Eric was extremely helpful, informative and patient. He was able to settle my nerves and get me through the entire process. I'm very grateful for the 14-day return policy as well. The only process that is ridiculously lengthy is how long claims take to get you a replacement.

    I went to the Apple Store at the plaza today for a repair of the back of my iPhone 17. The back of…read morethe phone had shattered. It is the day after Christmas so I already understood that there may be longer than normal wait times and I was fully prepared for that. I also didn't make an appointment online, so again I was understanding of the possible lengthy wait. When I got there, I showed the employee that checked me in the back of the phone and he saw it was clearly shattered. He told me the next available appointment with the technician to repair the phone is at 4:30 pm. It was 2:45 pm at that time. I decided to wait. I walked around the plaza until around 4:00 pm and then checked back in. Around 5:15 pm, the technician came over to look at the phone. He looked at my phone for about 5 minutes and then checked his schedule and said they don't have any availability today to repair my phone. My frustration is the fact that I thought that the initial appointment I made for 4:30 pm was for the technician to repair the phone. I did not know that the "greeter" puts you on one list and then the technician puts you on another. I did not know that the employees don't communicate when the appointment is made. So I waited nearly 3 hours for the technician to look at the phone for 5 minutes and then say he did not have time to repair it. I asked to speak with a manager just to share that it would be great if the greeter could've mentioned their process before I waited 3 hours. I was understanding the impression that the appointment at 4:30 would be for the technician to fix the phone, not for the technician to check his schedule and tell me if there was time. Had I known that the initial appointment would mean that I will also get on another list to wait and possibly not be seen at all, I would've made a different decision. I would've liked the opportunity to make an informed decision. I explained this to the "team lead," Brian. He was immediately very dismissive. He even at one point asked me "Well, what do you want me to do?" I've spent a ton of money with Apple and at this specific location. I was hoping Brian would be more understanding and acknowledge how their process could be frustrating. Instead, he was dismissive from the start before I could even explain to him the problem and condescending as I explained my concern and frustration. Again, I understand that the holiday season is a busy time and I was fully prepared to wait. I just didn't know that their process involved being on two separate lists and that there was a possibility I wouldn't be helped at all. I thought that when I got on the first list, that was my appointment to actually get the help I needed and get the phone fixed. I think that the check-in process could be a lot more transparent. At the very least, the team lead could've been more understanding and less condescending and dismissive. I don't plan to go to this location again.

    I wanted to give a better rating, really I did! The guys who work here were pleasant and seem to…read moreknow their stuff. But... the communication piece was totally missing. Brought in a very old laptop for repair. After several weeks without hearing anything, finally called them to check in on the status only to find that during a customer software upgrade I had been lost in the shuffle. A dozen days later, called back only to find out that they were still working on options and would call back. No call came so I called again and was told that since our laptop was so old it was not really worth fixing (not terribly surprising, but I wanted to try!). As I mentioned the guys here are nice, so we brought in a second laptop for repair and decided to sell the first one to them for parts. (Recycling at it's best!) This time around I still found that if we didn't call them, we had no idea what was going on. In the end the second laptop was fixed to our satisfaction but we didn't know how much it was going to cost until we came to pick it up. When it came time to settle up the credit for the first laptop and the repair on the second, I noticed the coupon we had brought in when we dropped off the first laptop had been lost. Luckily when I pointed out it was missing from the final receipt they made good on the original offer. I will be checking yelp for new reviews before I came to this place again hoping to see there has been improvement in these two areas: -Communicate with your customers on a timely and regular basis -Clearly communicate (at least estimates) of what the cost will be

They didn't once say there was nothing they could do, they figured it out regardless of how long it took. Recommending to all my friends that need any phone help.
