Another day another boba spot with meee. Besides drinks, they also offer amazing food. That's all in a place we can ask for! I had: 1. Jasmine green milk tea with creme brulee topping 2. One zo fruit tea 3. Potato hot dog 4. Monster double hot dog 5. Lemon pepper wings

Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen wanted to try something new. We enjoyed the many offering! The food is fried and crunchy! A place to treat yourself. We also found the elusive and popular fruit ice creams (see photos). The end.

Fantastic boba. I always love a strong tea flavor in drinks and the boba itself is chewy and fresh. Brown Sugar Milk Tea 5/5 Strong tea flavor with a nice brown sugar taste. Neither overpowers each other and it's not drowned out by milk. I would get this again Mango Smoothie 5/5 Got this with the brown sugar boba. Nice contrast of hot boba and the ice cold mango. Flavor isn't lacking here Sweet Potato Hot Dog 5/5 Classic Korean hot dog with rice batter and sweet potato on the outside. Just as expected, sweet and delicious. You have to order in person if you want food, but there's a kiosk for bubble tea. Nice and casual spot without many people coming in and out. Makes it a nice place to chat or catch up with anyone

Putting this review as an extra note. They are very busy everyday with a rush at around 8-8:30pm, so not a good time to go if you want to just get a drink and go. Also, taro boba was a good replacement for the brown sugar boba. It just wasn't as good but not bad. Get drinks with no ice if drinking the next day.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite boba spots. We do boba runs at work at least once a week. The first time we tried One Zo it was a little bit pricier than our other usual spots. After trying One Zo then one of our other usual spots the next day, the difference in quality was undeniable! The drinks and boba are so much better than all of the other places we frequent, everyone always only wants One Zo now. Totally worth it! I really like the One Zo boba (3 kinds). On a recent run I tried one of the hot dogs, it was really good and super crispy!

I tried the roasted rice milk tea this time with 50% sweetness and taro boba. The drink is mild, but the warm boba really added an interesting dimension to the beverage.

    Sweet potato and original

Tried different Korean corn dogs with the hot Cheeto topping and they were all pretty good. Usually I only like the cheese ones but their sausage ones were good too. Tried out a lychee slushy ( regular sweetness) which was yummy but would probably get extra sweet next time. Chill ambiance inside.

Good tea but we got very little and the majority was ice, even though we asked for light ice. Almost 20 for ice, and this was after some had already melted. Teas are good.

So that's why I'm leaving a review (see photos) While I'm here picking up an order, so far the customer service and ambiance match, and telling by the amount of customers they have, all tables are full so the food is good. Each table has 4-2 people and they have aesthetically pleasing LED lights as well as a projector screen playing a game like theme on the wall! Omg! Talk about going all out and to the next level! That's good for staff to watch the wall too while working keeping the vibes chill! That's dope! I just came from the gym, don't mind me lol even tho I look good haha a free hot dog on them if you write a real review too! They did give me a free hotdog and cheese sauce (didn't like the sauce) so that's cool... the wait time is 15 mins tho! Thanks I'll come back here to get on my laptop and chill.

The boba here is pretty good, I got the jasmine green milk with normal sweetness and it was a little too sweet for me so I just suggest getting a lower sweetness if you order it. Overall, I thought the drinks here are super expensive, my drink costed more than $7.

Service was really nice! The staff was friendly and helpful. I tried OneZo in Ventura and it was so good, so we came in with an expectation. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't taste good at all at this location. We ordered: 1. Roasted rice milk tea with taro boba ($7) - 1/10 - the tea and the boba were so bland. There's no flavor and very watered down. I got 50-70% sweet, but it didn't taste sweet at all. The boba wasn't chewy and doesn't have any taro flavor. 2. One Zo milk tea with honey boba ($7) - 6/10 - it was mediocre. Not good and not bad. If you crave a basic milk tea, this will do the job. Boba wasn't chewy, but not fresh. It was a bit stale and wasn't warm. 3. Oreo matcha brûlée milk tea with boba ($7.70) - 6/10 - it was also very mediocre. 4. One Zo fruit tea with lychee jelly ($7.70) - 1/10 - we found a bug in our drink, which is very disturbing especially since it was a fruity drink.. this is a restaurant hygiene issue. Would not recommend this location or come back.

