We chose Toyota of Renton because of your strong reputation and positive reviews, not because you…read morehad the lowest price. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of that reputation. At delivery, the truck was not properly detailed. There was a dirty towel left inside, the center console was unclean, bird droppings on the exterior, and the truck bed had not been cleaned. For a vehicle that had been reserved for a week and given the amount we paid, this level of preparation was unacceptable. We were not provided a walkthrough of the truck's features, no guidance on the Toyota app, and no explanation of how to set up payments. We also were not informed at the time of purchase that we could upgrade rims and tires by paying the difference -- something we only discovered later through the service manager, after the opportunity had passed. While Bradley was professional and polite, the overall sales process lacked clear communication and follow-through. After an accessory upgrade, we were not properly advised about the window tinting process and only learned not to roll the windows down from a small Post-it note. Most disappointing, after Keith, the Sales Manager, personally asked us to leave a review, I emailed him twice to address these concerns and received no response over several months. That lack of accountability reinforced our concerns about the overall customer experience. We expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and attention to detail.

The service department really messed me up last year with two appointments being unfulfilled…read morebecause they stacked the cars on a short staff. So I had to go home, twice. I tried them once again this week and they bent over backwards to make it right. Now, why did I only give it a 3 stars? Because the General Manager of the dealership refused to call me back when I have him my number, told him my husband and I purchased 5 cars from them in the past. He never called back. I went in and stood in the showroom floor for 10 minutes while several people told me they'd go get him. After 10 minutes I finally tracked someone and he had already left. SO, after purchasing FIVE cars from Burien Toyota, I will go to another dealership for my trade-in. 2015 XLE Camry 59,000 miles. The General Manager can take his crappy customer service and shove it. I'll take me trade-in elsewhere. But I'll still try the service departmemt as they did me right this time and the location is convenient.

When my husband and I went there a few months ago, we were greeted by Jimmy, one of the managers, who quickly connected us with Matheus, our sales associate. They were both incredibly friendly, respectful, and never made us feel pressured. They let us take the Toyota Land Cruiser out for a test drive, answered all of our questions, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free instead of the usual dealership circus . My husband ended up buying a Toyota Tundra, and they made the entire process easy and enjoyable from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Matheus. He's funny, honest, very down-to-earth, and made the entire car-buying experience comfortable and enjoyable. I would absolutely buy another vehicle from them again!

When I took out my side mirror a few years ago, they were able to get it fixed within a week. Logan in the service department is our go-to, and he always takes really good care of any services or repairs to my car. He is super friendly and whenever I have questions or concerns about my car, he makes me feel heard and validated and answers them thoroughly. Their service team always goes above and beyond to make my car look and run like brand new. I just wish they would plug my dash cam back in when they're done so I'm not driving around with it not recording... Yesterday, when I needed advice on how to remove paint transfer from my car, I called the store first to see if I could get a recommendation over the phone. A sales department rep told me I could text the service department pictures, and they would be able to help me. When I texted the service department however, I was shocked at how abrasive and unhelpful the employee, Sophia, was. She even gave me the name and phone number of a different place to go. When I explained that I had never taken my car to anyone other than Toyota and that I was worried about a third party damaging my paint, she continued to tell me she couldn't offer me any help. So I ended up driving all the way to Toyota from where I live in Issaquah because y'all have literally never let me down, and I knew that if I went there, I would be able to find some help. The greeter outside was so kind. He actively listened to me before directing me to the parts department, telling me they could definitely help me. Everyone in the parts department was so nice and welcoming, and told me exactly what to do for my car and where to get what I needed. All I wanted was a recommendation that wouldn't damage my paint, and I was so grateful to get to talk to people who were so friendly and empowering. Scott even went above and beyond, going to double-check with the detailers to see if they had any advice on clay bars or anything to help me with the paint transfer. He even came out to look at my car with a microfibre cloth to see if he could help out. After being so frustrated at not getting help, I appreciated how he reassured me about how to get the paint transfer off and made sure that I was confident in my next steps.

I wanted to make an informed decision, but I felt like I was pressured and the manager came out to try and sell me on a deal that was way over what it should have been. They also were going to send me some information about the quote after the meeting but I never received it even after calling the sales representative.

I took the day off of work and came in to look at Toyotas last Friday in the middle of the day…read more What's funny is I didn't even realize I had bumped into the General Manager, Erika Olson, and I was able to laugh and joke around with her. Beyond that, Erika was sitting at the front desk and was the first person I ran into. Which is wild to me, since most car dealership GMs aren't that easily accessible or reachable. I ended up working with Evan Olivier and I had one of the best car shopping experiences I've ever had. Evan was extremely personable and real with me. He mentioned the extended warranty one time, I mentioned I wasn't interested and that I had a bad experience with extended warranties in the past, and he didn't bring it up again. He didn't try to push unwanted services or products on me and respected my position on upsold products. I can't say the same for other dealerships... Otherwise, we were able to test drive 4Runners and Tacomas and I learned a ton about Toyota's the day that I visited. Evan was extremely knowledgeable about the different generations and capabilities they had and Evan being a Seattleite, knew what driving a Tacoma or 4Runner would be like in the city because he owned one, it wasn't just word vomit to be more agreeable with me. Instead of doing this crazy test drive, we parallel parked the Tacoma outside the dealership, we reversed into a parking spot, and we even focused on the turn radius like I'd experience in a Seattle parking garage, we almost took it to my apartment complex to check garage door heights to see if it would actually fit in my apartment complex, but phoned ahead and my apartment manager let me know it was a no-go for that specific 4Runner. Evan and I literally tested the exact things you need to check out when you live in Seattle and management was 100% okay with doing this odd check I had requested like taking it to my apartment complex. A+ for effort! The warranty transparency, pricing, knowledge, and information Evan shared with me and the experience overall was worth dropping a note here for others to review. I hope this has given you, the reader (yes you), reading this now the confidence in choosing Toyota of Seattle for your next vehicle and working with Evan Olivier to buy your next vehicle!

I recently purchased a 2026 Toyota Crown Signia and discovered that an $800 security add-on was slipped into my contract without my knowledge or consent. Despite this being a brand-new flagship vehicle, the dealership has flatly refused to rectify the coating issue or address a manufacturing defect in the perforated leather upholstery. I am currently out $2,799 for unauthorized charges and failed services. I have already escalated this matter to the O'Brien Auto Group corporate office and the Washington State Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. My husband and I drive very differently, and Casey created specific test drive routes for each of us. He offered a more dynamic route for my husband and a calm, low traffic route for me since I am a more anxious driver. Had to get it towed literally right after they put on the plates. The mechanics we towed to don't even know how this could happen. The Toyota lake city service center also put the plates on wrong, straight up just drilled the plastic instead of setting them so they started to fall off too. Avoid at all costs. This would've killed us today if we were on the highway. Something this catastrophic should have been caught when they serviced and sold the vehicle. This is a catastrophic failure and it's illegal to sell a car that isn't road worthy. They also have been telling us they'll give us a call back and never did. We've called multiple times about this. Edit: currently talking with them about how to resolve
