The bed of the Disney Wonder has got to be our favourite part of the room. Not only is it large and spacious, it is an actual full-sized bed with side tables attached. The beds are also oh oh oh so comfortable! If you have slept on one of Westin Hotel's sleep programme beds, you would completely understand what we mean. But for Disney Cruise to have such comfortable beds, it is both a joy and a boon. Why? Of course, you'll get to have a restful sleep each night. Always something to look forward to on a well-deserved holiday. However, you'll also probably run the risk of wanting to sleep in and miss all the wonderful programmes that Disney has in store for you! We had made a reservation with her a month ago and each time we tried to make a payment, she said the ticket hadn't been issued yet so no need to pay. That was the response we would or couldn't get her to call us back when we left a message. Found it very odd since usually after making a reservation you would have to pay within a few days. When we could finally track her down, 2 weeks before the departure day, she says that there are no tickets at the price we reserved a month ago but if we leave in 5 days she can get a ticket which of course cost more. She then had the audacity to say that she couldn't reserve the ticket because we were indecisive or couldn't get a hold of us when she called. I have not given one bad review here on yelp and am usually understanding but I can't let this one go. I will blog, facebook, tweet, and email anyone I know about this experience and make sure no one has to endure what we experienced with this liar.

Everything was very easy from booking all the way through the day of our trip. The folks on the phone were super helpful and friendly. Our driver, Alex (Alihan?), was a total rock star. He made us feel welcome and totally taken care of from moment one. He was attentive, funny, efficient and professional. He personally made sure every bit of our trip went smoothly: - He stocked, cleaned, and restocked the limo between stops - He always dropped us off and picked us up just at the right time and place - He knew where everything was, including sightseeing stops, the vineyards, and shortcuts - He takes phenomenal great photos, and takes the time to make sure they were posed and framed right - When he noticed someone in the group was walking around with a jacket or sunglasses, he would offer to take the things back to the limo to make our tour more comfortable; likewise, he offered to retrieve things from the limo if we needed them - He took the time to make sure the controls were working, and we knew how to use them. Instead of shouting back to us how to to something, he would pull over and come show us how to do something. - He also took care to make sure we had plenty of water at the end of our day. Just know what you're getting yourself into…read more We did this on a Sunday, tour company owner as guide** They arrived late, overbooked and made one couple not come on the tour after texting at 1030pm trying to get 4 to cancel, I guess they got 2. Anyway after they made one couple take a hike we piled in an 8 person van. You can't really see out of the windows and our guide just sort of talks to himself, only sometimes using the microphone (I preferred silence to his banter though). Van smells like a unkempt zoo. You drive around and listen to him and not see anything for about 1.5 hours, a couple stops though for pics. Then you get to the golden gate park area which is very nice, good spot for pics on the SF side. Then across the bridge, but again you cannot see anything cause the van is garbage. Other side of bridge again stop for pics, nice. Very windy road on the next stint, starting to be aggravating in the van. Now Muir Woods which was really cool but you only get 1 hour, I could have spent 3. He tell us to meet him there in 1 hour (1140 in this case) it's pouring by the end and he is late by 5 mins of us just standing in the rain. Now lunch stop on the way back, just pulls into a health food store and lets us out, we have no idea of if we are eating there or what, we are, kind of like a Whole Foods situation, no seating, many stand to eat. He is kind of mad at me because he was waiting outside but we had no idea he was even there lol. Back across the bridge, painted lady stuff and a stop on the top of a lookout point which was neat. At this point I am unable to get back into the van, it smells like a hamster cage in there and I have been nauseated for 2h. I Uber back. Zero stars should be a thing…read more If you read no more, read this: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! My best friend and I traveled to San Francisco as the first stop on our tour of California. We booked the city tour over a month in advance via Groupon (a company I've used for years). We didn't rent a car while staying in San Fran because the city is so accessible through public transportation. So, this tour was perfect because we were so excited to see the hot spots of San Francisco. The tour on the computer at Groupon.com and though I received email verification from Groupon, no communications were received from Left Coast tours. First red flag. Due to the fact that no customer to company direct communication, the initial meet up location and process was quite confusing. The address listed was 5th & Market Street. We arrived and didn't see any signage, groups waiting or anything that could confirm this was where we should be. And though we called while in route to the above location just to make sure we were heading to correct local we received no indication that we were heading in the wrong direction. Everything listed on the Groupon and the company website was contradictory so we called again to get clarification. We called at least 9 times with no answer. We walked to another address that as listed on Google, which was another hotel (not listed on the company website). At this point, it was 15 minutes beyond the time when the tour was to begin. To say we were frustrated would be an understatement. After half an hour we got ahold of the administer at the home base of Left Coast Tour office. He explained he would track down the driver and get back to us. He did not. We called. And called. And called. Only to be directed to another hotel which we needed to cab to. We obliged not wanted to waste an entire afternoon for nothing. When we arrived, still, no driver. The only man to answer the contact info listed said "he could not locate the driver", "this never happens" and "he's been calling him for 45 mins". What kind of tour company cannot find their tour driver, I asked? We were then given the DRIVER's number who we called at least 20 combined times between the both of us. Nothing. No answer whatsoever. This situation was handled extremely unprofessional and upset that my time and money was wasted. This company is a shame and left a bad taste in my mouth and was 100% not worth the frustration. Our fix: Go to the official visitor center and have them guide you to any of the many reputable sites and tours the city has to offer. They are open regular business hours and will help you for free. If they're closed, Union square has multiple companies running at all times from the bus port. Bottom line: LEFT COAST TOURS IS WASTE OF MONEY/TIME/ENERGY

It was easy to just pay in line via Apple Pay- they have Square! I guess this ferry is its own thing and doesn't take Clipper. We rode up top outside. It's a little wobbly as expected cuz it's a small ferry. As someone who gets seasick, it's not bad at all though plus it's only an 8 minute ride. So nice especially when the weather is nice out! There's also some indoor seating on the first level. $5 one way, $10 roundtrip! I followed the schedule online and things ran on time as expected. Would do it again!!

A new ferry service has started between the Ferry Terminal and Treasure Island. A couple of weeks…read moreago, I was walking out of the Ferry Building and out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a tiny boat labeled 'Treasure Island' bobbing on the water at Gate B, the northernmost port. When I read the service had just opened this past week, I decided to give it a try. It costs $5 one way, and although it look me a bit to find the right website, I bought a round trip ticket with my Apple Pay and showed the QR code to get onboard. I believe the boat can hold about fifty passengers, but there were only two other people on the boat. With the crew, we didn't have enough people to do a remake of "Gilligan's Island", but I would've auditioned for Thurston Howell III, that is if Ginger wasn't already cast. It took less than ten minutes for the whole trip, and because of the size of the boat, it actually got a bit choppy, but the new Treasure Island Terminal was quite nice as it's right across the road from the majestic Administration building. I took the 12:30PM ferry, and it departed on time, which meant I was on the island by 12:40. The next return boat was at 1:00PM which would've made sense if I was just interested in experiencing the ferry. However, I thought it might be an opportunity to explore the island even if the next ferry didn't leave until 3:30PM. It was a stretch as the most you can do is walk along the Perimeter Road for the steps (review: https://bit.ly/36eu7PS) or stop at one of the only two restaurants on the island. Most of the Treasure Island and the pedestrian entry to Yerba Buena Island were blocked for construction. I have to admit I spent a chunk of time at the new Gold Bar nursing a Pina Colada Slushy (review: https://bit.ly/3i25ngI). Don't judge me. The boat ride back to SF was uneventful.
