First time at Raymond James Stadium to catch the ever popular BTS concert. Impressed overall with the stadium and all the amenities. Enjoyed the famous Buccaneer Pirate ship. Set up was nice and great sound quality for any concert. Love the pyrotechnic abilities at the stadium for a more impactful and memorable experience. Lots of vendors as with any stadium. However i thought it was odd that purchasing a bottled drink, they would remove and keep the bottle cap. Not a convenient concept nor considered hygienic having an open bottle through the event. Easy to get around once you're inside however I was not impressed with the overall process of when the gates open for the event. It was highly unorganized with no structure or marked lines to control the crowd as we waited in long lines in the hot Florida weather to get inside. Parking was a breeze as we prepaid for a parking pass. Roads were marked and lots were easily accessible and traffic flow was smooth entering the parking lots. read more

The absolute worst concert experience I have ever been to. If I could give 0 stars for the treatment myself and my wife received tonight I would. We came to enjoy a night at the Chris Stapleton concert. A large group of people walked past us while we were sitting in our seats and spilled beer on me and then proceeded to try to fight me. I went to security and they proceeded to grab guest services , the SAFE team and the police. What was the outcome? The group that spilled beer and threatened us got to stay while they looked for different seats for myself and my wife. After leading us around for 20 minutes, they said sorry, we couldn't find anything. I then went to guest services to see if they could get us a refund or vouchers and their response was tough luck, we don't give a shit. We ended up leaving the show during the main act. read more

Came here for the BTS concert in Tampa! I had never been to this stadium before, but luckily someone warned me about their super strict bag policy ahead of time. ​The venue itself is massive. They offer pre-paid parking passes to park directly at the stadium, but they were incredibly expensive--almost $100 a day. Instead, I highly recommend checking out the neighborhood streets nearby. Parking on local lawns ranged from $25 to $60 a day; you just have to arrive a bit early to explore your options. ​Because the stadium is open-air, the pyrotechnics looked absolutely amazing against the night sky! My biggest piece of advice, though, is to eat and drink before you get here. The concession prices were ridiculous--a standard shot was around $20, and a limited-edition BTS cocktail was a staggering $30. ​Aside from the intense price gouging, it's a really nice venue and we had an incredible time. read more

The stadium was the first stop 3 days for the Arirang BTS concert world tour . Parking lots sorround the Stadium. Most fans tailgate or rideshare. The experience was amazing as this was BTS first concert tour after 4 years. This was a full scale emotional concert. The energy and explosive vibe was incredible. No doubt that BTS are amazing performers. The production, pyrotechnics and giant screens were amazing. Raymond James Stadium was the perfect venue for this high scale event. Definitely a smaller stadium with multiple shops for merchandise. We went here to watch a Tampa Bay game. Staff members were very nice trying to find answers to our questions. A good stadium that I was recently here to enjoy a concert. Or tried my best with this heat. Going through the metal detectors was very easy and I liked that I was able to keep everything in my pockets and not deal with bag check. The staff was very easy going and laid back. Once I got my tickets scanned they showed me where to go with smiles and sent me on my way. The escalators were clean but run down and I was glad to get off of them when I reached the top. There are an ample amount of signs to show you where to go and it didn't take long for me to find my section and seats for the show. i had to go and sit in the walkway area outside because it was so hot and they don't have any overhang once you get to your seats. Seating is nice but I did wish I had more elbow room because they are rather close to each other. The one thing I like is that it is seats and not bench style seating. The seats were hard plastic so they got uncomfortable very quickly. I had to get some water from the heat and was shocked at the price tag, it was almost $7 dollars after tax for a regular bottle of water. They also take the cap so you need to walk around holding a topless bottle wherever you go. Good luck not spilling it! read more

