I have only had great massages here. Alicia, the owner is great, and very friendly, and makes sure the girls are well trained. If I need a strong, deep tissue massage, she'll assign a girl that is able to help me for that. If I want to have my back walked on, there may be another girl for that. If I am in pain in a certain area, I tell Alicia, and she makes sure the masseuse focuses ample time in that area to alleviate my pain. I don't like to hope for a good massage when going to other places, because I know my expectations will be met, by coming to One by One Foot Massage, in Westminster. So. I never leave a bad review. Ever. My Dude and I came in while we were waiting for a battery charge at Autozone. We weren't even in pain going in, we just wanted a quick0 foot massage to kill time and relax. What a horrible idea.. Upon entering, the girl that helped us at the front seemed confused. She knew English, but seemed confused in general. $25 for a foot massage for each of us. They set us up in our own rooms, but with no direction so I'm kind of just standing there for a few minutes, waiting for someone to line the bed with new sheets. Eventually someone comes to set it up. I sit down and soak my feet in the warm water and think "okay this should be fine everything seems normal." I lay down and ask her not to touch my hair or my face, so she starts on my shoulders. It smelled like moth balls in there, I would suggest some essential oils to mask that. She's patting my shoulders with no specific pattern or routine, and it felt like a raccoon digging into my skin looking for food. This continued all over my body, with very little lotion so it hurts. She had me turn over, with no face liner on the bed, so I asked for one and she grabbed the towel from the USED bed next to me. I said HELL NO ill just rest my face on my arm and she can work her way around it. She ran her forearm across my spine, with gusto. The entire duration of the massage I was wondering when it would all end.. I was in pain. I was uncomfortable. I was being manhandled like a rag doll by a 3yr old on Christmas Day. Is my boyfriend ok? Is he also being manhandled and is afraid to say anything as well? Are we going to make it out of here? What the hell is going on? My massage is done. I get dressed and I'm dazed and confused. I walk out to the lobby to wait for my Man to comfort me. Shortly after he walks out, and he also looks like he needs comforting. Yes.. He was also manhandled. He's angry. The girls stand there and expects a tip. we ALWAYS TIP... But this day.. It was not a generous tip. I was hoping to run out of there and never look back. We actually paid for that? Throughout the day waves of anger run through us and we think... Man it feels like we were violated. I can't believe we paid for that. Anyway. I was recommend to try this place by a friend. Of course, I checked the other Yelp reviews before trying it out and I was a little hesitant because this place had so many bad reviews. Also, I don't live that close to this place. Let me start by telling you, this place is great and don't let the bad reviews stop you from coming here. If you check the dates on most of the bad reviews. They are old from a few years ago. I think this place is under new management. My first experience here was a full body massage. It was very nice and relaxing. It is in a private room with solid walls and a curtain entrance. The place isn't super crowded and the noise was kept to a minimum. I enjoyed my massage and my body felt very good and relaxed after. $40 for the hour. I have also tried the foot massage. They bring a bucket of hot water to soak your feet in. Also, you can take off your shirt and pants while you get the foot massage. It is semi private. It is in a single bed that is curtained off for privacy. Most foot massage places that I've been to, do the foot massage in a open common community area so they massage you in your clothes. In my opinion, the massage feels so much better if I am able to get undressed. What a bargain for only $25 for the hour. I would definitely recommend for you to try this place. read more

This is one my new favorite place after my first visit! It's small but easy to find. The place looks legit and you're greeted with friendly staffs. The service was excellent. I asked for firm/deep tissue massage and the therapist delivered it. For $15 (1 hour session), it was excellent. All I have to say is wow. And that's not a good thing. When I first got there I was walked in quickly and courteously. The woman that walked me threw and gave me my massage, was dress like she just got outta bed. Which made sense because it was Cold in there and the room. The $40hr massage started off well and I told her my problem spots (mostly one side). But I still had to tell her several times she was hurting me. Other than that the massage was good. Just couldnt get over the sound of her chewing gum the whole time. When I finally get it outta my head. I hear a camera shutter sound. I look over to see her on her phone. She tryst to explain it's a friend texting her. I ask " is that the best message tone for someone working at a massage place? And does that make it any better?" I ask her to put the phone somewhere else and she puts it on the table top, where it falls several times. I have to tell her again to take the phone out of the room. Great place to get a full body massage for $15! Don't let the not-so-grand entryway deter you from visiting this place...you won't regret it! I was a bit hesitant to go in upon seeing how dark it was inside but I'm glad I decided to try this place out. I've been to many different day spas with well-trained massage therapists as well as many of these smaller massage establishments. I would have to say that the massage I got here definitely ranks as one of my top fives. The massage was very comprehensive and relieved every muscle in my body that was tight and sore (from feet to body to scalp). Even though they don't customize your massage by asking you what you need work on in the beginning, don't worry because they'll be sure to loosen all the knots you may have. My massage therapist was very professional and friendly. The default was definitely more of a deep tissue massage so if you can't handle the pressure, be sure to ask for more gentle