I love this place! the snacks to go store had THE BEST service i loved the hot topic! and the claires needs to change their sign to the new version. they had a freaking shoe charm kiosk and that lady running it was so nice! and they have a party supply store inside! amazon cannot compete with this mall. whoever hates this mall is an idiot. read more

K.S Boutique & Alteratiin scammed me and my daughter today. She wanted a labubu and when we walked up the lady said that she had several different labubu dolls and I should've walked away when she didn't tell me the price when I asked. She stated "that the price is different"... when we opened the box and my daughter pulled the toy out we noticed that it had a limp in its step and the face was completely off.... I paid $44 for a fake and I'm irritated that she thinks it's okay for charge the actual price for a fake toy. This should be illegal. Here we go Visiting friends and decided to stop to pick up gift. I was raised to bring something when invited over, it's just common courtesy! I thought about a candle, so I stopped in Dillards, to my surprise they had additional 40% off already reduced decor. Of course, Dillards is Dillards everywhere you go. Nothing new! This is a small mall and the anchor stores are Dillards and JC Penney, so that's about it. It didnt have a lot of shoppers and most seem to be mall walkers. Its location is adjacent to highway, so easy in easy out. Overall safe, clean shopping, walking space. read more

I stopped by totally tea here at sooner mall. Price looked great at 5.99 for a large and 4.99 for regular. Wife and I ordered two drinks, we're told those drinks only come in large size. "Okay, no problem." Total rang up as $18.84. Asked why it is not the price advertised and cashier said that that's what the manager/boss said to put it as. We didn't add any extra topping, just ordered the drink and the advertised price is completely different than the price we were told. Not cool TOTALLY TEA. read more

The service was alright. They didn't have many stores, in my opinion. The only stores I like there is Old Navy and BABW. I feel like if they have high prices, add more stores. The clothes in Old Navy were pretty good, the selection in Spencer's and Hot Topic were not my cup of tea. I get that Rue21 is not there anymore but if they didn't close every Rue21 store I'd be more satisfied. read more

I would give a negative if were an option, not necessarily for the stores because they are clean and staff seem to be friendl. The mall itself is nasty. Just take a walk through and look at the floors, the sills around shop windows and the air vents in the ceiling. everything is dirty, instead of dust bunnies you'll find dust elephant. The floor hasn't been mopped in month, possibly years. Come back the next day, next week even, you'll see the same spills. It's so hot in the store, too hot to try on clothes. It doesn't make for a good shopping experience. read more

Absolutely the worst mall in Oklahoma, possibly the country. I feel bad for any business restricted to such terrible quarters. If their selection of businesses didn't suck, this place would still be horrible. At the literal end of the pandemic, as shops are opening back up, they don't even open until the butt-crack of 11:00 am... and close at 7:00 pm... sorry if you work a regular job and are in need of a product almost exclusively found in the mall. I visited this mall amidst the busy Christmas shopping season. I was able to find most things I needed all in one stop, which is what I think a mall should be. There are lots of stores and pretty ample parking. I would suggest possibly a few more eating establishments because the choices are very limited. read more

This mall is still functioning and people are still coming despite the death of malls having been declared. I don't live in Norman, but 2-3 times a year we drive to Sooner Mall to go to stores, mostly specialty womens stores. It's nice atmosphere mall, with people, but not wall to wall people. Parking is easy, getting in and out of the lot might take longer than any of us like, but you can do it. It's sad that the Sears store no longer is there as that was one of the places hubby liked to shop at. They don't have a giant food court, but they have an El Chico and a few other food stops throughout the mall. read more

It's just ok. It is small, and crowded. I sometimes have no idea what stores are even there. The parking lot can be a mad house... oh man I would hate to be here during the holiday season. A mall that just falls short of average. The mall does not seem to be in a dying condition but it is not in great shape either. There are lots of offbeat shops here, which often signals a dying mall but many vacancies were filled. Nothing really worth going into though. Let's start with the negatives. If you have been to Quail or Penn, you know what great malls they are. The problem here is that Sooner Mall is almost all clothing, shoe and department stores. There is really nothing here for the guys or kids unless they need clothes. The restaurant selection is also below average. With that said, it is very clean, safe and relaxing to shop at. The stores are up and down on service (Journeys and Finish Line are bad, Gap and Old Navy are great). The kids play area is fantastic and they have free quick wi-fi. The restrooms are also great. Parking is great if you know where to look outside of Christmas season. It's not a great mall but it is a good one. read more

