I drove an hour to this store yesterday. arrived at 11am. I brought a giant bin of clothes so expected a wait. I was told there were 4 people ahead of me. My son and I shopped for a bit, then went to get lunch. We arrived back at 1pm. I saw on my phone completion time was 1:30pm so we just sat in parking lot and waited. He's 2 so naturally grumpy due to nap time. I went in at 1:30 on the dot and they were maybe 4 items in on my bin. I said "I've been here since 11, i was told it would be done by 1:30? do you know how much longer? The girl said, about 45 minutes. I said OK because my son is out there screaming.. she said sorry for the wait I said it's OK. It's not your fault and walked out. I immediately get a text saying it's completed so confused. I walked back in and she told me they weren't taking my stuff.. It was very good stuff. They flat out just didn't go through my clothes. It was all folded nicely, in. large bin, clean, some tags still on. She doesn't didn't like that I went in there, asking questions. I think that is so unprofessional. SO inconsiderate of my time knowing I had a small child and just flat out lazy and rude. I definitely had some choice words when I walked out. not to mention this is the trashiest, dirtiest Once upon a child I've been too so maybe clean up your store before you treat your customers like crap. read more

I have attempted to sell clothes to this location twice. The first time i was told the clothes needed to be laundered and flipped the right way in. I did that , I returned and was told the clothes were passed on due to a weed odor which I know is false because I had them tied in a Clorox trash bag since washing and folding them. The person at the counter informed me that they smelled the shoe box when i asked for her to check the clothes she said the same thing. Which means she didn't check the bag under the top bag nor the rest of the clothes in the bag that have been protected. I also don't even smoke weed. They made an assumption based on my appearance and decided not to service me. I will be posting this everywhere I can think of to let them know about the racial profiling that happens in your once upon a child stores. read more

I've gone to the in Greenville & back home in Maryland and this one is VERY particular about the items they purchase which is understandable but when you are trying to "sell back" the very items you purchase from them how are they gonna deny and say "it's worn" or "missing pieces". Seriously? I purchased tummy time mat from them MINUS the pillow for $2 not bad right? Well I didn't need it any more and decided to sell it back, they denied it saying they'll only purchase it w/ the pillow. REALLY? Then I purchased a little tactile toy, they looks as if it were part of another whole item. I changed my mind on the item and didn't have the receipt and decided to sell it back, again they denied saying they'll purchase it with the main part...WTF~! Again, I don't mind them being picky just be real about your choices. So needless to say...hold onto ALL your receipts for this particular store. read more

Drove to the location cause I was told it was the best around to sell to them. Bought about 100 pieces with me. The time they started to finish wasn't even enough time to go through all of them. They also didn't purchase anything saying it was all old items when wasn't true some where brand new. One lady who wasn't even in the conversation jumped it and got rude when she didn't even know what we where talking about. Overall the worst three hours that I can't get back. They do have very nice stuff which I was going to purchase but with this I decided against it. Most likely won't be back. read more

EXTREMELY RUDE staff!!! We went in 10 mins before closing to see if they had a wagon. Upon walking in the girls said "just so you know we close in 10 mins." No big deal ....my daughter checked out & upon leaving we noticed a rocking horse ...my grandson has been wanting one for awhile...so we're checking price & condition when one of the girls walks over & says we're closed & I can't count money while yall are in here ....my son told her he wanted to buy the horse. I walked over to the rude girl & asked who the manager was...she said I am (ironically she was counting money). I asked who the owner was ...she said "they don't like us to give out their names." I proceeded to tell her how rude she was running customers out the store ...she said she had to be out by certain time. I've been in management & customer service & NEVER EVER been allowed to run customers out!! & I'm sure it's BS that the owners don't want to know how their store is ran bc I sure would!!!! One of the girls held the door for us to get the horse out ...I asked for the managers name bc I didn't see her tag & I planned on calling the owners to let them know my experience ...she told me & also mentioned that the girl is not the manager ...hmmm, so she is rude and lies!! And yes i was able to find the owners name on Google!!! I told both my kids (both grown who shop here frequently for their children) this store would NEVER get any money from me if this is how they treat customers!! & if I owned this store rude girl would NOT have a job!!! They made $42 in those 10 minutes & could've made more if my daughter had time to look around. read more

Hm. The place is crowded and the staff was not only space-cadetish but slightly condescending and the girl who "helped" me had a hateful edge to her voice like I was taking up her time. I went in to sell and she was, at best, short with me. Oookaaayy. She offered me 5 bucks for an Anavini hand smocked outfit THAT HAD TAGS! They will only pay you 50 bucks for a crib, even if it is new in the box. Yeah, I will just sell on ebay, thank you, and not deal with the cluttered hassle. I was not impressed with their childrens clothes. Basic mall stuff that you can get anywhere.Lots of Gymboree and baby Gap and Carters, but with the outlets so close, you can actually get new for cheaper. I saw alot of faded, ragged and stained looking items. And they were, what I thought, overpriced for what they were. A buck fifty for a used onesie? Huh????? The toys are all plastic stuff and really not that much cheaper than you get new. The store is crammed and the staff was not really friendly. I'll just sell all of my nicer items on ebay and just deal with shipping it all. read more

Expert staff that is extremely friendly and helpful. Great selection for infants and toddlers. Store aisles are a little cramped, but the value is so good, it's worth it. Great sales. Email list sends you notices if you sign up. read more

First let me say they bought over $100 worth of my kids' clothes. I usually do find some good clothes too. The manager working they day we went to sell was extremely rude to my friend that was there to help me. We were carrying on 4 large containers and my friend (trying to be extra helpful) was carrying then behind the counter to stack them where the others had already been placed and the girl yelled at her and told her not to do that. Later, my friend asked if they had a trash can she could throw a tiny piece of trash away and that same girl said, "yes, it's outside". Unacceptable! Just rude and in called for.. I sold ten items of girls' clothing - mainly Justice brand - and it equaled out to about a dollar a piece for what I got paid. Pretty simple procedure. It took less than 15 minutes. read more
