Tom did an amazing job cleaning our very dirty carpet. We were evacuated because of the fire and while we were gone, an animal got into our home and lost a fight with our one of our cats. If I could give Tom NO stars I would! He called me 15 mins before he was supposed to show up saying he'll be 1 hour late. I said when I booked the appt I needed him to be on time because it was a move out clean, and I had a schedule I needed to stick to. When he finally did show up he had an attitude like he was doing me a favor by doing the carpets! If I had more time I would have told him not to bother and gotten someone else. The carpets we so badly done by him that the management company thought they weren't done at all until I showed them the bill. They were shocked how much he charged for 2 small bedrooms which looked like they weren't cleaned. He was supposed to contact the company right away to redo the carpets (which he guaranteed if the customer wasn't satisfied with the job), but the company said they didn't hear from him until almost a week later. By that time the company had gotten their own person who did an excellent job at half the price Tom charged. I ended up paying twice to have the carpets cleaned since Tom did such an awful job. I have had Tom of On the Spot Carpet Cleaning clean our house carpet more than once, the first time about 4 years ago, and just this month again. (We don't clean our carpet that often, and Tom is the only one we have used for our home). He is a totally trustworthy and hard working guy. We have serious dog dirt on our white carpet, and Tom gets the dirt out using all the tricks from his experience, so our carpet comes out looking great. He moves the furniture around and gets to all the nooks and corners. He doesn't use any harsh chemicals and the house smells clean afterwards. We just bought home and the carpet though in pretty good shape was very filthy and full of stains. It was also buckling up in a lot of places and badly needed restretching. I couldn't find any carpet cleaners who would clean and restretch my carpet. Tom gave me a very reasonable quote for both. He worked on our carpet all day yesterday and when we came home our jaws dropped. Not only was the carpet perfectly clean and and stain-free but the lay of the carpet he left was this beautiful and ornate diamond-shaped pattern. Very impressive.
