This place is a small office but do not underestimate it. Everyone at this office has a big heart. It can be a friendly hello or a smile! Dr Guzha is very friendly and he is very busy but you can tell he cares about his patients. This week I had my final two wisdom teeth removed! I got so much advice from others to be put to sleep! Meh! I am glad I went to Dr Guzha! He removes wisdom fast! I was so amazed. I did have a stubborn bottom one but he got it! And if I can rate this experience it is a big 10! The first visit impressed me but this week was even better. Listen going to dentist used to put me in panic mode. But Xtracare Dental lessens any anxiety that I had coming in. I brought my favorite blanket and the doctor and his assistant made me very comfortable during procedure. I felt no pain and normal pressure. I bought music to listen to . Directions were explained clearly and I had written directions in case that I forget. Medications were sent to pharmacy very fast. I am still amazed how fast this doctor extracts wisdom teeth! Great employees come from great management. Dr. Guzha has exemplary "beside manners" felt like a friend was working on me, his assistant was friendly both conversed easily while completely no pain surgical extractions. I'm healing up amazingly looking forward to working with him on getting some 3d dentures put in here in a few months. I needed to have 2 wisdom teeth extracted, Dr Guzha was nice, professional, took time to make sure i am numb and comfortable. Had great experience, would not repeat though with teeth extraction, want to keep them all:), however i am coming back for some other treatments done one of them is crown. All crew was nice and helpful. I like that i am able to go there late since my full time job doesn't allowing to go early... Communication is great. I have recommended them to my friend, and if you are looking for great extraction i recommend you visit Xtracare Dental. The Dentist runs back & forth between patients, I was basically confined to a chair in the dentist so couldn't move around to observe but i have doubts the Dentist practiced sterile procedure correctly in the rushed room to room & back again process. I was sent a text message several months after my visit ( a cleaning ) & several months after my insurance paid for the visit & thru this text they told me i owe them 70 sum dollars & cents. That they only gave me a estimate months prior. I asked for paper work specifying that in several months from now how will i no i will not get charged again? That said there is no such paper work. Then they thru some front desk person under the bus as it was there fault for this situation. Currently looking for another Dentist. read more

Just recommended them to a friend and saw these reviews and thought I might put in my two cents. I live less than half a mile from the office so I picked them on a whim, but I've been going here for over 2 years and have only had good experiences. I had an old crown replaced and a few cavities filled as well as my semi-annual check-ups. The staff is always friendly and clean. Even at their busiest I think they do a good job of time management. I've overheard conversations throughout the office and after having been to dentists who are clearly just trying to get you to get as much work done as possible, Dr. G is clearly NOT that kind of dentist. Don't let the outside (or random bad reviews) fool you- this place is clean, friendly, and I'm super happy he's my dentist! read more

Horrible experience. . . A complete shame that a medical professional can be so blatantly compassionless. Dr Guzha advertises that he specializes in caring for patients with "dental anxiety". I found out that this means- if you are so nervous that it is going to put a wrench in his ability to treat you in 10 minutes or less, he will pawn you off ie - refer you to another dentist (that he knows doesn't take your insurance). Before you can even process that you're being tossed to the side, he's already in another room with another patient. I have multiple teeth (4) that are bothersome so yesterday I had an exam and was told that I would need multiple teeth extracted. Dr. Guzha said "I can extract them to get rid of your pain, but you'll probably have no teeth left hahaha". I didn't find it funny but thought maybe I had lost my sense of humor due to my anxiety. Before I had a chance to talk to him about antibiotics and pain control for the 24hrs until I could come back for the extractions Dr. Guzha flew out of the cubicle to the next patient, waving me to the waiting room as he exited. As the receptionist was scheduling my next appointment I asked her to inquire about antibiotics and pain control she rudely rolled her eyes and walked away midsentence. She then came back and tossed me an rx for a couple of pain meds and told me that the dr. said no antibiotics. After a third sleepless night where I began to run a fever and one of my ears has become muffled, I wondered this morning why not even one of my teeth could get a root canal and be saved. I called the office twice to inquire about this. The first time I was told that because my insurance required preauthorization for root canals Dr. Guzha didn't consider it. But I could talk to him about it if I want. I then decided that I definitely didn't want to have my teeth extracted today if there was a chance to save them so I called back to let the receptionist know so that the dr. didn't have his schedule blocked out. Both phone calls the receptionist was rude and did not attempt to hide her annoyance with being bugged. During the last call she rudely told me that I needed to come in and discuss what I wanted to do with the dr. I went in for my appointment this afternoon and when checking in (with the same receptionist from the day before and from both phone calls) I explained, again, that I had decided to not have any extractions today but that I wanted to develop a treatment plan with the dr. The receptionist rudely, unprofessionally and with embarrassing loudness said "what?! Why?!". I then explained that I wanted to save as much of my teeth as possible. She then told me to take a seat and she would inform the dr. After waiting almost 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment Dr. Guzha walked in the cubicle and asked what was going on. As I explained that I didn't want to extract all of my teeth if I didn't have to he interrupted me and walked away to grab something from his "office area" then handed me a referral to a different dentist saying that my anxiety was to much for him. When my husband and I both inquired about what could be done while waiting to be seen by this new dentist Dr. Guzha literally walked away from us waving us away. Both my husband and I are nurses and we have never seen a dr. nor a medical receptionist behave in this manner. I have never been treated with such callous blatant disregard. I am filing a complaint with the DOH first thing Monday morning. Never should a patient be made to feel like a burden or "just a dollar sign". With 4 broken teeth, two infected- one to the point of abscess pain is real and miserable. Pain is the 5th vital sign, Dr. Guzha. Not everyone is seeking. It seems as if your jadedness and annoyance of patients is rubbing off on your office staff as well. As a patient I have a right to know all of my options, especially before doing a procedure as irreversible as extractions. Shame on you. read more

A lost filling turned into a lot of dentist visits with Dr Guzha, orthodontist and two other dentists. I never imagined one tooth could turn into such an ordeal. Dr Guzha was supportive, listened to me and worked hard to find a solution to what turned out to be a complicated situation. Another dentist prescribed me Valium due to me crying out of frustration. Today, Dr Guzha didn't give up, then gave me an honest appraisal that me spending $600 on a crown would be a waste of my money bc it wouldn't stay, just like the others. I appreciate that. He cared. I went here to get a couple teeth pulled I had really bad anxiety about going because I have had BAD experiences with a dentist that is very rough. This guy did a great job made sure I was completely numb and the numbing part didn't even really hurt. he got it done pretty quick and almost pain free. I will be going back here from now on and I probably won't even be to nervous about it. I needed to have 3 teeth extracted (2 wisdom teeth and 1 molar). Dr. Guzha and his assistant made sure that I was comfortable and numbed up good. After about 30 minutes, all 3 teeth were extracted. After the numbing medicine wore off, I have been experiencing little, if no pain, at all. Everyone at Xtracare Dental are very professional and take care of their patients well. This little dental clinic was very clean and organized. Dr Huza and his staff were very polite and had awsome customer service. Unfortunately they dont do preventive care, probably just emergencies.
