It was hard to believe that after fifteen years, I would find a place that had EVERY service in one location. From the 1st call and staff getting to know me and my concerns, putting me with an amazing care team that was extremely patient with me talking to me each step. I'm shocked it's not against Yelp's policies for One Dental, a totally different company with different doctors to keep the reviews of a different business to artificially boost their rating. You'll notice they changed ownership and became One Dental very recently. I'd give Dr Mack's the full 5 stars. one Dental is no longer a private practice with a doctor who cares about getting to know their patient and helping them face any dental anxiety. There is one dentist in particular who is rude with an arrogant shows little desire to give patients patience. I guess Im just supposed to sit still be quiet and open up my wallet. The rest of the office is still great but you can't have a dentist there who is that bad and get any more than one star from me. That kind of $&+ is who gave me high dental anxiety as a child. Please do not allow your child to experience this guy (mustache and red hair). Shame on One Dental for not even updating their website to accurately reflect their providers so when I got a random appointment reminder from a new dentist office I'd never been to and checked it out I just thought it had changed names. Horrific experience! Dr. Webley did my root canal 8 months ago and I just found out through an Edodontics that Webley left a file in my root canal that was causing me great pain. It so bad , I couldn't eat eggs. I called two weeks after my first root canal to notify one dental my mouth was swollen, smelling really awful and that I couldn't eat. I was issued 4 prescriptions and a fifth that I didn't fill because it wasn't working. I was told by anymore from that office that a file was left in my Ty canal until today!!! Sabrina, a receptionist argued me up and down that that tooth wasn't the one that was causing me great pain. When I did go back to see a dentist in their office, the dentist told me it wasn't packed good enough and it had to be redone and I wasn't told then it was a file in my canal. Again, Sabrina, the receptionist told me the the dentist wasn't qualified to tell me that because she doesn't do Ty canals. The Edodontics dentist confirmed that indeed, it wasn't packed good enough. Sabrina discredited the dentist who told me the truth about the packing was terrible! Yet, for the whole time in pain and suffering through my ordeal, not once did anyone from that office tell me a file was left in my canal. Not once !!! Why keep giving prescriptions when you know Damn well what u left in my mouth for 8 freaking months? Dr. Frye, I hope will contact me soon. 36 years for me time to change! I totally understand Dr Macks retiring! Yeah, keeping the same reviews from when it was Dr Macks isn't cool! Not sure how they could or would, since everything has changed! Besides Dr Macks selling to a group (One Dental), even all of the long time employees have changed, all of the decor in the office and in the dental rooms has changed. Didn't explain well enough I feel about what my options were in regards to some oral surgery. They kept pushing implants. That I'm not going to have done. My new dentist very thorough on explanation. Plus new dentist has better cost to me out of pocket after insurance pays. read more

Had filings replaced, even tho I did not know what was being done until the day of my appt.... haven't had feeling or sense of taste ever since which is horrible when u eat and can't tell what you eating. I was told 60 days things should hey better and it's been 61 days and still numbed tongue and no sense of taste....I know this may not be common but it is my experience that I'm living thru at the moment and it is very disheartening read more

Absolutely the BEST dentist ever. Having excessive anxiety with dental work due to facial (jaw) injury I've always been terrified at each appointment. I hadn't been to a dentist for some time. After checking out many, I chose to go to Dr. Macks office. A great hygienist cleaned my teeth and helped with x-rays. Very upbeat office. Dr. Macks checked out my teeth and was very nice and and a positive person. I ended up with two cavities and after I was done with my cleaning they had a cancellation and they offered to take care of my cavities right then. I took it and a Dr Hyun(sp?) did my fillings pretty quickly and it was painless. They also have TV's in the ceiling for a distraction while they work on you. About as positive of an experience as you can have at a dental office I think. read more

I just left dr. Macks after having a root canal. Even though I can't say I left under the best circumstances *root canal* i will say I am a return patient for a reason. I was referred to dr. Macks by my boyfriend last year when I was having issues with my wisdom teeth, I've never been treated as well by any other office as i was at dr. Macks. Got my wisdom teeth out in less than two hours, healed nicely, they even gave follow up calls to make sure i was doing well and get periodic emails asking if there's anything they can help me with. For my root canal they called me this morning to let me know there was a cancelation since they knew I had been in pain and had me come in this afternoon. ALL of the associates I had the pleasure of talking to were incredibly helpful and kind. Seriously the nicest and most professional office I've ever been to!!!! The way they talk about their other patients is so respectful and you can tell they genuinely care about everyone they treat there. Highly highly recommend. He has gone through some staff changes in the front but so far I feel the change has been good because I was never informed of my copays or what my insurance covered and his new staff has been extremly helpful!! This office runs like a factory. There are good hygienists who provide excellent care. The problem is there are "associates" who work as Dentists and you have no idea who they are or their backgrounds. Our minor daughter went in for what was represented as a very small filling. Instead of Dr. Macks doing the work, someone who we had never heard of did her filling without our knowledge or consent. Months of pain ensued and the filling was re-drilled and repeated 2 more times (lacking appropriate anesthesia) resulting in a huge hole that was never documented or explained to us, ever. The resulting irreversible pulpitis required a root canal and full crown and now there is potential for tooth loss. It makes us very angry that after carefully vetting Dr. Macks, we ultimately had no control over who was holding the end of the drill or their professionalism when it came to our childrens' care. read more
