I am always happy to support local businesses, especially when they are very transparently vegan…read morefriendly, but Crave was a miss for me. I tried the sweet potato tacos (vegan cheese and chipotle mayo, unclear why the latter was included but it is vegan), tostones, which came with the vegan mayo and the fall harvest salad, which I veganized by asking them to hold the goat cheese. They put vegan cheese on it instead, IMO it would have been better without. The inclusion of so much fat, especially with the tacos, made the dishes really heavy, and they desperately needed some citrus to balance out the meal. The sweet potato was slightly raw and crunchy, at first I thought they were roasted carrots but they were in fact, sweet potatoes. The seasoning was fine. Portions were ok, though I would have preferred to get more tostones (4-5 slices for $5) for the price. The salad tasted suspiciously of meat. I know this is not a vegetarian establishment but it made me concerned about cross contamination. I would not go out of my way to eat here but the service was nice. This is one of those reviews where I wish I could give partial stars: 2.75 stars.

The fact that I can now order straight from them online is great!! The one time I got delivery, it was timely (though to be fair, I only live like a five minute drive away) and the driver was super nice. I thought I was addicted to the quesa tacos, but then I met the canoas and I'm lost forever. The perfect combination of savory and salty and sweet, a mixture of textures because of it being lightly fried plus the plantain vs the meat vs the rice, plus cheese?? Swoon. I put a little habanero-jalapeño hot sauce on and it's heaven. It also reheats well, which is great because I'm small and they're very filling. Highly recommended. (And on the off chance you find yourself disappointed for any reason, do go again!!)

After driving past Buns on Wheels for the past few months I decided that it was time to try it out…read more This little food truck located in front of D & D Auto Parts has a decent menu ranging from hot dogs and burgers to kielbasa and Portuguese bifanas. The woman working in the truck didn't really engage much, but she made an incredible hamburger and order of fresh cut french fries. From the time I order until the time I started stuffing my face was under 5 minutes. I was surprised how delicious my food was and happy that I decided to stop. It was nice to sit at their picnic table to eat especially since it was so warm out. The only awkward part was that they were so close to the main road, and I felt like I was on exhibit. Overall, this is a great food truck which is super clean and makes a ton of great food. You need to give it a shot if you are in the street food mood.

Good food truck option in an area with (sadly) no food truck culture to speak of. Nothing…read moreimpressive about the dogs, burgers or fries, but you're coming here for something else. This lady is off-the-boat Portuguese and makes Bifanas to order. These are Portuguese pork cutlet sandwiches and hers are first rate. She's got pork marinating and throws it on the griddle with onions, peppers and garlicky butter sauce (I believe, you can barely understand her so I'm not sure!) which are finished with cheese on a squishy roll. It's customary to slather this up with some hot sauce and it is DELICIOUS. For about $7 you can combo it with some very ordinary fries from the freezer and a soda. I've been grabbing these by the handful for years whenever I have out of town guests and they never disappoint. I'm less impressed by her chourico so I just stick to Bifanas. She'll offer you a loyalty punch card that you should grab to earn your free sandwiches. Like any good food truck you'll find a small line of people out front on any given day in any weather. Don't just drive by her on the rotary in the center of town, stop and get your Bifana on!
