I love checking out this store every once in a while! They have some clothes of great quality for low prices. They will be honest and let you know that their prices are the same as buying new from Walmart and a few other places. I appreciate all the old navy stuff and Cat and Jack. Their prices are lower than most Old Navy sale prices. Their selection is not shabby either. I love that the clothes are color coded. Now when selling clothes, don't hope to make much! You're basically giving the clothes away. They usually offer around 25-50 cents per piece. I'd rather give the clothes to someone in need than to give it to a business for their profit to be honest. I do not get it. I'm all about consignment, but the prices here make me not want to buy anything here. A pair of jeans for $10, when I can get them brand new for $10-15 with coupons and discounts. Prices for used shoes were just $10 under brand new. I get it some may do well there. There must be a secret to shopping there. This store used to be amazing! When selling clothes they were very particular about clothes and what the bought, but now the racks are loaded with clothes that are stained, missing buttons and have tears in them. The exact same items are next to each other and priced completely differently. Customer service is next to none and the employees just stand around talking, laughing and scrolling their phones. Just left and Mickaela checked me out, never acknowledged me, spoke to me and acted like I was bothering her. I asked if she was having a bad day, all she said was no and still had an attitude. Horrible staff. I stayed inside while waiting on my total for my items I was selling & the staff were talking about customers and saying unprofessional things about them and how their items were stained etc. They were making comments about people being too lazy to clean their items and so on. Upon arrival, I had asked for help unloading my vehicle because I'm disabled and the staff looked at me like I was stupid for even asking for help. Eventually a woman came out and helped. I would not return here. I've already started selling my baby supplies to other stores because of the unprofessional behavior here. Items are too high priced as well. read more

If I could give 0stars I would. I'm a single mom and I brung all my daughters clothes that she out grew so I can buy her new ones. I had 0-3 to 12 months and it only took them 5 min to go threw them and they only picked the stuff off the top. You can tell they didn't go threw it all the way. With 10 outfits they gave me $15. The one in Edmond is AMAZING and organized to a T but this place is trash. All of the clothes are just thrown everywhere with no rhyme or reason and the staff is full of incompetent teenagers who don't know what to do when a problem arises and look at you like you're supposed to find the solution to their problem. read more

I have loved and shopped at this store for many years. Previously the store was so clean and well-organized. That said, I was there today. Clothes are organized by gender and size. It's a mess. Clothes hanging in the wrong area. Lots of them. Junk all over the floor. When I went to check out and pay, there were 5 people working behind the counter. One was at the cash register. A few people in front of me. After leaving me standing there for several minutes, I finally asked if one of them could check me out. The one that was organizing coat hangers acted all put out but did finally come to check me out. This store Needs some improvement. read more

HORRIBLE. Although the staff was wearing masks, they did not clean the check-in kiosk between customers. The screen was covered in fingerprints and the store wreaked of smoke (I could smell it through my mask!). Additionally, they took my items without instructions to check-in. When I asked how long it would take, an employee took my bin and wandered around until she finally was able to consult with another. The second employee told her to get my info. When I asked for the third time how long it would take and told them I hadn't received check-in instructions, the second employee rudely told me I was "supposed to" check in at the kiosk. At that point I felt too uncomfortable and dirty to sell and asked for my items back. I'll be washing all my items again bc I doubt they have been cleaning the bins in between customers. read more

I took one box of my sons clothes up to exchange about 20 minutes after they opened with my 5 year old in tow. The wait time said 10-20 minutes so I said I'd wait in store and grab a few items. An 1 hour and 15 minutes later they finally finished my one box while I watched others who came after me pick up their buy back items at checkout. It was basically empty when I walked in and there was absolutely no reason for us to have to wait that long. On top of that I sat and watched the girls who were looking through other people clothes and making faces and commenting as if it's their job to judge anyone. Super disappointed, I love them because they're cheap for my 5 year old, but hate the experience. read more

ok this store In particular i did not like, i went at 7pm the staf during that hour were all snotty teenagers and i can say that im a teen myself. the baby clothes sections were all over the place and not organized. staf would walk right in front of me while i was trying to look at clothes. i asked about the 10 onesies for 10$ (i heard about it on tik tok) and the staf i asked so very rudely smacked on her gum and said no. when i went to check out nobody was helping the customer who was struggling with a pack n play. they were all just staring at him. staf was just standing around. when the girl was checking me out she about ripped a sleeper and said "wtf" and got mad it wouldnt come off the hanger. i do like once upon a child just not this location. also when i first came in the door was locked. same when i was leaving the door was locked and nobody came over to unlock it. read more

Great consignment shop to purchase gently used clothes, but very stringent when it comes to selling clothes. They are very particular about what they accept but I have seen subpar clothes on their racks...stains, rips, missing buttons, very worn shoes, etc. I am not as comfortable shopping there since they expanded because it's now very busy most of the time. Great prices on cute stuff though. read more