I'm an avid Packer fan who travels every year to an away stadium to bring my passion for football to opposing fans. Raymond James is just one of the many destinations I have been to. The Packers won the game.And I had a good time , but there are some negatives to this experience.The first being the humid weather of Florida in early September. We did some drinking the night before the game, which I would highly recommend that you don't do. I then proceeded to do some pregame drinking in one of the lots surrounding the stadium for a twelve o'clock noon game. Before the game even started , I was sweating profusely and not feeling so well , obviously. My seats were in the upper deck , and on the sunny side of the field. The trip up the escalator to the upper deck gave me extreme anxiety. The stairs and ramp are a better option although strenuous. My seats , which had the sun shining on them to start the game , were nice but it was absolutely brutal sitting there. I've never taken my shirt off at a game.But at this particular game , I had my shirt , shoes and socks off and had to retreat to the concourse to hide in the shade for fear of falling out. Point being, if you're from Wisconsin, make sure you hydrate before the game.Because otherwise you'll be in trouble. Tampa fans are very decent people.Although they didn't like me taking photos in front of the pirate ship celebrating after we won close a game. We went to this last Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025 home game and had a blast. We took Uber here which was easy from the River District, a little traffic, but not bad. Trying to get a Uber back was a nightmare. The parking lot designed for pick up was a zoo. And the Uber system couldn't connect. it took 3 hours from the end of the game to get back to our hotel in the river district due to not being able to schedule an Uber. I suggest driving to the Stadium. It was easy to get into the Stadium. There was no long line to enter. We got there an hour before kickoff. No bags are allowed which wasn't an issue for us. Also, they ask you not to remove anything from your pockets. You can keep your wallets, keys, cellphones, ect in your pockets. We walked through the metal detectors without an issue. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025 was free tshirt day. It was easy to claim your tshirt and there wasn't a mob or any pushing or shoving to get one. They gal just handed them to you as your came into the stadium. Everything was labeled and we easily found our seats. The pirate ship was a great feature and we took lots of great pictures with it in the background. They didn't have fireworks but, they did have a helicopter fly over and at halftime they had a drone show. The drone show was to the right of the pirate ship, due to we were also on the right of the pirate ship it was hard to see, but they projected it on to the big screen so we were able to see everything. We also made sure we were in our seats at half time to enjoy the show. Food and drink are expensive here. I got a coke, the only size they offered was $8.50, way too much for a signal drink. We also had a pretzel which was really good. It was soft and hot. They only sell the double can beers and beer on tap. I believe the beer on tap is either $12 or $15. I can't recall. More expensive then Vegas was the only comment I heard from my husband. They had team kiosks. Before the game the line was around the whole kiosk area. I couldn't believe the line. We went to another teams kiosk and there was no line and they had the Christmas Ornament that we wanted so we got it. It was $12 something I believe or it could have been $15. I'm not quite sure, either way it looked great and was exactly what we wanted as a souvenir. For me as a women the bathrooms fit the bill. There never was a line and they were clean. On the other hand at the end of the game there was a long line for the men's and I heard it was awful inside. I'm glad I'm a women. Overall it was a good experience. I would suggest they come up with a different approach for the rideshare experience. Maybe have Numbered stations or something so the rideshares know where to pick someone up. I know the Stadum can't control the apps so that isn't on them. read more

Came here for a Bucs game, which ended poorly for them as they gave up a two TD lead in the 4th quarter and lost by a game winning FG. Overall, the facility is pretty nice and the pirate ship makes it a pretty unique experience. I had club seats, which apparently gives you access to better food vendors, but I still think the food is alright. Logistically, getting here is a nightmare, where you can expect pretty bad traffic. Uber and Lyft drivers will reject your ride because the fare they're making isn't worth the time wasted in traffic, so advice is to pick a spot about 5 blocks away and walk to the stadium. read more

