I selected customer representative on the phone. After the employee took ALL of my personal identifying information, the employee said let me get you a representative, and she put me back in the phone que. This happened a total of three times. Basically, the employees are taking personal information and not providing any services. This is a red flag for this business. If I get any violations to my identity or my financial records, I WILL PROVIDE LAW ENFORCEMENT OF COMMUNITY FIRST'S PRACTICES. The employees are LAZY, LAZY, LAZY!

Atm machines and branches located throughout the city. I've been doing business with them since 1983 and haven't really had any bad experiences, that I recall. Ohhhhh.... well, there was one thing. When I refinanced my home, the process did take a lot longer than they originally said. I had to call and keep on them to speed up the process. They said it would take 30 days, ... it took a little over 90.

The teller informed me that the system for producing cards was down; however, the San Marco (Hendricks) branch could assist me with my request. The San Marco branch was very helpful and resolved my issue, thanks to Vanessa Akans. However, I found it concerning that the Riverside branch had been experiencing a problem with card production for about a week, while the Hendricks branch was able to resolve my issue in just a few hours. I hope someone is addressing the card production issue at the Riverside branch. Thank you, Mr. Wilson

We're talking 10-14 days here. Not acceptable. Recently my check card keeps getting shut off by regions fraud protection, but the bank doesn't give me a heads up and then afterwards refuses to explain why the card was deactivated. The last straw came when a check was returned nsf, even when money was in my account. I had to deal with that embarrassment, and then to top it off, after I repaid the entire amount, regions put the check through my acct 2 weeks later. And now I can't get anyone on the phone to fix it. The app has no way to address problems and last time I called customer service, I waited 45 minutes to talk to someone in India that could barely understand me, and was incapable of providing any assistance.

This place met all of my immediate needs. I absolutely love the environment. Very nice decor with a water display to balance the modern design. Feels like a five-star hotel lobby. It's nice. If you ever get a chance, go up to the higher floors and look down. Some of those offices have the best views of the river city. So worth stealing a peak. It will make you appreciate Jacksonville more. 5-STARS

I am also considered self-employed (10-99) which makes it even more difficult for a person in my position to get a car loan. In 2005 I purchased a vehicle from City Mitsubishi with the help of my father, who agreed to co-sign at the time. Since then I have hoped to one day be able to purchase a vehicle on my own without having to depend on friends or family to help me get it done! Although my credit recovery has fallen short of where I was hoping it would be at this time, I still felt the need to attempt to purchase a vehicle in my name only, and free up that debt for my father. After a number of emails, phone calls and visits to dealerships I came to accept the suggestions that I just could not qualify for a car loan base on my current situation. With that, I considered the old standby..... "Buy Here Pay Here" approach. I visited multiple "Guaranteed Financing" dealerships in Jacksonville, FL and even though I did not like what I was hearing, I was minutes away from paying 30% down on a used vehicle with outrageous miles and no warranty just so I could get into a different vehicle. Then I remembered City Mitsubishi. I remembered how much they helped me out 7 1/2 years ago when I was in a very difficult situation and I gave them a call out of a last ditch effort before I threw away a lot of money on an unreliable used car. I was up front an honest about my credit and current situation while on the phone with the Sales Representative Mike Boucher. He encouraged me to come in and give him a chance, so I did without any expectations. At the end of the day, City Mitsubishi along with Lon Fanniel and Mike Boucher did what everyone else said they could not. Not only did they get me approve for a vehicle, but in a short period of time I drove off the lot with a brand new one! Before you settle for something you don't want and pay way too much for it, give City Mitsubishi a chance. They helped me in 2005 and again in 2012. And when it comes time to buy another vehicle there is no doubt where I will go first.

Peggy is especially good. She is always sincerely eager to help. I have only had one claim since signing up with the Denny Doyle office. They resolved the claim with zero stress to me. I have found this to be the norm for most State Farm offices as I have policies in other states with two other offices. There is cheaper insurance, but I hesitate to make a change, lest I lose the reason I have insurance in the first place: That is to have someone who will "have my financial back" when I need them.

I switched to this CU from All In. I was hoping for better service, but this place may be worse…read morethan All In. I was trying to make an online purchases, they sent/text me a verification code to verify it was me, I put the code in, and the card was declined. However, when I went to the Navy app to check my balance and transactions, they claimed the transaction went through. The transaction did NOT go through on my end or the airlines ends. When I called to dispute the $1700 transaction because it DIDN'T go through. They informed me it can take up to 120 days to get my money back. I don't have 120 days to fix YOUR screw up. I need to buy the tickets NOW. These people were NOT helpful when trying to correct their wrong doing. Back to All In I go. I highly recommend any other CU over these guys. I want to add: All In will replace any disputed funds back into your acct while they investigate. Navy refused to do that.

I'm surprised by some of the negative statements as all my family and many friends use NFCU and wouldn't dare go elsewhere. Always great. I've been hacked twice and NFCU was quick to stop the stupidity, take control and issue me new cards, get my funds restored VERY fast, and get us back to normal.
