Once I had the vehicle I started noticing lots of issues especially underneath of the hood All of the wiring under the hood was just hanging and dangling everywhere nothing was put back into the push clips fenders were completely loose and missing bolts, headlights broken and missing bolts, The entire front bumper was loose and missing bolts, headliner was taken down and not reinstalled correctly missing bolts, most of the paint work they did is peeling because they did not prep the areas properly just painted over clear coat, and so many other problems I've only had the truck for about 5 months and I keep finding more and more stuff wrong as does the Ford dealer when I take it in for service. Would not recommend buying or doing any business with these people. Dishonest they try to put a Band-Aid on shit and get it out the door quickly no pride in what they do. In the beginning they were good to the point she purchased a extended maintance program. She took her car in the beginning of June before she drove out to Ca. She wanted then to check her fluids, filters,and oil change. When she got to Ca she asked if I would take her car for a drive since it didn't feel right. The car vibrated all over the place I took it to our local tire store for them to check the tires out. They found that almost all the weights on the tires were gone. I checked the fluids which were all low I checked the air filter and noticed a K&N filter I placed in her car before she left to go back there was not there also the cabin filter was very dirty. When she returned she had to get another oil change and told the service guy what took place in Ca. Telling him about the tires which he's response was I don't believe that happened. Ummm excuse it did I was standing there when they took the tires off and there was no weights. Also meantioned regarding the 80.00 K&N filter which was brand new and there a sticker on the box not to remove it. Nothing didn't say a word not offered to reimburse the money lost with what they took out and I had to repurchase for her. Then You get to the cabin filter which was black and covered in leaves leaves from the house she is staying at. After she told me what took place when she got back getting it serviced I wanted to file a complaint regarding all these issues. I have called no call back went on line and filed a complaint NOTHING. So now since shel be back there for a little longer she is looking for a new mechanic to wrk on her car. Since this place dropped the ball and practically called her a lier.

The sale person appears to be noce because he want o sale a car. Theere are a few stuff that was promised to complete. However, aAfter I drove the car off the lot, I never heard from them. I sent email, left phone message. I have not heard from anyone from Grote. There are a few things that my friend and I found after I got the car home. I try to contact the sale person that sold the car, via phone call, email, but there is no responses. I don't feel like Grote Automotive treat me well. I have been treated well by onther car dealer. I believe this dealer needs to do better job when dealing with custommers.

Nor did he explain what the warranty covered. He admitted later, when questioned, we didn't have to take the Grote warranty, but it bothered us so much, we almost didn't buy the car. Thankfully, the bank manager who processed our loan explained the warranty her bank could offer us instead, so we purchased through her. This small act from Anthony felt very shady and could have lost Grote the sale. Because of this, I don't know if we'll purchase from Grote in the future.
