Their price is fair, but the quality of workmanship is low. They gave us an estimate without completely checking our plumbing situation. After installing the cabinets, we realized that they completely forgot about the second drainage. I brought it up to their attention, and they increased the original quote by $1000! Their plumbers are not experienced at all. Sam is always in a hurry, but Elli is more professional. After the job was finished, neither came to check their workers job, and only were interested in collecting the balance due. read more

I used One Stop Shop several years ago when they were in Duarte to replace my carpet. They did such good work, I turned to them again for our kitchen remodel and flooring in the rest of the house. Last time I worked with Eli. This time I got to work with Sam and he was great! He is very knowledgeable and offers his opinion and expertise, but is not pushy if you are trying to go in a different direction. Once we picked out our cabinet, countertop, backsplash, and flooring, things got into motion pretty quickly. They have a different set of guys who specialize in different trades and Sam was a great project manager coordinating them all. He was also very involved in the entire process and was visiting the job site regularly. The coolest part was that the guys who installed our flooring were the same ones who had installed our carpet several years back. The fact that there is longevity and stability with his workers spoke very highly of him as an employer and the company as a whole. As with all home improvement projects, there are always surprises once you open the walls and some delays, but Sam helped us work through it all. My husband and I went in looking for tile for our bedroom addition. The man kind of looked at us like "why are you here" he finally asked "do you have a contractor?" And we said "yes, we actually close to being done, it's time to choose wall tile and flooring" So I feel as soon as we said we already were working with someone he gave up on the sale. I looked on a manufacturer's website for the sizes of corner pieces for my tile so I ordered the right amount. Daniel talked to me and we discussed what I needed. My order was ready the next day. When I got the tile home, opened the box and measured, the tiles were smaller (12" instead od 18"). The manufacturer's website and boxes were wrong so I needed more tile. One Stop Shop ordered another box and I got it the next day. Although it was the manufacturer's fault and not One Stop Shop's, Daniel refused to take my money for the additional box. 2. They have a huge selection. 3. Their prices beat everyone I compared with. You don't have to ask if they will match or beat a price. They just give you the best price. We looked around for a good 4 weeks for someone to redo our kitchen. We had gotten 4 quotes but happen to drive by One Stop Shop and decided to see if the name had any substance. Upon meeting Sam we were pretty impressed by his knowledge and design style. We more or less knew what we wanted but with his help the picture of our new kitchen really came into focus. Pro(s): 1. Price was definitely a huge pro for us. His quote was not the lowest but the cabinet qualities he showed us in the showroom really sealed the deal. After we had our kitchen done we invited friends and family over and we heard from 2 other families who had their cabinets redone by the BIG BOXS that we paid a REALLY good price. 2. Speed. Cabinets were completed in 2 days and the Countertop in 1 day. And one additional day for the trim, and other minor touch ups. 3. Communication. Their prices are fair, their work is OUTSTANDING, they were willing to work with my schedule (which, in both cases, involved a VERY short window in which to get A LOT of work done), and they worked within my budget. Most recently, I worked with Sam who treated me more like a friend than a customer. He took A LOT of time helping me pick out tile for the kitchen backsplash, quartz for the kitchen counter, and granite for my fireplace. He listened to my ideas, got a sense of my taste, and helped me to design a kitchen that not only looks amazing but reflects me!