    Evelyn C.

One of the staff is friendly and the drinks are pretty good so I have been coming back from time to time. However, today I found that a 20% tip was automatically added to my credit card; I would not know if I didn't look at my receipt. I would have tipped but I do not appreciate it being automatically added without indicating it upfront. It's deceiving. Will not come back.

One Zo Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba Peachnada with One Zo Boba
    Ivy D.

Boba is great here but I think it is pricey ($1.25 for One Zo Boba and $1 for Brown Sugar Boba). I love the texture and how fresh it came out. They were out of honey boba when we ordered. The One Zo boba is made of tapioca and has a fruity flavor to it. The One Zo Milk Tea tasted like chocolate milk. I love the Peachnada. It had chamoy and tajin with blocks of peaches. It also came in a cute cup! Would definitely come back for that

Ask the Community - One Zo/ Myungrang Hotdog

Does anyone know if the hot dogs are made of pork, ALL beef or mixed?

We do have all beef currently #4, 12,13. The rest are all meats.

This place is listed today as having outdoor seating. Is it still available? If it is, is it covered or heated? How many people can sit there? / April 8, 2023

No sorry. We don’t have outdoor seating. We will update the info now

What are the hot dogs battered in?

Korean corn dog batter is made out of the usual flour, salt, baking powder, milk, and eggs but they also add a substantial amount of sugar. There is sugar in the batter itself and they offer rolling the cooked corndog in sugar after cooking.…

What are the ingredients for the ones so fruit tea?? I just curious since my child has fruit allergies

We use passion fruit and orange with a tint of watermelon and lime and also green tea.

Is there non dairy milk (almond or oak) options?

Yes oat milk or almond milk

They changed the name subtle enough to avoid a lawsuit, but the changes in the menu and the quality of the drinks are far more drastic, and it's not for the better. Gone are the traditional teas and sesame jelly that made Hechalou so famous. These options are replaced by cheap imitations of Starbucks' frothy drinks that sound good on paper but taste like iced piss with sugar. The drinks are excessively sweet, a mortal sin by Asian standard, and they have a generic taste that might as well have one item on the entire menu. Alas, to get a sip of the old favorites, now I have to drive across town instead of stop by after work. A petite Asian woman wearing heavy makeup took my order and immediately seemed unhappy to be there and very dismissive. She told me they were out of golden boba even though I could see other drinks coming out with it, so I settled for crystal boba instead. I understand stores run out of things, but the communication was already off. What really irritated me was the ube foam and the employees unprofessional service. I ordered it and was charged extra for it, but when I got my drink, it wasn't there. When I asked her about it, she told me they were out and then asked, "do you want coconut foam or a refund?" If you already knew you were out, why would you charge me for it in the first place? I wanted the ube foam and golden boba I ordered, not random substitutions after I had already paid. Another woman in a red shirt with curly hair then told us that to fix it, they would have to refund the drink and then have us pay again to reorder it. I understand the employees probably didn't create that system, but it's one of the most unnecessarily complicated refund processes I've dealt with. The store also seems to be out of something pretty often, which I know isn't always the employees' fault. What bothered me most about this entire interaction was the complete lack of accountability. A simple, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have charged you for that since we're out. Let me fix it," would have changed the entire interaction. Instead, she knowingly charged me for something that was unavailable, didn't tell me, gave me the drink without it, and only addressed it because I noticed. Even then, there was no real acknowledgment that she had made a mistake. And despite how frustrating the situation was, I didn't yell at anyone, cause a scene, or blow up on her. I stayed patient and respectful throughout the interaction. I think it's completely reasonable to expect that same level of professionalism in return.

The donuts were soft and fresh, the toppings were generous, and each flavor actually tasted like what it was supposed to be. The Banana Pudding was creamy without being overly sweet, and the Lemon Poppy had a really nice lemon flavor. I also ordered the Zombie Coffee with banana cream. If you like your coffee STRONG, this is the one! The banana cream added a nice sweetness and flavor without taking away from the coffee. What really impressed me was the selection.
