Well I have to say this place is awesome! Upon arrival you are greeted and treated with appreciation. I always accept a delicious coffee or herbal tea that is offered upon arrival. I am never left waiting and my appointment is always on time which is a big plus for me. Tommy- a very up-to-date, knowledgeable and friendly stylist has been doing my hair for about 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. Tommy is warm, easy to talk to and he knows exactly how I want my hair to not only look but feel within minutes of discussing my options each and every time from the cut, the color to the style. Tommy is incredibly clean and never in a rush showing he truly cares about making his clients happy and takes pride in his work. He himself does the shampoo as well as the blow dry which I really like as opposed to other salons where you are shifted around from one person to another. My color is always right on and it lasts much longer than some other salons I have been too. I also want to mention that only after I inquired about some products did Tommy make some awesome recommendations that have truly left my hair feeling and looking healthier. Aveda products are already known to be one of the best but I didn't feel as though he was just trying to sell me the products. I have been going to Aveda One on and off for many years. I have always been happy with the results. For the last two years, I have only had my cut and colors at Aveda with Tommy...except if I need a spur of the moment root touch up or trim and Tommy is not available. In that case, Priscilla has provided great service with fine results. This is a very professionally run salon which is inviting and comfortable, with the beautiful Aveda fragrance. Aveda's stylists are exceptionally well trained and talented. With great products, great training and very personable stylists, it would be difficult to not be pleased with the services at Aveda One. I find the prices also to be very reasonable. Tommy is a little more expensive because he is a master stylist. Priscilla's services are a bit less, however you won't be disappointed with her either. The team at One Aveda is full of so many talented individuals and it's hard to choose who you would like to work with..recently I got lucky, and was able to work with the beyond talented, kind, and relateble Anna. She listened to my desired look for my color, and gave me her honest and trustworthy suggestions. I have to say I will only being going to Anna for my hair coloring, cut and styles. I've been searching for a salon where i could become a regular for 6 years now, and i finally found it. This salon has great hours compared to most in Delray Beach, and was able to get me in same day, just days before a holiday. The staff is all very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Ronda did my haircut, and she did an excellent job. She did exactly what I asked for and was sure to ask lots of questions about my habits and preferences so she knew what my goal was. I have fine, long straight hair that doesn't do much, which means its difficult to get body or shape from it. She did a great job, one of the best I've had in Delray Beach, and I plan to go back to her as a regular from now on. I needed an emergency hair appointment, since I tried dying it myself and instead of turning out blonde it ended up turning out orange. Bright orange. I went to see the nice ladies at one aveda salon and A team of ladies assessed my hair and instantly gave me hope that it could be fixed. I wore a headband to work all week long u til Saturday finally arrived and it was my appointment day. The ladies at one aveda worked together and came up with a plan to get rid of the Orange and make me blonde again. And they managed to get rid of all the orange!! It was a team effort and a process that they succeeded in and I'm very grateful. I put complete trust in one aveda Salon and I was not let down. I can't wait to come back soon for another process. I hardly ever write a review...only if something is outstanding. And just so you know...this place is just that! I have been going here for over two years, seeing Tommy...he is bar none the best artist and stylist. And I would know.....I grew up with a Mom who colored and cut! And not to mention, I have been through a few. But today they went an extra measure( not that they don't always)...they knew I needed to be somewhere, made sure I was out of there on time! Set up someone to blow me out after highlights (did I mention they also squeezed me in during the holidays!) And props to Ariel as well! She makes coming there always such a pleasure. A cute, young neighbor at our pool whose style I complimented, recommended I try Aveda. I am an "older woman" with short hair, but wanted a contemporary cut. Found Aveda and happiness! Making an appointment online was easy and convenient, giving you a choice between different levels of stylists and price points. After booking, my appointment was confirmed and reminded via convenient text messages. I saw Maria today, who gave me a beautiful pixie haircut. She was personable, professional and took the time to get to know my hair and my personal preferences. I love the precision haircut she gave me. Also love that I got to use a $25 coupon. I found this salon by reading reviews of local salons. I have a regular stylist at my home up north but needed someone down here. It seems that the color treatment I received at One Aveda Salon lasted longer than the treatments I've received in the past from my regular stylist. Sue, the owner, was very knowledgeable about hair care and products and was able to cut my hair they way I wanted it. I returned 7 weeks later for a trim and 11 weeks after my color appointment for a root touch-up. The salon is clean and following all COVID protocols. I would definitely recommend Sue, owner/stylist! I love the fact that the doors are locked (with the phone number to call) so that no one except those with an appointment at that time can enter. The shop is clean, stations thoroughly cleaned after visit. Only every other chair is used to promote social distancing. Everyone wears masks, gloves when appropriate. With all these precautions in place, it is nice to know that the services remain top notch! I love my stylist Anna. I always have a positive experience at One Aveda Salon. The service is great. They are friendly and welcoming which I find "a must" at the salon. The store is inviting and warm. All employees seem to know a lot about the products. I notice that the stylists are always involved in continuing education which is a sign that they are interested in the latest styles and techniques. I like that. I have had my hair done by several of the stylists there. While I have my favorite, all of them did a wonderful job on my hair. I definitely recommend this salon for your style needs. read more
