kirb is our place to go on Friday. I have been to OTK several times since they opened in September of 2022 and every time we have had impeccable food and great service! I can't say enough great things about a waitress we have had several times named Kiely. She is always so friendly, professional and very attuned to our table which seems to be a lost art these days! She goes above and beyond to make sure we are always taken taken care of and always has a smile on her face! We have tried many dishes on the menu and are never disappointed! We always start out with the brussel sprouts as they are incredible and a must try!! So glad to have found this place and will continue to visit often! read more

Our visit to this place was disappointing, especially for families with young children. They do not provide booster seats or high chairs, making it difficult to dine comfortably with a 20-month-old. Additionally, the menu, which appeared to have enticing vegetarian and vegan options, was misleading as some items labeled as vegetarian contained Parmesan cheese. Unfortunately, we had to leave shortly after receiving our food due to the lack of suitable seating options. It would greatly improve the experience if the establishment considered investing in high chairs or kid's chairs to accommodate families. Overall, not a family-friendly place. read more

Another great experience at On Kirb. Our waitress Anioha was outstanding and very pleasant. She checked on us multiple times. The manager Andres came out to speak to us to make sure everything was all right. in addition to the excellent environment and service, the food is always outstanding. I got the special dish with organic chicken and sauce and steamed broccoli and special rice which is outstanding and my friend Stephan got the fish tacos. We came from Florida to Richmond, TX to visit family and they brought us here - let me just say, it was amazing! We love the organic offerings and everything is so fresh and cooked to perfection. We tried the nachos (and added the ground beef), the caprese burger well done and the Kirby sunrise burger medium and my husband really enjoyed it! We also ordered the ny strip (cooked just right), cheese pizza for the kids, and the pasta with shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we even came back for a second visit. My first time coming to On the Kirb off 1093. Avery was our server this evening. She was a great server and made time to insure we had everything we needed with a delightful personality. Even though it was Tuesday Titos & Tacos night, we decided on the pizza, which was awesome. The atmosphere was perfect for conversation and watch a few different games. This location is new and did not disappoint. The atmosphere is fantastic and has tvs positioned all around the room so there is not a bad seat to watch a game. Food was amazing and the menu has a variety of items to fit any appetite. Tyler was our waiter and he was very professional, offered lots of advice on food and drinks.