pressure. They also include some stretching as well as pressure point techniques throughout the massage. The ambiance was good...quiet room with dim lighting. There are only barriers to section off areas but they don't have private rooms. Overall, you cannot get a better massage for $15. Service: My boyfriend and I came in for a couples massage for $25/hr in a private room. I believe it is $20/hr to be in a communal room with over 30 people. The masseuses that we had were constantly speaking to each other in Chinese, which made us both feel extremely agitated. These same women were a bit rough on us and we had to tell them to be gentler multiple times. To make matters worse, we only got 50 minutes instead of the full 60 min. When it came time to pay at the front, our masseuse had asked me how much I was going to tip. I said $5 per masseuse (20%) and immediately the masseuse yelled at me and said "what?! NO... I want $10 each!" I found this extremely rude because 1) they did not do their job well to relax me, 2) did not give me the full hour, and 3) were demanding a 40% tip. I came in wanting to treat my boyfriend to a relaxing day, but this business is highly unprofessional and I will not be returning. Ambience: The whole plaza and inside this business looks a bit dead and could be lightened up a bit. I just came here today with my mom and received one of the best reflexology massages I've ever gotten and it was from April. April was incredible! I know reflexology massages are supposed to be a bit painful so that the next day, your body feels like jelly (flexible/no longer tense/etc.) However, I get tortured most of the time and I feel bad telling the masseuse it hurts, so I hold my breath until the abuse is over. I'm a small girl! you can't massage me the way you would massage a huge buff Samoan 6'5 dude. Too soft, however, makes no difference to my sore body. However, April was spot on! It was as if April customized the massage pressures according to my size or something.... I asked April to focus on my shoulders and she did just that. She massaged my problem areas firmly, to the point where it hurt, but in a good way. She then worked on the rest of my body with a little less pressure. What I really liked about her massage was that she took her time. I know the massage is for an hour with everyone, but most places, I feel like they're rushing. April took her time, so I could feel her fingers cascading and I could enjoy the massage. They increased their price to $20/hr now and they even have a couples private massage room for $25/hr. I wasn't too crazy about this place. I don't think I will go back but it wasn't terrible. The entry way was gross... The water machine was gross and it wasn't a nice ambiance but in the back, the massage beds were nice. I like that they separate you in twos meaning you and the person you go with, if not alone, get to have a wall divider. I was teetering between a 3-4 score. FYI. For $15 bucks its pretty good. The atmosphere is a bit different and its not entirely relaxing. My husband and I came before he ran the LA Marathon for a rub down. I think his was okay. My massage was just okay as well, although I left here an the next day my feet were in utter pain. I definitely think she was a bit hard on my feet, but wasn't sure at the time, because I was already sore. We definitely got the private room, my hubs was pretty uncomfortable even there. You're not quite sure what to do when you go in and they don't speak a lot of English. If you're looking for a basic massage that doesn't cost too much, why not. I went here today got an hour long foot massage & body massage. It was one of the best massages I've gotten. I don't know the lady's name that massaged me, but I went in there 5pm today. They hardly speak English there, but they do know when they are being to rough you can easily communicate that to the person who's massaging you. My only issue was the privacy. I realized afterwards I was the only girl in a room full of guys being massaged, but other than that this place is awesome. For a $15 hour long massage this place is perfect if you are economical with your money. Just remember to wear comfortable/loose clothing because they do pretty strip you down when giving a massage. I've been to many foot massage shops. This is my favorite so far. Most of the workers understand minimal english. But they do understand "soft" and "hard". My favorite 2 workers here are May and Jenny. Jenny's english is really good, as are her skills. May's english isn't as good, but manageable and I believe her skills are the best. The only reason for docking one star is because of the noise level here. Both the private area and open areas are adjacent to the lobby where people can get noisy. Really good experience. The storefront is presentable and the hostess ladies are nice. The bathroom was clean and the main room is partitioned so you have more privacy than you would at another foot massage place. My massage was almost perfect. Very thorough and relaxing. Also, when you're done the person massaging you gives you a lovely cup of hot tea. I would definitely go back here and plan to as soon as I need a massage. For$15, it can't be beat! There were a couple of drawbacks though, like you can hear the street noise inside the massage area and you can hear people talking in the lobby which sometimes took away from the relaxation of the place a bit. Also, after your massage, the ladies seem to wait around to get a tip. The worst place ever! My massage therapist went on a vacation so I decided to come back here ( I came here twice before and it was ok, not great but acceptable for massage) I usually get a massage every couple weeks with my husband @ different place and we tip 20 per person for a good massage, 10 for a bad massage. - just a reference how we usually tip. They have the hot water for your feet at the beginning. The massage started with putting lotions on my neck/ shoulder/ arm. When the lotion dry, she repeated it. Over and over. She went to my arm, then went back to my neck/ chest. Shouldn't she finish my head before move down to do arm? Why going back and forth? Just prove that she didnt know what to do and tried to copy the person next to her. There was only putting lotion on my skin, no pressure apply, no deep tissue