The store is neat and clean. Many clothes to choose from. I believe it is a consignment shop, maybe some things are on consignment.

first off they had a very "let's just get you out of here" type of attitude and that goes for ALL of the staff there. ** I brought a whole bin of BRAND NEW - NEVER USED clothes and shoes with the tags still on them and everything and they told me that they weren't at the standard they were looking for which is bogus because they're right out of a store.. THEN they told me that the stuff they DID accept which was about 10 things, they only wanted to give me $12.78 for it. I've been going here for years. it's always hit or miss. if you're coming to shop you'll prob find some good stuff & be treated nicely. however selling anything. they're always rude & won't take anything. there were brand new clothes with tags they didnt take & so much more. & try to offer you little to nothing. especially toys! they tried to give me $3 for high tech brand new expensive toys that I paid $100+ for. yet when shopping youll see kids clothes & toys that need to be in the garbage! stains & extreme fading. yet they won't take brand new tagged outfits? I love Once Upon a Child and go there often to get stuff for my baby. The clothes and toys are a great deal most of the time and the selection is amazing. However a lot of times not everything is in the right place but that's normal at a second hand store. The overall cleanliness could be better. The bins they have for the toys and shoes are dirty at the bottom and need to be deep cleaned. read more

This place has clothes for children but they randomly close their store. They have posted hours but they may or may not be open . They will stick a sign on the door. I advise calling before you go before you waste your time and gas driving over. read more

So disappointed. This is the only once upon a child I've been to that doesn't really pick anything when you bring in items. I had brand new clothes, swim suits, and shoes different age (not newborn) and they barely took any items. It's crazy because the store looks empty whenever I go in and has a little amount of items. Never say "hey or hi or ask how my day is" they don't even say "have a great day or even say by" it was the most awkwardest time in my life at that register today. I don't shop for my kids clothes anywhere but once upon a child and this is one of my favorite locations. The employees aren't that great but I don't care when I'm buying amazing clothes for super cheap. I will say though that it's pretty annoying when you bring in all your nice kids clothes and you hardly get any money for them but that's the business I suppose! read more

Once upon a child is suppose to take gently used items, when in reality they want new items. I took in darn near brand new items and they refused them after placing price tags on one item. I would understand if the items were in bad shape but they weren't. So make sure your items are new not barely used. Thanks read more

There is a good variety of clothes, toys, baby equipment, and furniture. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. They always have clearance and weekly specials. Selling items is easy and they usually give you a good dollar amount for the items they buy from you. read more

This is where I typically sell my children's items...I have had very decent luck, and they've always been accommodating...I also purchase clothes from here as well...good experiences...no bad experiences that I can think of in the many years I have dealt with them...they do not buy stained/overly used clothing, but who would want to buy that anyways from a store, unless it was the thrift store...whatever I have made is way better than dealing with a garage sale or getting nothing by donating...sometimes you just choose your battles, and some of these reviews are unfair, especially with employee turnover rates...the ones that have been there for a while, rock! read more

2 stars because they have wide selection of clothing. That's it. If you are going to consign go elsewhere! They severely underpay for your items and turn away good stuff based on "staining" or " too worn". Which I found hysterical because most of the toys there are very worn and stained. Oh, no batteries in toys so you can check to see if or how they work. In fact some of the clothes I bought and baby outgrew in a few months were deemed "too much wear" after being worn once, maybe twice. If anyone there checks these reviews here's one tip- if someone brings in 60 items and you only want to buy 8 of them, be a little customer friendly and call that client so they know. read more

Discriminate on who they buy from. Shopping is fine though. They barely took the time to look at my stuff. Their answer for everything was it had staining. But skipped the clothing with tags ( thinking I stole it) and got the older more likely to be stained clothes two items. Just to say they tried. read more

This use to be my favorite. The place has gone down to the point it's sad. Sad that almost all the clothes are "play clothes" quality. There are so many dingy toys, filthy shoes and stained bouncers the place smells. It strongly appears they will buy whatever they can. Looking at PJs most were pilled and dingy. How can you think it is a wise decision to purchase 8 of the same walker and pile them on a shelf. Junk toys all over the floor is common place. Unfortunately I will not be doing anymore business with this company. I dropped off clothes Wednesday and was told they had a new system to check you in. After explanation we realized that my old phone number was still assigned to my account so the associate that was checking me in told me she would change it for me. I don't know if she was new or she just didn't want to ask how to do so but she didn't. So my clothes were donated. Then the store manager tells me that because of the paperwork I signed there's nothing she can do about my clothes because it says if they aren't picked up in 24 hours they will be donated. I also find it funny that donations get picked up every day but they constantly tell customers that they can't leave what is unwanted and to go to the drop off bin in the parking lot. Also if I'm not notified to pick up my clothes through text why would I waist my time coming back into the store if I'm not told my buy is done? You would think employees who are in a business like this would be more careful about what they are doing. read more
