The top was partially glass, and he cleaned all the glass and then he cleaned the wood around it. He took up the receipt that was sitting there to the office and they reduced the price and he came back as excited as I was the only drawback to this visit is I was taking home the floor model I was on my own the people who come out to help you all nice could you nothing to help me lower the seats in my Honda Accord so that the table would fit in better they did fit it in the backseat and then I was stuck with the large piece of glass. I asked them for wrapping or something you know and they don't supply anything ever that's what they told me so I had a rough ride home. It was about 10 miles and I was afraid to go over 5 miles an hour because of the glass sitting on the floor in the back suffice it to say because I drove very slowly. I've been coming to this location for about 5 years now. I…read moreinitially came here right after getting out of the Navy because it's what TRI-CARE recommended me to come too. I showed up and was promptly greeted by Wade and was taken to the back and asked to do a foot measurement that involves walking in a straight line on a instrument used to measure weight distribution of your feet when walking. I did that and all the measurements were taken, and I was told to come back in about two weeks so I could get my inserts put in my shoes...Two weeks later, I showed back up, picked up my inserts and was asked how to pay for them and I told them to bill TRI-CARE. Unbeknown to me three weeks later I found out that TRI-CARE doesn't pay for orthotics. Wade, he said there was some sort of mixup with insurance and said don't worry about it this time. They were the BEST 3-D printed inserts with a foam pad on the top that I've ever experienced in all of my years in the military wearing boots and running shoes!!. The inserts were so comfortable. I wore them for 3 years straight before they started to wear out on me. I came back and had my feet remeasured because they only hold your information in the computer for so long. I showed up again and two weeks later picked up my inserts and I wore them for about 30 days and they made my feet hurt so bad.lol. I brought them back and was told by Wade that one of the measurements was incorrectly imputed into the insole programing machine that creates the soles for Feet First and they were able to find my old measurements to go off of. They gave me the goof up pair that they made for free even though they made my feet hurt. I still used them sparingly in a pair of shoes I rarely wear. I came back two weeks later again and received the new pair and have been wearing them now for the past 2 1/2 years and they've been amazing. I can't wait to go back to get my third pair. * I work in the aircraft industry and I'm standing on hard concrete floors and walking around a manufacturing floor 10 hours every day the week and these inserts hold up really well my feet don't give me any issues except for the times that I don't have the insoles in my shoes because I bought a new pair of shoes. Immediately after putting them back in my new shoes my feet feel great. **Overall, I can see where some people might've had some hiccups in the past or issues with using this place for orthotic needs I wasn't a true believer until they confessed to a mess up they made and made everything right, and I've just been blown away by the quality of their insoles. They may be pricey around $375 because I don't like to use insurance, but for that price I'll pay for good quality insoles.

I…read morestarted out first at the women's shelter and while I admit it was really nice to have a hot meal, shower, and a bed to sleep in there are many problems that they don't tell you about. First, there's no screening process for those who stay at the shelter except for hepatitis (which you have to have a card within 4 days clearing you). while good there's many other issues they don't screen for. They don't check to see if you're "clean" meaning if you have open sores or even body lice [which 5 people had while I was there] which could put others at risk for health issues. They also didn't check for drugs being brought in or even small knives -a lady in the bed next to me had a comb that concealed a knife - correct me if I am wrong but this is a danger to anyone including staff. Second, the showers.. yes, you can take a shower, however, your time for a shower is 7 minutes. This time IS NOT from the time you are in the shower...this 7 minutes starts as soon as you walk through the bathroom door. So, you are lucky if you get wet. Third, every piece of clothes that one takes off for the shower is thrown into a large trash can, which they gather to wash the clothes. ALL CLOTHES ARE WASHED TOGETHER IN ONE BIG WASHER. Now this problem goes back to previous statements all the clothes put together opens everyone up to the body issues (sores etc.) as well as possibly spreading STD from one person to another. off to the side of the shelter you see a big building which we were all told was the housing for those in the life builders program..along with some offices a clinic and bathroom. A few people went from the shelter to the program but I guess it didn't click as they ended up 3 days later back at the shelter. I went from the shelter into the program and I admit I had some expectations thinking I'd have a nice room to myself.. wrong. You ended up having close to 30 ladies confined to one floor! Everyone had to share rooms with others, showers and such. You basically could be using the bathroom and someone walk in wearing a bathrobe take it off and get into the shower in front of you...no privacy at all. Many described the situation as being a vamped up jail setting. Everyday you had classes you had to take which I have to say were a little odd and didn't really address the problem at hand which was the addiction everyone there was fighting. The "counseling" that everyone was required to have as well is NOT done by licensed professionals but by the instructors or even office workers. I can honestly say I didn't do shit when it came to counseling because I could tell from day one it was a crock of crap and everything you shared at any time was not private. Everyone knew your business. Oh and this is the most important information to know. They emphasize from early on that the life builders program is free and helps you save money to assist you when you leave. This is partly true HOWEVER as soon as you gain any type of income you have to repay them for everything they did for you. A better explanation of this... when I came into the program I had nothing to my name. I didn't know that I had gotten disability and found out while I was there. They sent me a check for 4,000,000 and I was really happy and wanted to put it into the bank right away...I WASN'T ALLOWED TO !! As soon as they became aware of this check I had to repay every cent of the program and pay rent for the room I was sharing with another person. Out of the 4,00,000 disability check after everything was taken out I saw only 25.00 dollars! Correct me if I am wrong but they had zero right to take money specifically for a disability I had. This is just downright wrong given that my disability affected movement and my ability to function daily. While I was there with all these ladies several were stealing from others and using drugs right in the open. Yeah we were tested but they found ways around it. The program is just a downright lie or scamming people so they can make money. It's not what it's supposed to be.
