Then almost at the end of the check they somehow couldn't verify the check number and claimed that they had called Western Union multiple times to get it checked. So I called Western Union and was on hold for 20 minutes with people waiting around and eventually just left their store because all the western union departments were closed. Don't promise people you will help them if you can't deliver. This is a money order REFUND because of a non cashed money order reimbursement. At no fault of my own is it a completely Uncashable check but they need to be honest, not get peoples hopes up then when I called the CHECK WAS COMPLETELY FINE so why they couldn't verify it? The atmosphere when I went there is very pleasant and professional. They cash all types of checks here with all types of ID. In my case they also had to verify the check was good and called the person who wrote it. So that is just a heads up. The cash payroll checks etc government checks I believe and also personal handwritten checks which is what I had. Which also was an out-of-state check. The lady I dealt with which unfortunately I did not get her name was very professional kind and efficient. They do charge a fee for cashing a check of course and it varies based upon the check itself- payroll personal etc. You can go to their website and they show their rates and what other types of services they do based upon your state that you're in because they have to follow the law of that certain state that they are licensed in. They also have brochures telling you what kind of services they have etc and I believe they also do Western Union and they sell stamps. I am very grateful that there is such a good check cashing place with no judgment. I would highly recommend going here to cash your checks if you don't have any other means to do so.
