This location is out of my way. I usually visit locations that are closer to me. In the area, on a recent Costco visit so I decided to check it out. This store is one of the larger locations I have have seen. Items were well organized. Inventory is always changing. Follow them on social media, or sign up for text alerts for the latest information on sales and promotions. The store was clean. Employees were helpful. Selling is fairly straightforward. Items should be clean. They prefer items to be in totes or boxes. All you need is an ID. If you have a cell phone that will make the process a bit faster. An associate will text you a link to the selling form. You fill it out, and submit virtually. If you do not have a cell phone they will enter in the information for you. Be sure to ask how long it will take for them to evaluate your items. Length of time may vary. Customer's items will be held for a maximum of 24hrs. from drop off time. Selling will not make you rich. They have to offset the costs of operation. Getting something back from what children have outgrown always helps. read more

OVER-PRICED. CRAMPED. I used to buy my kids clothes here, but the prices have steadily increased and now the only reason I go is to sell or check out their shoes - which are still reasonably priced. USED girls play dresses are anywhere from 6-8$! I can buy her brand new play dresses at Target for that much or slightly more. Same with kids shirts - I can find them brand new for cheaper or equal price other places very easily. I can also buy new Jeans at Target for either cheaper or around the same price. Why would I buy used clothes for the same price stores are selling the same NEW items for equal or lesser value on clearance?? Lower your prices and maybe I'll give you my steady business again! read more

I usually go to the Florencel location but my last two recent trips trying to sell to them have been awful they didn't even unfold my clothes and told me they couldn't take anything but a few item right off the top . They said it would be a 3 hour wait when I dropped off and they ended up taking almost 8 hours . I'm convinced they just picked a few things off the top and called it a day because I kept asking how long it would take after they told me it would be no more than an hour every hour after the initial three hours past. read more

So it had been a few years since I had been to this location but when I went in the other day to sell some of the baby items we just weren't using or didn't need I couldn't believe how terrible it has gotten! Half the store was taken up with items they hast sorted through yet. There was a ten day wait to sell any of your items and from the looks of it if I would of left y stuff there it would have been at least two weeks before they called me with a quote. It is SO unorganized! Sadly organization isn't their only issue. As I walked around the store to check out the prices of some of their items I noticed that half of the swings, strollers, pack n' plays and baby baths were covered in cobwebs and dust. It looked like they didn't bother to clean the items once they bought them. I will NEVER buy something or attempt to sell items to them again. WORST second hand store I've ever been to! read more

Alright my wife loves this place so I deal with it on occasion. They supposedly buy clothes from people but I guess My wife and I look too weird or something because we had like 3 bags of clothes and they bought like 3 outfits and thats it... so I was pretty upset. And they always say they were stained or something for an excuse.. lol... some of the clothes were brand new... so they have burnt me out on trying to sell them anything of ours... they DID buy some of my sons old toys.. but thats it... They are just like a pawn shop though ... they rip you off big time... 10 dollars for something that originally cost 60... Cashiers are rude sometimes too... Don't really like the place... read more

I'm going to have a grand baby in a few months so I went to see what they have available. I've heard you can get done great things at reasonable prices. They have a large selection of baby clothes. I like how they color code organize them. It was easy to swish through and shop. The baby shoes were all in the wrong boxes , but I'm sure the customers played a part in that mess. The toys seemed dirty and the strollers outside did too...so I skipped all of that. Some employees were friendly and some, not so much. One quick visit is not enough to go on. I was told they were having their annual Winter sale, so decided since I was nearby this past Friday evening, that I'd give it a shot. I'm happy to say that they've completely reorganized the store, freshly painted a nice, soft green and cleaned up the aisles. It was still lousy with screaming children and parents who can't control said screaming children, but the store itself can't do much about that, I suppose. It's fine. I know I could make more selling my clothes a different way, but I also know I'm not going to make the effort, so I'm thankful this place exists. The lady was pretty rude when I didn't bring my phone in the store to sell clothes recently. I know we live in a digital age and I'm a millennial mom, but I tend to leave my phone behind on errands. I love taking advantage of good deals, especially when it comes to clothes that my daughter will only be in for a short amount of time. I use OUAC as my last resort for clothes though, because I always walk away feeling like I need a shower. The store, while organized, seems to be a bit dirty most of the time and there are piles and piles of things in the back that make me worry about bed bugs and the like. That being said, the deals are really great and they do have a great selection of affordable brand-new hair accessories and toys at the front of the store! read more

