Going to see a USF Bulls' baseball game at this location might be the most under-rated and…read moreunder-appreciated ticket in town. The stadium is relatively new and still very clean. There is free parking right across the street from the stadium. General admission tickets to the games are $5. Seriously, $5. And you can sit anywhere you want. Both along the first base line (generally the Home Team side), and the 3rd base line (the Away Team side) there are awnings that cover some of the rows, so you have your choice of sitting in the sun or not. Bottles of water were only $3.50. The day we were there, people also were in the field areas along the first and third base lines, sitting in their own canvas chairs, with their kids wearing baseball gloves to try and catch the foul balls. What a great way to keep the kids involved and interested! The USF Bull's baseball team is doing really well this season, so I highly recommend re-visiting America's favorite pastime and supporting your local team.

We got hotdogs, peanuts, and cracker jacks (yup just like the song), and cookies. The hotdogs were really good. They even had chili and cheese! I would love to come back to an event here. The bathrooms are really big, so I can't imagine there ever being a line. They serve beer here as well, which is a little surprising but nice. Not many people come out to baseball games, which takes away from the excitement. However, this is a great stadium and I would suggest checking it out.

As a resident of southeast…read moreMichigan I'd rather have gone to a Tigers "home" game in Lakeland but our itinerary didn't allow that. Home games seem to be a flexible concept down here in the Sunshine State anyway, with teams playing many hundreds of miles - or kilometers if you're the Blue Jays - away from their home stadiums. Besides the inevitable Blue Jays Crew we saw plenty of other Tigers fans, a good number of people wearing Phillies gear (Philadelphia's spring training home is very close to Dunedin), Tampa Bay Rays fans and just quite a few people wearing random sports clothes from various teams and even sports. A Jacksonville Jaguars fan was in the house. It's a cute little stadium. I like the blue and white motif. Kind of reminds me of old Tiger Stadium though they use a darker, richer shade of blue here. The concourses got a bit packed at times. It seems people get up and walk around more at spring training. There was even a concourse lounge area with cornhole games and people chilling in chairs. We had seats in the outfield along the left field foul line. Seating seemed to be like the Wild West. When we first walked up there were people in our seats. They moved and had to shoo people who were in their seats. Later after we went to get concessions and came back there were people in our SEATS again who claimed people were in their seats. It seemed to be this chain reaction of everyone just sitting wherever. It seemed like too big a pain to try to get our proper seats back so we just moved to the closest row to the field in that section which had empty seats the whole time. So we got an upgrade from the tomfoolery and didn't have to snitch to an usher. Concessions were decent. Nothing to write home about but I was very pleased that as the southern home of Toronto Blue Jays TD Ballpark had Clearly Canadian flavored fizzy water. I love that stuff. I enjoyed a couple bottles. The Tigers were easily beat by the Jays and much of the play on the field was shambolic and/or halfhearted. I get the guys who are already Major Leaguers treating this games as more just shaking the rust of and getting into shape but some of the prospects who should be trying to make a splash and get moved up seemed to be on easy mode, too. One guy was keeping score which was just so hardcore and hilarious to me. So many substitutions. So many little known guys destined for the minors. There were a few players on the field only rocking numbers, no names. Not worth all that stitching when someone else might be 58 tomorrow. Mad respect to the monomaniac keeping score. There were some "Let's go Blue Jays!" and "Let's go Tigers!" chants that went back and forth, sometimes involving only one or two people on each side which were still easily heard in those less than massive, lowkey stands. Fortunately the prices were less than big league but I think it's probably worth it to pay more to see MLB regular season play. Spring training seems to be more about hanging out and vibing. I heard so much small talk in the stands about all kinds of subjects. I wonder what minor league games here are like. I'll probably never make it back but I do wanna see the Mud Hens in Toledo.

Once they did, she accumulated extra tickets for us to go in. Once inside the wait seemed forever. They would let a certain number of people in a group each time. We finally got in around 7:20pm! For sure jumping in is hard when you are bare footed. You can easily get stuck under. It's like drowning, but a bunch of balls instead of water! The most fun or most difficult is trying to get out! Phew! I felt so happy and free after playing around for a bit! What a great fun concept. Those were the days of Chuckie cheese ball pits! Here it is again!

I didn't expect to have so much fun in a ball pit... nor did I expect it to be so physically challenging! The first time I fell, I needed help to get back up, and just walking through the balls was hard! The *shore* with lounge chairs & umbrellas was a nice way to catch my breath. Due to my kids' work & college schedules, Sunday was really the best day for us to go together. I ordered our free tickets online several weeks before the multi-week event began, and 5pm 8/21 was the only slot still available for a group of 6... That's how popular this event was, sight unseen! Once I realized The Beach Tampa would be closing at 6pm on Sundays, I was concerned our time would be limited. However, worrying was not necessary. At the entrance outside, we queued up to enter precisely at our ticketed time. Then inside, we waited again as staff monitored the number of people inside the actual *beach* area for safety and enjoyment, allowing people to enter as others left. The line moved quickly at this point, but we still weren't able to go in until after 5:30. Luckily, staff had already announced to everyone that even the very last person to enter would get a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy The Beach. I really hope The Beach returns to Tampa!

The atmosphere at the Joker Marchant Stadium when it's game day is so much fun, really good vibes…read more I had been here previously for a holiday party up in the conference rooms and it was night and day different. People get there EARLY. I'm talking, I was there 2+ hours before 1st pitch and there were at least a couple rows of cars and more coming already. It gets packed fast so just be aware of that if you're driving. Workers do a good job directing people on the way in, but on the way out it's pretty much a mess. This field and facility are very well maintained. Everything seemed fairly clean, considering how big of a space it is. There is a big lawn behind center field where a lot of young kids run around trying to catch home run balls from the team warmups. It's very family-oriented, just a great and enjoyable atmosphere. The worst part are certainly the prices. If you're not willing to pay minimum $50 at the gift shop don't even walk in there, that was obscene. The food prices are definitely up there as well, but it is still a professional sporting event and that's just how food prices are for that so you have to keep that in mind and be prepared. Also, security can get a little weird if you're not in the main seating area. They make you scan your ticket multiple times to where it gets a little ridiculous. Not a fan of that or the Tigers, to be honest, but I'd come back again because there's few things better than being out at the ball game!

This is a 16.4 acre complex of 6 (200 feet)youth baseball fields (two of which can be used for…read morebaseball or softball) and one 300 foot field for junior or senior baseball. The fields are numbered and clearly marked so you can find your team. The complex was remodeled in 2014. It's named after Sid Lickton the designer of the original complex and a supporter of little league baseball. There are also picnic areas, and a couple cages in which to warm up/practice throwing. In the center of the complex is a building with (clean) rest rooms and an area marked concessions (although it was closed when we were there). We got our hotdog/hamburger lunch fresh off the grill from a concessionaire right next to the outside of the building... There's also supposed to be a press box there, but we didn't see it. The building has an overhang which is perfect to sit under when it rains. By each field is a small set of tiered grandstand metal seating but most people bring their own chairs, coolers, tents, etc. They charged a $5 fee each day for entry during the tournament we attended. There was convenient parking in spaces around the outside of the complex.
