Such a cute little spot with delicious food. The owner was soo nice as well. If you come here you have to get the waffles!

Glenside is not a normal part of my breakfast turf, but it could become an integral piece of my morning routine if On the Right Track proves consistently a wonderful place for coffee and wholesome early meals. Housed in the former Ardsley Septa train station, this memory of the late 19th/early 20th Century greater Philadelphia transportation network retains all the charm and even some of the inconveniences of life at that stage of American history. The Warminster line still stops here, bellowing its outlandishly loud horn right next to the wood framed structure, offering a noisy reminder of what has been and still can be on its reduced schedule. I was sitting outside under a large yellow tarp when the single car electric train pulled to a stop right next to me, practically blowing me out of my chair. Much more effective than the good java I was sipping to wake me up. This was a modern day Thomas boisterously saying hello. Back at ya! But, most memorable was the quality of the breakfast (Veggie Omelet, Rye Toast), and the natural warm hospitality provided by Vicki and Geaton, the owners/hands-on operators of this timeless kitchen. They served me an overstuffed omelet filled with every vegetable in their inventory, plus a handful of home fries when I asked. It was immense and seemed made of 4 eggs, not the expected 3. It was delicious and enough food for the rest of the day. Although coffee was self serve when I arrived, after being seated along the rail, both Vicki and Geaton came out to check on me and refilled my coffee mug. The price was lower than anticipated. Only $9 for all that, when it could easily been dollars more. This is a locals place, where the customers were regulars and accustomed to hanging out with friends. Still, they had no issue with me joining them this morning, and sharing this magical place.

I stopped by today at 12 to give you a try, but you were closed. Are you still in business or are the hours changed?

Good morning Brian. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We are reopening on Tuesday Sept 13. I had a very unexpected family emergency requiring me to be in Va with my son. I hope you will give us the chance to make… Read more

We have been a few time so far and are so pleased with the service, and coffee. The breakfast sandwich is huge and delicious- definitely add the onions and aioli! Lots of pastry options as well that look delicious. The latte art is a huge bonus and so creative!

It's been such a welcome addition to the Ambler coffee scene since it opened a few years back. I've been a long time Backyard Beans devotee, but Wake has the better beans and general quality. I've gotten a number of their drinks over the years, but my favorite is still a classic cappuccino with oat milk (they've also got macadamia nut milk as the other vegan/dairy free option). For tea lattes, I would pick their matcha over their chai. They used to have a number of pricier but very tasty specialty lattes for the holidays, but this year (2025) it seems like they've streamlined their menu. The Tall Man got his capp with their peppermint mocha syrup, though, and found it delicious. I got a vanilla steamer as a treat for my little one, and it came with a little cinnamon dusted tree. They've expanded their food options and now have a bunch of pastries (muffins, croissants, etc) as well as hot sandwiches and toasts. I didn't see gluten free baked goods, but they have gluten free bread! The brand they use is quite good (if you like sunflower seeds, which I do), but the slices are on the small side - so when I got the Early Bird breakfast sandwich, the filling was positively spilling over the sides. At least they didn't skimp on that! Adding the garlic aioli made it just that much better. The coffee shop is in a cool little converted auto shop right across the street from the SEPTA train station. They've got a number of small tables and longer shared tables, making for a great place to meet up or grab a morning drink. Some folks do cowork there, but it can get quite crowded on the weekends and holidays. High chairs available for the little ones. There's not much parking in their lot, but there is street parking as well as parking at the train station. I'll be back again and again!
