I always had unexpected added on fees. Right after I had my baby when I was 26 years old and broke me and my at the time fiance and my infant went into the bank to try to straighten out a matter. We owed them $35 for some added fee. They told me all I had to do was pay it and we would be fine to use her account again. However the lady on the other side of the counter from me sitting at the table quite large overset heavyweight lady. With a pinky ring on I remember. Just took the money that we paid to open the account and closed our account and told us she did not want our business. Because we didn't have enough money in our account ever. The shittiest service I've ever gotten from the crappiest representative I could have gotten. Credit Union West is way better. Much more professional staff that won't add unwarranted charges to your account. I hope that lady gets fired. Nobody should wear a toe ring to work. read more

However I wanted to speak about and concerning two staff members who have recently help not only myself but also my family member with One AZ Credit Union Services offered to all their customers. Both staff members are Credit Union staff that help with accounts and loans. I wanted to open a new account when I walked in no one greeted me seemed very unfriendly. I saw a clipboard with other people's names on it and a man sitting waiting so I added my name to clipboard and sat down to wait. Still no one said anything to me as I waited they chatted at there desks and walked by I finally asked a teller if I was in the correct area to open an account she responded yes and explained they were under staffed. I felt very unappreciated and if understaffed why was everyone standing around visiting and not greeting the people who they walk by who are obviously were waiting for service. I dare you to try calling this credit Union. I have called three branches this morning and have had to listen to 4 minutes of advertising messages (at each call) and then transferred to a number which says "please leave a message". When I called three other banks I was able to call the branch directly and talk to a live body. Pretty pathetic. The reason for two stars: when I visit in person i get friendly courteous service. The phone protocols here rates ZERO stars. Same day: The Credit union told me through YELP to send a direct message and A manager will contact me. I sent a direct message to them at around noon. It's 5:55 pm and have yet to get any response. I do not need a response now I was able to get what I needed at Country Bank, right next door to your Branch office. NOTE TO AZONE: Being friendly and courteous is great but if I can't do business over the phone when I am out of town what good is your courteous, friendly service ?? Extremely poor customer service at corporate level. I have been a member there for over 10 years..on hold for over 40 minutes yesterday to ask for assistance for an error this bank One Az" caused over the Labor day weekend to my account. The customer service rep, told me to fix it myself and it wasn't their problem or error.and actually it was...she just.did not want to deal with it, I asked to speak with manager, and was put on hold another 20 min. I just hung up. I am moving my business elsewhere. read more

Worse than a bank. More fees than Bank of America. No warning for overdrafts. Chase gives you until midnight or even later to fix an overdraft. read more