massage. When she tried to do my shoulder, she leaned her arm on my hair!!! I had to move my hair out of her way myself. Same for leg and feet, rubbing oil over and over. She used he nail and rubbed / scratched around my toe, not sure what for. She putted a towel on my eyes and it has a old dirty towel smell. When she putted me face down, she tried to point me face down without the face sheet, I had to point it out to her that I need the sheet here. She putted my hair on the side next to my neck and she massaged my shoulder WITH my hair on it, I had to removed my hair out the way again !!! She burned me twice with the hot stone. I dont have a thick skin so I won't blame her on it. She already said sorry for that. She used her fingers tip to squeeze my butt @,@ I didnt want to tip at all because this is not considered as a "massage". However I asked for $5 change and the owner looked at me like I'm the cheap ass. She said she didnt have 5 so my husband tip her 10 instead. Not even worth the $$ to spend on the hours. Deets: Cost = $15 cash or $16 credit for a 60 minute full body massage Reflexology = Nope Atmosphere = I'd give it a B- or C+ depending on the time of day Chairs = Not sure what the official name is but the kind where it's a flat bed with a hole in the top for your face. Not the reclining chair kind (thank goodness) Open room = Yes Private rooms = Yes..... Hot oil for back = Yes Latex gloves = No (my preference anyway) Lotion = Lightly used, if any, otherwise they massage naturally (dry) The store front faces on to Westminster Blvd., but there's a back entrance behind the building with plenty of free parking. We made an appointment for 2 people and requested a guy for me and a girl for him. I feel that girls' hands are too small and fragile (or they're too rough and awkward) but I digress.... We ended up getting 2 girls :-\ Not sure of her name, but my girl starts in. Pressure's off so I let her know and she kindly readjusts. Here's the low down on how they do their massages here: -You start sitting on the foot rest for a shoulder and upper back massage -Then you lay face down for an amazing full back massage complete with her sitting on your butt and straddling your back (sort of erotic, keep it real) -Then you flip over on your back for a scalp massage followed by arms, legs, and feet -You end on your back (Personally, I like ending on my tummy but the full back massage while laying down is phenomenal.) This place has 4 sections to their shop. The open section where we've been twice now has 4 or 6 flat beds. Then there are "private" rooms separated by curtains right across the hall. There's an area with 6 or 8 leather reclining chairs if you prefer that kind of set up, and then there's another area where they have more flat beds but it looks like those are for private groups. The part that sucks about the open area is that you hear everything going on. The back door that leads to the laundry area and where the employees hang out slams EVERY FRICKIN TIME and is beyond annoying. Besides that, it's dimly lit with cheap decor (what do you really expect for $15?) and soft tunes in the background. Because it's all open air space separated by folding screens and curtains, you can hear the conversations going on, which is odd in of itself. Guys, if you're in a private session, there's really no need to talk to your lady about how great she is because it makes it incredibly awkward for everyone else listening in, wondering if you're about to get hooked up with a happy ending. It's too bad the lobby doesn't have a separate area because you can hear the people who are finished paying their bill and that can be a bit distracting too. All in all this place is $15 and you're getting your money's worth. Be prepared to sacrifice a few things like silence and true reflexology techniques because both of those are non-existent. read more

This is actually one of my favorite foot massage places in the area. Burke-Williams it's not. But for $40 you can get a 2 hour massage. The foot massage and shoulder massage are perhaps 15 minutes of the time but the rest is essentially a full body massage. It's fairly clean and reasonably quiet for this type of place and the therapists are trained because they all follow the same technique and routine. However some are better than others, so I usually do an hour and if someone is good I'll come back for a longer massage. Some of the therapists that come to mind that I'd recommend include Anna, Rose, Selena, Coco and Michelle. Generally, I think it's better to come a little earlier in the day if you can or before dinner. They give a firm massage if you want it and I think some of them can get a little tired by the end of the day since they work nearly 12 hours... they're open until 10:00. I don't know what others tip but I usually tip $15-$20 for an hour, more of itsagrest massage, and they seem pretty happy with that. read more

Lets rewind, I come here when my body is sore or hampered with knots in my back and the ladies here do a really good of getting rid of them. Even if that means I have to go to hell and back for an hour. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating but there are times where I want to squeal like a little girl. But I man up, wipe the tears from my eyes and just keep my mouth shut. My only gripe is when they work on my back they pull my shorts down leaving my ass fully exposed to everyone in the open room. I mean, I've been doing some squats at the gym but those bad boys aren't quite ready for the public eye. Also, a moment that can be awkward for some is when they straddle you from behind to get to all the "hard to reach" places... Like your lower back. Get your head out of the gutter! Holy crap what just happened. I just got the shit beat out of me for the past hour. It hurt so bad! And all the people next to me were snoring and enjoying their massage but the guy that was massaging me was going to town on me. I kept telling him that it hurt and he just wouldn't let up I should've gotten up and left. My back is bright red and my body is sore. Im a really tiny girl (110 lbs) and the amount of force that guy try to put into my massage was ridiculous. Literally my ribs on my back are sore. I've had many massages before but nothing ever like this I'm totally wigged out.