My understanding is they have new owners and new management. This was my first trip to this store and it is clean, great selection and great pricing. Jennifer helped me and was very friendly and helpful. I went to two other OUAC stores on my drive back to Cincy from Myrtle Beach and the other 2 were disasters so this visit was much needed to restore my faith in my favorite children's store. Once Upon a Child is pretty good, but some of the clothes are overpriced for a second-hand store. I try to catch a sale when I go... That being said, the location is great but the parking is usually terrible if there's more than a couple people there at once. read more

This used children's clothing and accessory store is a great place to buy and sell gently used kids' items. Prices for most clothing, strollers, high-chairs, and baby baths are well below retail. However, bedding and cribs can be nearly as costly as new items. I recently bought a like-new umbrella stroller for only $6.50, which would have cost around $25 new. I'm kind of weirded out by some items, like diaper bins and mattress pads, but I think these are new items (or at least I hope so). read more

This place is terrible. They reject things for the smallest imperfection on some days but others they will clearly take just about anything from some of the crap they are trying to sell. Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff. I questioned the fact that they were only going to give me $10 for a tub of clothes, including a brand new pair of Carter's cleats that had the price tag on them still (for $34) and had never been out of the package. I asked for all of my items back and prepared to leave. I started to leave and as I was walking towards the door, the employee yelled "You dont have to be rude!" I turned around and asked, "what did you say?" And she once again yelled at me "I said you don't have to be rude! " I asked to speak to the manager and she said "I am the shift manager." I asked to speak to the owner and she said "I will have her call you" once again in a rude and nasty tone. I told her I would be contacting corporate and she said "go ahead I don't care." I have been selling clothes at this location for almost 4 years now. Today was unacceptable and I will never be back. I will make sure that all of my friends and family that also go to that location are aware of the situation in the unappropriate staff. read more

I've never dropped off clothes here before so I looked on their website to see their guidelines. Thank god I had them in boxes but she said they had to be folded in the box. My clothes were cleaned, Irish Ed and on hangers folded in the box. They also have a policy not to take clothes dated over 4 years. They look on the tags for dates. I brought in a small box of clothes and items. It took them 4 hours to go through and they didn't take anything. They said they are "picky right now". My stuff was really nice. They also just threw everything in the box unfolded and a mess. I had everything neat when I brought it in and they just shoved it back in the box. I won't be shopping here. read more

Used to shop at this store three or so years ago. At that time they had pretty nice clothes at a pretty nice price. I would go there for a few items and then go to the department store for the rest since not much was offered in their size when I went there. Well I decided to bring in some of my department store clothes that my kids had grown out of that were barely a year old and in fantastic shape and see if they had anything for my kids as well. Well we were told that our clothes from JCP and Macy's were unacceptable. Not to mention that the clothes I found on their racks were in such horrible shape, they could only be used as rags. Most of the store was in horrible condition and the associates were so rude. Not to mention that they don't give your clothes back the same way they take them in. The store is dirty and some of their regulars are very rude as well. My husband and I decided at that point that we would just continue to buy our sons' clothing at Macy's and donate when they don't fit anymore. I told my husband that most of the problem is that most people only care about the brand name and not the condition of the clothing. Like other former customers have said they expect a high price for what they sell and their prices are sometimes actually higher than retail. So no more for me, but this store still needs to come off their high horse. read more

The customer service people were too busy among themselves to ask customers in line, who had been waiting if they could help. After 5 minutes of only one cashier, I left with all my possible purchases on the counter. Get a clue... you're losing money when you overlook customers. read more

I have bought items from this location for several years but unfortunately, after my most recent encounter, will never set foot in there again. The staff look as though they have just rolled out of bed and are EXTREMELY RUDE and unorganized. When dropping off items for sale they misspelled my name, misquoted a date by which to call with an offer and then never called when it was ready although they insisted that they had. When I finally walked in to retrieve my items ALMOST A MONTH LATER they insulted me with an extremely low offer. Conversely, when shopping, their prices are top dollar for second hand clothing. I would rather hand my children's cherished baby items to a stranger on the street than allow this business to make money on them! read more

Last week I purchased clothing for a upcoming baby shower, I wanted to return some items I had purchased for exhchange for more boy clothing. So once I came back with my receipt , the lady tells me the two clothing I had returned were not on the receipt...So I'm like how?! and i happen to see the lady who had rung me up, I replied and said well that lady is the one who rung me up. So it happen to be the manager who said "Well, people make mistakes!" About this time, I am so upset and they take the clothing back and I am like shocked that manager acted so poorly and didn't even apologise for her DAMN TWO mistakes inwhich I had to re purchased...This place has nice children clothing but make sure you ask to be rung up for EVERYTHING that you want, so this does not happen to you. read more
