One Stop.. my @$$. I took my car in to be diagnosed after it started misfiring on hills/inclines. He called hours later with a few suggestions. (Said I needed new power steering pump, when I had no steering issues whatsoever) So, I authorized the new coils. Picked up my car when he did it was done. Next day, leaving work, car did the SAME thing, so I brought it back. Now, he said it's some valve that needed replacement. $600??? So, I said go ahead. Picked up my car. It drove ok for 2 days, then SAME THING w the misfire. I brought it in for $800 ago. This place is SHEISTY AF. Steer clear. read more

My car broke down on my way to AutoZone to replace the battery . So we called AAA and the tow truck (Rany) took us to the nearby AutoZone shop. They said my battery needed to be replaced but Rany didn't think so. He helped us to test the alternator which was broken. It was Saturday afternoon and most auto shops were closing. Peter is a champion. I went to him for about 3.5 years when I lived in the area and I refer people to him all the time. My first mechanic that I went to regularly. Be respectful and kind because this guy won't rip you off. He works hard and is honest. My friend had a car she drove all the way from PA in 2020. We took it to Peter and he told her "it would be better to buy a new car" because the issues with this car were so bad and to be honest he was absolutely right. That thing was not fit to drive she would've spent thousands fixing it. More than it's value. My old car wouldn't start so I called several auto shops in the area knowing what my car issue was (it was definitely the starter, as determined by my car friends and AAA/Advantage). Out of all the auto shops I called, Peter offered me the best prices, gave no ambiguity in the numbers or process, and clearly answered all my questions. He also was the only person to take my diagnosis seriously and operate off of that. He even allowed me to get off the phone and think about it without pressuring me to decide right then and there. The conversation was impactful for all those reasons, so I decided to take a chance on One Stop Auto Service Center. When I got my car to the shop, Peter promptly took in my car and confirmed it was the starter. Peter then clearly explained what he planned to do and replaced the part I needed. In summary, I was completely in the loop the entire time and I paid exactly what he said I would pay. Also he did some extra things like fix my broken brake light on the dash, refill my brake fluids, and add oil so I really appreciate that! Fast forward 2 hours later, my car runs nice and smooth. One word: Great! Truly great customer service from the moment I called them and requested a quote for my breaks. I mentioned that they had been grinding and Peter told me to come in as soon as possible. I went in to get my car serviced and he offered me a fair price, showed me the parts that were worn out and explained the solution.