Very disappointing. I took my grandson clothes there on my first visit and they said the clothes had a smell. I was not happy about it because they were clean clothes hanging in his closet. So i took the clothes back home and re-washed them and took them back. I could see a couple of the girls back there smerking at me as if they remember me from my last visit. They actually thought it was funny that i showed my brown face back up again. Then to add insult to injury they pulled a few items as said they would buy them and told me maybe i need to wash the clothes at a laundry mat. My feelings were hurt because i went the extra mile for these people and that was not good enough. These clothes could have helped a needy family from spending a ton of money for school clothes. So my question here is? Do you not take brown people clothes because of the neighborhood that your nusiness is located? So once upon a time, Once Upon a Child was a great place to shop. Today, we took in seven boxes of the girls' clothes, much of it hardly worn. When we picked it up, they had bought one small tub of the items I thought they might not take but stuck in anyway. The last couple of times I shopped there, I left empty handed because the stuff was worn out. They paid well for what they bought, they just left the best stuff. I go there and all I can find is clothes in bad condition and yet they won't take my brand name items that were barely worn because they weren't folded to their liking in the box. You can find some really nice clothes here, and most of them are really great prices. They also have some really great sales from time to time. Of course, they also have toys and other baby items as well as clothes. They will also buy or trade if you have gently used baby items, although the last time I went in with clothes they were only buying "sets" (top and bottom match/came together), which I have few of. This place used to be a wonderful place with great deals they still have great deals but you can bring in namebrand hardly worn clothing and they want to pick out the worst of the bunch and give you a hysterical amount. I had tons of Nike, UA, etc. Don't waste your time to bring clothes here they're rude and whenever you go to get your clothes back they try to give you half of your clothes because they don't know what the hell they're doing. 10 out fits for my four year old, 3 over the swim suit cover ups for the 4 year old, four name brand sports t-shirt and sports shirts for the 10 year old, all clothes looked very very good if not brand new and $90 later all the summer clothes they will need!! Full retail I'd estimate for the same clothes would have been $300 easily! They have all the clothes separated not only by gender and size but type of clothes, shirts, T-shirts, dress shirts, polos, long pants, and by color! Very organized. Very clean, and the clothes are not all worn out and used looking. They will buy your clothes back as well. Take your child with you as they have changing rooms right in the store and they have an enclosed play area for the children while you shop! Parking on the weekend can be a bit tight but not unmanageable. Bathroom is spotlessly clean and modern. And they also sell toys, cribs, try cycles, etc etc etc. read more

The customer service was horrible! As soon as I enter the store the assosiate (Manager) immediately said what she didn't take, the time the store stops taking clothes, that they don't take certain infant clothes, that the clothes had to be matched into outfits, and how I had alotnof infant clothes. I felt that the women at this store just didn't want to go through all of my babies clothes due to me being in several boxes of named brand clothes on good condition.I called the store prior to arriving and no one mentioned anything about the store not taking items by 6! I believe that they were just focused on getting off of work wich is understandable because I have previously worked in the retail field for years but still at the same time you have to be courtious and not try to discourage a customer from entering the store all because they have alot of items! This was my first time coming here and I will never come back! All the manager did was nick pick and state how picky they were bit I truly felt that she just didn't want to go throw the boxes of clothing so that was her excuse. The women both spoke at the same time and emphasize how they didn't want certain things before they even looked at the items rather than getting me and getting at least a brief statement of the items that I brought in! The manager and her staff were very harsh and unprofessional and they need to take a couse on good customer service in the retail field! They want to pay you .60 for something as they print a 5.50 tag for said item... They rip you off bad and if you don't watch close will steal items. I saw at least 4 times (2 new with tags on them) on a table off to side when I declined the cheap offer and asked for my stuff back. I usually love this store and have been using it for quite some time now, that said, I have seen the gradual changes it has gone through with customer service. I am happy to see that there are young people here who are able to get a job and work however, their respect is completely out the door. There is none. Also, I have arrived several times at opening time but lately the past two times I have watched them physically inside preparing and what looks like to be cleaning the store for customer preparation so I was very surprised when I walked in to find puzzle pieces all over the book case as well as little metal pieces and a backing to a battery operated toy on the floor, the little metal piece I found inside the children's/baby play area. Had it not been opening time and my daughter and I been like the 2nd customers inside the door, my daughter the first to actually play in the play area that day, I'd understand but clearly someone should be walking the store or vacuuming, something to assure these things are not laying around on the floor as soon as the store opens and probably even when the store is being closed. And I don't know if there was some underlying cause for these things to have been found because when I handed them to the employee nothing further was said about them or why they were on the floor right at opening time.
