Andrew said they couldn't figure the issue out and blamed it on the wiring. I only drove the truck 200 miles in this 7 months because I was convinced it had a real issue. I took the truck to another diesel shop in Bend and they found the issue in less than 5 minutes in the parking lot. My truck needed a simple $60 boost relief valve. Fixed the full throttle check engine light and loss of power that I'd spent thousands to repair. A 1999 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke is basic enough I didn't expect a shop with their "reputation" to be so reckless recommending repairs that turned out to be expensive guesses. I would not recommend House of Power to do any diesel work. I can't believe what they were able to talk me into and hopefully this review will help others avoid the nightmare I experienced

We called a few places, including the dealership, to see if someone could take a look and tell us what was wrong. These guys not only got us in, they were able to take a look at it within about 15min!!! They diagnosed a bent brake plate with a rock stuck in it (causing the screeching). They quickly fixed the problem and got us on our way - charging us just for 30min work! Really friendly shop. Highly recommend!

She answered all my questions and was very patient and knowledgeable about everything. I'm very skeptical when it comes to auto places because I always feel like if you're not versed in mechanics someone will find a way to make you spend more than you need to spend. This was not the case at all. I'm pretty sure I'm spending a little bit more than some discounted places but the service is well worth the cost. Mitzi set me up with the best tires she thought I would benefit the most from and gave me a fair price. She set me up with an appointment the same week and also was very pleasant and professional to meet. When I came in for my appointment, she made me feel like I was her best customer and got it going right away. She gave me an estimated time of 1 hour and let me know I can wait at the shop or come back. She would text me as soon as the work was done if I wasn't around. It took less than an hour and I was even able to enjoy a nice breakfast sandwich at Josie's while I waited. The pleasant surprise was that they offer a 3% discount for anyone that pays with cash or a check. Which is great because it helps them with credit transactions fees and they give their customers the opportunity to pay with a better option. What a great business and service. Called Daniel at Inter Mountain on Friday afternoon - said on the way via tow truck. He found a spot for me following Wednesday. Dropped truck off at 1:30pm. Got a call back two hours later saying repair was done. They saw the frustration I had in the truck breaking down at the start of holidays and got right on it as soon as I left. Great facility, customer comforts, no gouging on extras, honesty and customer first attitude. So impressed. Owner Mark and his wife even dropped by our campsite to say hi and see if we needed anything else. Wish they were closer to home to handle all my automotive needs. I'll be spreading the word. He seems on edge and aggressive. Most of what he says is reasonable information if he could say it without making it seem like he is attacking you in the process. I would like to recommend this mechanic but unfortunately I can not. It's a customer service industry. Don't make regular, unassuming customers feel like they are causing you problems by being there.

Aaron interfered in the sale of (his miss diagnostics) dead" vehicle that turned out to not be "dead". In the end, I made more money out of the sale of the "dead" vehicle, with full disclosure to new buyer. The person that bought the vehicle did a full inspection and spent less than $500 to fix it, and it is now running. Aaron was negligent and dismissive and his actions or lack of... he cost me and my family significant damages.