I attended a My Chemical Romance concert here, and I'll do my best to never attend an event here again. The staff is disorganized and unhelpful. I was yelled at by event staff at Dodger Stadium, but they at least ran a tight ship. At Raymond James, I had no idea where I was going and there was nobody willing to help. The bag policy is disgustingly greedy. 4.5"x6.5" are absurd dimensions. The fact that we bought merch for the concert outside of the stadium and then had to pay to rent lockers was quite unfortunate. Built on part of the former Drew Field, the stadium opened in 1998, seats 69,218, and serves as the home field of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as the University of South Florida (USF) Bulls. It was my second time attending a NFL game (Bucs def Panthers 16-14 on Saturday, Jan 3), which means I'm still a novice. I didn't know umbrellas aren't allowed inside. "You'll block the people behind you," the gate agent said as she confiscated mine. Could she return it to me in case the rain continued? Not a chance. What do they do with all those umbrellas? If we want to leave early, we have to walk out in the rain--so where do they keep our umbrellas? I wish they would at least put them in a large bin by the entrance so people could reclaim them afterward. Second, if umbrellas aren't allowed, the open areas should at least be covered during inclement weather. They aren't, which is disappointing. The rain is soaking and unrelenting. Most seats in the stadium are uncovered, yet I'd guess about 90% are still occupied. The other 10% of fans are milling around the concourses. Reportedly, garbage bags have become highly sought after now that ponchos are sold out. Only a handful of fans are leaving. We can't--because we no longer have umbrellas. ... no Amex lounges (ha ha ha) - shows I don't go to NFL game often. #12 is the most popular jersey--perhaps because Tom Brady (1977-) was the only player I knew on the team. #6, Baker Mayfield (1995-), the current quarterback, is also widely seen. By the entrance, there is a small area filled with white sand. There are two gates. Although you can reach the other side once inside, it's better to enter through the correct gate. Unfortunately, the gate attendants don't mention this; they simply scan your ticket and let you in. A greasy smell permeates the stadium, which is unpleasant. Bathrooms are plentiful, with at most a one-minute wait. At one point, I entered through what turned out to be an exit--either it wasn't labeled, or I didn't notice. When I realized my mistake and went to the other side to queue properly, a young attendant was kind: she smiled (approvingly, I hope) and, a moment later, held the door open for me. The ushers are all very friendly and helpful--thank you all. You made a rainy, miserable day memorable. The parking lots are fragmented and scattered around Raymond James Stadium. We were assigned Lot #13, which is quite far from the stadium and equipped with portable toilets, at a cost of $41. The closer, more convenient lots cost as much as $95. Lot numbers are not clearly marked. As soon as we turned onto N. Himes Avenue, handmade "$20 Parking" signs began popping up, likely put up by nearby homeowners or condo residents. read more

I heard negative things about this stadium before attending the BTS concert, but everything I heard couldn't be farther from the truth. The tickets stated which gate to enter through. The gate letters were up high and easy to view. I asked an employee quickly which direction gate B was at and they very kindly pointed me in the right direction. I walked right through the metal detectors and ticket scanning. I arrived an hour before the concert, no lines. The lines were inside for the drinks, but even those were very reasonable. Upon going through the gate there was this adorable employee who was encouraging everyone to stay hydrated. There were a few people selling waters and sports drinks by her. They were reasonably priced for a stadium. The strange thing, but I like it, was that they had to remove the caps from the drinks. I'm sure this helps with littering. Luckily there were no bugs in sight, so I didn't mind this. Inside the stadium was clean, seats were in great condition, and the decorations were so cute! There was a giant pirate ship that I hear shoots cannons off during games. By the ship was a little pirate looking village. The stadium offers sensory rooms too which is thoughtful. The concert went off without a hitch. The most impressive part was the exit. I was out of that venue in less than 10 minutes. This was a massive world wide concert event, and I navigated so smoothly out. They were very prepared with staff at every exit and to help with traffic. I had a great experience. read more

I tried the loaded nachos, but they were more like loaded chips--definitely room for improvement there. Attended for the first time for the NHL Stadium Series Game and liked it so much I bought Season Tickets in the Hyundai Club for the Bucs. I like the fact that higher up they have seats in the shade on the west side in the Hyundai Club. The Stadium is set up well and with the new renovations being planned to add more this will perk the stadium up a bit back to its old glory. read more

