I gave them a try 3 times for a wash and vacuum. The first time I thought I wouldn't go back for a full detail, but they are probably okay for a basic wash and vacuum. I have since gone back twice. Neither time did they get it clean. LOTs of missed spots. You get a better wash going through an automatic car wash. There answer is to wipe the dirt that you point out off with a cloth. If you don't care about your car maybe that works for you. Will not go back. read more

I've gone to on the spot at least 20 times. Every time I've gone in the staff was courteous. They offer complimentary water, coffee and crackers. They do a good job hand washing the cars and drying them. Of the 20+ washes there have only been two I was not satisfied with the wash. On both occasions, they resolved the issue before I departed. So I understand issues happen... but this place seems to have so many! I scheduled their mobile detailing unit to come to work last week. I had to cancel so they rescheduled me for last Friday. Well when I called to confirm, they never saved the appointment and Friday was all booked up. So I rescheduled for Monday well after waiting for the time slot they said they would be here, I called them and was told that their mobile car washing unit was broken down for the day and that I could reschedule for Friday. I know things happen! This was not my first experience. I've scheduled appointments with them earlier this year and they never showed up. I should have learned the first time around. Glorified car wash. Was it clean? Sure. Was it worth almost $200. No. Went with the ultimate detail with pickup and drop off. Pickup scheduled for 8am. Employees didn't pick the car up until 9:45am. They had the car till 6pm which was expected for the amount of money paid and the work to be done. Placed dirty floor mats on top of clean trunk fabric, a piece of plastic under the dirty floor mats to protect the trunk space would have been nice. Also if this is the "ultimate detail" floor mats should be included in the cleaning. Area between where the top of the window meets the window seal was dirty on all 4 windows. Corners of windows dirty. Gas pedal grooves dirty. Cup holder cover grooves dirty. Cotton from old wiping rags left over. Inside of rims still dirty. All in all the car was cleaner, but not "Ultimate Detail" clean. Get out the brushes and get uncomfortable cleaning it. I'm paying you to get into the hard to reach areas. Would not recommend this to anybody. There are other places that will put the time required into car cleaning. read more

I would not recommend On The Spot to any individual or business. I do not think the rating of one is low enough and if possible I would give them a zero. In July of 2016 I purchased a service from this company and due to numerous repairs and fixes I asked for it to be removed in August 2016. It was removed in October 2016 but not without a lot of discussion, phone calls (most never returned) and persistence on my part to get it done. There is a persistent issue that I need to talk to the owner about but the owner will not return my phone calls, ever. There have been numerous messages left with the employees to ask him to give me a call. What comes to mind are the attributes of Honesty, Integrity, and Trust when I think about On The Spot because this company is not the example of any of these. If you use On The Spot for any service you are taking a chance on workmanship not being up to meeting the advertised outcome. NOT! Recommended. read more

I had my car washed two days ago and asked that the passenger side carpet be shampooed because of a little spilled milk. I also specified that they not use greasy cloths on my windshield. I was told that I would need the $29.95 package. When I picked up my car the bill was over $50.00. I was advised that the carpet cleaning was an extra $18.00. I was not told this when I left the car. They failed to wipe the inside door panels and back seat panels, a minor job that would have taken 2-3 minutes. They said I would have to buy the package that included cleaning the seats. My car is new and didn't need this service. The windows are so smeared I will have to clean them myself. I have had much better service for a considerably lower price. I have used the services of this company for several years, and it is obvious the service has decreased and their bottom line is lots of profit. read more

I went on the website to make an appointment for the next day (which showed available on the calendar) for the mobile car wash. At the end of the appointment set up I was asked to enter my credit card info as the wash must be paid for at the time of appointment. I called as I didn't want to pay for services in advance. Lady on the phone was not a good communicator and she told me I would need to pay for my reservation in advance but they didn't know when they could come as their van was down!!! She was going to take my money, the website would have processed my payment but not sure when of if I would have every gotten my car washed!! WILL NOT USE read more

My dads Vietnam war emblems were ruined, his american flag emblem was ruined, RV emblems were cut into and burned by the orbital that was used. Very bad service. My dad dropped his RV off to have the outside detailed. He was told it would be a couple of days. My dad began calling and texting FIVE days later, just to get someone to give him an update, and it took another week to finish it. When he picked it up, it was shinier, but damaged...and they still wanted full price for the work done. Do it yourself or get the 12 year old kid that mows your lawn to detail your vehicle before bringing it here ! read more

While I was in Hunstville from Arkansas for a show my truck would be in, I needed to have it thoroughly cleaned after the drive. This location far surpassed my expectations. People were professional and nice, lobby and restroom inside while waiting was very clean and nice, and the shop was just as clean and organized. Great price for what I received- a spotless truck ready to be place in an indoor show. If I lived here, I'd have my vehicle cleaned here at least once a month. read more

Had my truck detailed here a couple of days ago. Positive and negative things to say. On the positive side, they did get my truck quite clean and looking good. Also, the on site manager was quick to agree to make a couple of things right when I discovered issues. That being said, they rubbed a place on my dashboard so hard they took the paint off in about a 6x2 inch area. Also, the radio would not work after the interior detail. I immediately took the truck back to the place who installed the radio and they found that the radio and entire area behind the dashboard was soaked with chemicals. Further, the seats were still so wet after the detailing it took over 24 hours with a fan to dry the interior out. The radio did work after a night of drying it out with a fan, but I am now concerned I haven't seen all the problems. Finally, the on site manager did say I could expect a call from the owner the next day and needless to say, the owner has not reached out to me as yet. Overall, the pain of fixing and drying is not worth the cost of the detail, no matter how clean they got it. read more

They removed the stock OEM cargo net from my vehicle and did not replace it. I called immediately upon realizing it, just after leaving the location. I was told it would be delivered the following day. It was not delivered for seven days, even though I called every day thereafter. On the seventh day, two cargo nets were dropped off on my porch. Neither belonged to me, and neither fit my vehicle. I personally drove to the location, returned the two cargo nets, and requested my net or a refund to replace it. I was turned away and told that no one remembered my car even having a net. I understand that personal effects should be removed from the vehicle, but this was a stock OEM part that is actually part of the vehicle. Because it is an older model, the part is not easy to find and replace. All I want is my cargo net returned. Furthermore, the job was merely mediocre. The windows were all streaked. The carpet was vacuumed and steamed, but shampooing was clearly not done. The glass in front of the indicator panel was disgusting; it was cleaner when I dropped the car off. read more

I made an appointment days in advance for a pickup and delivery first thing in the morning. Spoke to receptionist to confirm the address and location. They never came to pick up my car or called to say why they didn't. I really needed my car cleaned for a long road trip, and it's disappointing a company would just blow you off after you arranged an appointment with them. I'm a pretty low maintenance consumer, but this is just unnerving that I planned my whole day around not having my car for 8 hours, and then they just don't contact you at all.