This store is doing a great job during Covid. I have only been out for essential things but decided I needed to go see their selection for our family pj's this year. Fantastic selection and 40% off pricing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Checkout lines were marked for social distancing. Check out the mask selection, so many cute masks, hard to choose. Definitely will continue to shop here. Curbside pick up is also offered. read more

3 Alaskans went to the mall. No, it's not the start of a joke, we just hadn't seen a mall for 5 months and went a little crazy. Stopped in Dillard's and Express, both of which were having sales (my friend's luggage got lost on the plane and Alaska Air reimbursed him for the cost of his clothes). We also spent some time in Game Stop looking for new Pokemon Go equipment. Small mall, but it has the essentials - Chick Fil A, Sephora, Auntie Anne's, Hallmark, AE, Claire's, VS (none of which we had seen the like of for months and I don't even like malls). I kind of feel bad for hating on the Golden Triangle Mall in Denton after going to this mall. The stores are somehow worse but the food court's bigger with more options so maybe a fair trade off? Anyway, both are worthy of one star. It's just a small town mall that is only a place you should go to if you're desperate and need something ASAP. Otherwise, make the 30 minute trip to OKC. I haven't been to many malls out here in this area but I've been told there are better. Sooner Mall is small. It has a lot of small shops and the food court is pretty small as well. It's clean and has a lot of seating areas and a play zone for the kiddos to enjoy outside of the children's place and near the bathrooms (they have a family bathroom and nursing room also so that's a plus for new moms) and the restrooms are always clean which is a plus. They have giveaway here often and if you sign up online for their rewards emails (free) you may get a discount or cash back on your first purchase. They also have talent scouts here from time to time. Overall it's a solid 3 star mall. I would like to visit a few others but I felt after 3 or 4 trips here I was pretty confident in writing this review and feel it's a fair reflection of what you will come to find here. Their Old Navy and Victoria's Secret stores are well stocked and large compared to other shops. And that's great because I love both of them. read more

Is this the worst mall I've been too? Not at all. Having the closet mall near me for the last five years be nick named "devil Dog" mall, I'll take this place. I'll take the young college kids over Marines hitting on you every chance they get. This mall lacks shoe stores. I was on a mission to find a pair of boot, coming from california ALL my shoes are SANDALS. Realizing my wardrobe only consisted of tanks, sandals, and shorts, and the cool weather coming, I needed to get some winter gear. This mall does have my favorite stores, AE, Express, Pac Sun, VS. And I found a few things, but this mall just lacks other quality stores. But it is better then the mall I had to shop at for the last 5 years. Will I go back? Yes. Will I want to go back? No, I hate shopping, I prefer to get stuff off the internet. ALSO, they do not have a Bare Escentuals make up counter and that would be my only reason o visit this place on the daily. The other reviewers aren't kidding when they say this mall is TINY! My cuzzo forewarned me that this mall isn't the kind where people come to hang out, but it has most of the essentials you'd need -- Victoria's Secret, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Express, etc, as well as department stores. Not much else to say, except I thought it was cool (and appropriate) that they have tornado shelters inside the mall and their bathrooms are cool. Inside every stall had a little seat with a belt to buckle in babies/small children. There was even a closed lounge for mothers to breast feed their babies. I've never seen that before. read more