I came to this stadium as a visitor and the lines for security are ridiculous. People clearly did not read the rules for things that cannot be brought in ahead of time. There is a NO BAG policy which I read before arriving since I had a clear bag I used at other stadiums. The security did their job but that made it take longer than necessary since people brought in things they shouldn't have. The prices for food and drinks were also very high. Be prepared to sweat as there is nothing to shade you from the sun. read more

The stadium is decent. The seats were fairly comfortable. There was a lot of parking so we didn't have any issues when we needed to leave. The escalators made it easy to get to upper levels. Food selection was as expected, but bathrooms were clean and plentiful, so only a short walk to and from seats. And I certainly don't advocate bringing in outside food or drinks, but they only check small bags for that stuff. The "only a tiny clutch" policy is annoying, but that's pretty standard. Beautiful Stadium with great roadway access. Parking was plentiful. Had the pleasure of experiencing the East Club, which is a bi-level air conditioned space with bars and multiple food vendors for any paste. The stadium seats were cushioned and you could order food/beverages from them. Great views too. read more

The whole communication from beginning to end was terrible. My chemical romance concert was fantastic in itself. This is all in regards to the venue itself, because honestly, the venue from beginning to end was terrible. They were completely disorganized. I got there around seven am to try to get a limited shirt. But then, security allowed all the people who came way later to cut everyone else who had arrived earlier at the merch truck. All the shirts and everything got bought out. Couldn't really get merchandise that I really wanted. I was so completely upset. There was no good shade it was hard to stay hydrated. My brother and I spent at least forty to fifty dollars on water and gatorade alone once they came out after two pm. Security didn't enforce the line, and they confused people allowing all these other people to cut in front of everyone that had been waiting there for hours beforehand. And then the worst part comes with the GA pit wait line. There were people literally camping out the night before for the GA. The amount of trash, pillows, food makeshift, mattress some used as the line finally moved was so disgusting. They should have made wristbands or something.So this wouldn't have happened. Staff was clearly unprepared for the amount of people coming to this venue. And the fact is, none really did anything when people were passing out from the heat between waiting in the merch line and the GA pit. Between this venue and miami hard rock. I am not sure what is worse. Both were just awful venues in the way that they handled the crowds and the merchandise. It was completely disorganized, especially When they allowed the seated people to go in first before the g a pit and we were standing there for an additional twenty thirty minutes.And they only had one little door for the ga pit before they had to open up more lines because of how long the lines were. And again, this has nothing to do with my chemical romance, because they were absolutely fantastic.This venue was just trash compared to many other venues i've been to around the country as a regular concert goer. lastly, the no bag policy is terrible as someone that needs it back to carry items such as a charger drinks cords etc. Made it even a worse experience. read more

It's a nice venue in terms of the performance area, but it can be a bit of a nightmare to figure out how to get in. There are multiple entrances to the stadium, and our tickets said to go to a specific gate. However, you can access most areas through most gates and you can be admitted at them. The few exceptions are floor tickets must enter through the Ford gate and Fifth Third Bank cardholders have a gate specifically for them. We were fortunate enough to walk around and find a much shorter line, but of course most people were lining up at the first entrance they saw. There were no signs indicating that there were other options, so the wait times were incredibly disproportionate depending on your location. The staff were trying their best to direct people, but there's only so many they could help within their vicinity. Hopefully the admission process gets streamlined in the future. Security was easy, and the worker was nice making sure my light stick didn't roll off the table. Overall I had a fun experience and I might be back since this venue gets a lot of popular acts. read more

One of the easiest stadiums to get in and out of because of the numerous points of entry, lots of premium parking too. I live on the opposite side of the state and it pains me to say they have the nicest, most helpful staff. I attend dozens of concerts every year and there are always staff on a power trip.
