From the moment we hired her, she went to bat for us immediately. She coordinated all of our vendors and set up an editable timeline for all of them too coordinate the scheduled beforehand. We had a vision, but she helped fine tune everything. Day of- WOW. We were a little all over the place and she was so calming! She took everything on and didn't show an ounce of stress. Some of our family and friends were SO challenging, but she handled every situation professionally with courtesy and respect. She jumped in the food truck when they were running behind to help, cut the cake when we didn't have anyone doing so (oversight on our part..), ushered us and family and friends in the most polite way. During the planning process, Amy was so responsive and able to recommend quality vendors! Our wedding was a total of 14 hours and the Blush ladies made sure each minute was amazing. I should note, Amy made sure I was able to enjoy the wedding reception (including being able to enjoy my dinner with my new husband and have cake). We were not running around doing a million different things, in fact, we spent the whole reception enjoying each other's company and our guests!

In May, I wanted to book our wedding in a timely manner due to needing to request time off from my work. Lesley was not available to show us the venue due to her being out of the country at the time but she was very accommodating and had Melissa come and show us the venue. We fell in love with Melissa right away. She explained all the different options and packages we could pick from. We gladly picked her Tiny Coordinated wedding option. Lesley sent us a reminder to apply for our marriage License 60 days before the wedding which was really helpful. She also agreed to officiate our wedding for us so she sent us a questionnaire to tailor the ceremony to our style. Then, once closer to the wedding she sent us a draft of everything she was going to say and gave us the option to adjust it as needed. It made our ceremony exactly how we wanted it. When we arrived to the venue, she had everything already beautiful, set up, and ready to go. She helped with getting any extra decor I had brought unloaded from the car. The dressing room was adorable with multiple mirrors to get ready at. We only used it to change into our dresses but we were very impressed with it and wished we would have booked more time to do our hair and makeup in there. My bouquet and the boutonnière made by Melissa was stunning. The flowers on the top of our arch were beautiful too. The ceremony was beautiful and Lesley did an amazing job keeping it short, funny, and tailored to how we wanted it. It was exactly how I had envisioned. She then helped us with getting our marriage license signed and filed it after the wedding for us which was a huge relief. She helped with getting all of the catering set up and our cake cutting organized. While my only complaint was that we ran out of tortillas, Lesley was able to get some more tortillas for us. Looking back on all of it, I was extremely happy with the experience we had at Lavender Owl Farm. It sounds like they are making even more improvements to make the venue more beautiful then it already is. The beauty of the farm-like style and flowery gardens speaks for itself and doesn't require much more decor. I would highly recommend to others looking to have a beautiful small intimate wedding.

Jessica photographed our small wedding- she was great to work with and the pictures came out…read morewonderfully. She gave us a jump drive at the end with all the photographs (good and bad!) which allowed us to pick our favorites. I really appreciated that because I have had friends who were only able to pick from a limited set of photographer-approved and retouched photos weeks after the wedding, or who could only buy the printed images. That probably works well if you only want a few perfect images, but it was really fun for us to see all the pictures, select our own, and be able to email and print them as we wanted. I was actually a little worried about it beforehand because I've had several friends who were really disappointed in their experience with their wedding photographer, but our experience with Jessica was awesome.

We had most of of our details down by the time we decided to bring on a coordinator, so had the thought that we would only need help "day of", however we feel like we got so much more! Kelsey kept us organized, helped us map out the flow of the day, put both of us at ease with a few things we were concerned about, and allowed us to completely relax on our wedding day. She helped weave a series of events into a wonderful celebration. Having Barbara working behind the scenes with the various vendors and performers allowed us to be participants at our own event. And her experience and guidance helped make our son's bar mitzvah immeasurably better than we could have managed on our own.

I could see in my head what I wanted our wedding to look like but I couldn't really express it and I certainly didn't know how to make it happen. We had a destination wedding so we had our meetings with Christina over Skype. Somehow she not only figured out who we were as a couple but she knew exactly what we wanted. She was able to create a beautiful design that not only represented both the bride and the groom but also wowed our guests.