In one word: dislike. In two words: dislike intensely In three... oh, hell... Why don't I just go to town? This is the only mall in Norman, and it barely meets the minimum standards of mallness. It's not very big, and consequently its selection is poor. Regardless, it's ALWAYS crowded. Maybe it's a sign of early dementia, but I go back on occasion only to get there and then remember that I never leave with a purchase. What this mall needs is some investment, especially when it stays so busy. I mean, they need to add a new wing or build a new level on top of the existing mall to get more variety in there, plus add a parking garage to accommodate more people. Although Penn Square is quite chic in comparison to Sooner Mall, it's not at all convenient from Norman. Likewise, I can't imagine someone living in central OKC would want to make the road trip to this mall because it is so lacking. I guess it's a functional place at best, and provides a fix if you need to go shopping and don't want to drive to OKC. But in the end, it's nothing special. read more

This is a great small town mall. It is not so big where you end up walking miles, and there are all the great quality stores. Including, Victoria's Secret, Charlotte Russe, Pennys, Old Navy, etc. It is clean and well maintained as well. Also, park around the back between Sears and Macy's. When the BF has to study for an exam or go to a meeting on campus, I end up taking a stroll to Sooner Mall. Like John said... There are better malls in OKC, but if you have nothing else to do, why not check this place out? Sooner Mall does pale in comparison to Quail Springs & Penn Square because there isn't much variety, but I like that they have a Forever 21. That is my fast fashion staple and I recently found out it's the only one in Oklahoma-- that is until they open the megatron one up in Penn Square. Be thankful that you live in Norman and not by the poor Crossroads Mall. read more

Sooner Mall is average because at least - Dillards is an anchor store. Buckle, Gymboree, Bath & Body Works and updated Victoria's Secret are the stores that keep people coming back. Bathrooms need at minimum to be deep clean then wiped down more than once a day. Kiosks- reaching at best. El Chico - vacuum your floor and clean your restaurant. It will help your numbers. Play area for children should be for mall customers and not used by parents as a day long hang out for toddlers while you are on your iPhone not watching them, but the mall cannot regulate this practice. The mall can however CLEAN this area nightly. You don't. You could be a better mall simply by taking better care of your property. The stores that bring business will likely appreciate it. read more

This is a fairly no-frills, utilitarian mall. For a town like Norman, it serves its purpose well as long as your needs are basic (JC Penny or Dillard's, as well as a few mall staples) but if you want anything beyond that it's time for a trip up into OKC. And it'll always be Sooner Fashion Mall to me. read more

A typical small city mall with your usual small shops & department stores. It's nice to have close by, but really not enough available. If you need to have a big shopping you're better off heading to Oklahoma City. read more

It's a small mall but that's not the problem. The freaking KIOSKS are the problem! They make me not even want to come here anymore. They station themselves all over the mall and harass and catcall everyone who walks by. I have been grabbed by these people, had makeup forcibly applied to my face with dirty brushes, and even once had some of my hair *burnt off* by one of the flatiron girls(with the same iron that they used on hundreds of people before me without cleaning it). It's basically assault. I have to act deaf or pretend I don't speak English just to get past these vultures without getting accosted. Sooner Mall management- if you're reading this, GET RID OF THE KIOSKS. Kick them out. Literally nobody likes them and they are driving away business from legitimate merchants. I used to buy all my phone cases at the mall but now I order online cause I don't want the Dead Sea creep in the adjacent kiosk to run up and start rubbing lotion on me while I'm browsing. Malls are dying and I blame these stupid kiosks. read more

Let's just get right to it: it's a pretty pathetic mall. I mean, when two of your three anchor stores are Sears and JC Penney's, then you can't really expect that you're going to have a great shopping experience. The shopping selection is poor to average, and stores continue to close (Vanity is apparently gone at the end of the week and Gap is gone next month). The food court selection is dismal with Chick-fil-A being the best option...but that's nixed if you're visiting on a Sunday. There's a nice play area for kids, but Quail has something similar with better stores, a larger food court, and a theater. Yes, it's a college town but the college students can and do find better pretty much anywhere else...including Campus Corner. Sooner is quickly becoming a ghost town and I've met several mall employees who've shared similar sentiments and expressed how it just needs to be razed and have a fresh start. My surprise came when I was talking with a woman while sitting in the play area who couldn't believe Gap was closing because the mall was "SOOO popular!!"....said while the mall was completely dead during the holiday season to the point you could swear you heard crickets. Just drive to the city and have a better shopping experience. read more
