-- Good drinks, friendly service, but restroom cleanliness needs attention I stopped by Boba Lust in Federal Way and really enjoyed my drink -- fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. However, the public restroom was in poor condition during my visit (dirty surfaces, visible stains, and general neglect). While restrooms aren't the main reason people come here, they can be a reflection of overall cleanliness standards. If the same level of care was applied to the restroom as to the drinks and customer service, this place could easily be a 5-star stop. Great product, great people -- but I hope management makes cleanliness a higher priority.

I got the jasmine milk tea with regular sugar, regular ice, Boba, and rainbow jelly. First off the drink tasted like water with sugar. It had no flavor and the boba were hard and undercooked, and also had no flavor. This is the second time I try this place. Just go to happy lemon across the street. It's way better and same price.

Had a great Yelp elite experience here. The menu is extensive and lots of great choices. You can customize the drink as well. I got the Thai green milk tea with lychee jelly. The drinks were made great and tasted good. The staff was very nice and friendly. There is some seating in the boba shop. There is a good amount of parking in the complex as well. I would come to this boba shop again and highly recommend these guys.

It was our first time at BobaLust last night! We were in the area and craving milk tea and found this spot on Yelp. We ordered the cuddles on the beach smoothie and OG milk tea with boba. My milk tea was great, I liked how you could actually taste the tea. I got it with 50% sugar so it was just the right amount of sweetness for me. The boba wasn't the best, it was kind of hard. The smoothie was good but way too sweet for me - the good thing about this place is that you can adjust the sweetness and ice level to your liking. For service, you order at the counter and they'll call your number when your order is ready. There's a lot of space inside but not many tables (maybe 3 or 4?) so it's definitely more a grab and go spot!

Not sure what all the lust is about. Dark, small emtpy container vibe. No seating has not a hangout, just to-go. Waited a moment for an employee to pop out. Tea was undrinkably sweet. Common concoctions makes this a lackluster spot.

New location near my parents house!! I've gone to the closes one every time I'm in Washington. My entire family is obsessed with this place. Wishing there was one near my home in AZ. I will always come here. Good for any time of day. Friendly staff and the selection is amazing. Try my favorite blended taro with lychee boba and lychee jelly

In Hawaii, I had my go-to boba place & I'm in the hunt for a new one since moving here. The boba itself was actually pretty good & very satisfying. I really liked the lychee bomb & how they put real f ruin in it. It actually hit all the right spots. The service that was provided was exceptional, she was very kind & quick. I liked how the inside has the neon signs and the ambiance was great. The flavors they had & the combos isn't something I've seen so often so kudos for that.

Delicious tasting blended teas and smoothies. New and clean Boba Tea place with mediocre customer service and undercooked boba. The flavor of my Honeydew was strong. Four stars because I've had softer Boba at other establishments. The Purple Galaxy was like every Taro smoothie it was flavorful and tasty.

Who doesn't love bubble tea? After a very filling meal me and my friends went to check out bobalust because we heard it was really tasty. I guess they have one in southcenter? But this new location opened up in federal way. Tried the signature slushie drinks and they were sooooooo good. The jelly's are super flavorful! I do want to say I got a jasmine milk tea at first with crystal boba and i kinda hated it lol. So I asked to switch my drink out and the workers let me change it at no cost! Super nice of them!

I really enjoy a good taro honey boba slushie and BobaLust delivers just that! This was my first time at this location, but I have been to another before and I am happy to report they share the same consistency with delicious drinks! This location is quite open and has two tables to sit at, so if you're lucky you might be able to find a seat. Otherwise the service from the cashier was nice and I got my drink pretty quickly, so all in all a really great experience

Stopped here after eating dinner in the area and was immediately surprised by how plain and uninviting it felt inside. The walls were grey and there wasn't much in the way of decoration, except for the neon sign that said "all you need is love and lust." There's a good mix of drinks on the menu, both teas and slushes, and I ordered a Sunburst. It took quite a while for my drink to be ready, and there weren't that many people ahead of me waiting. It looked like there were only two people working, so maybe it was a staffing issue? The drink was pretty in color, tasted overall ok but it was super sweet. I'm not sure if there's the option to modify the sweetness but if there was, it wasn't offered. I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to return here but if I was in the area again, I might try something else here.

Came in for the Yelp Elite event, fully confident I had RSVPd...and guess what? Your girl wasn't on the list -_- but guess what? Owner/manager was amazing enough to let me participate so that was super kind. It speaks volumes of the quality of the staff. I've had their drinks at this location before so I know the quality is good already. I got the purple galaxy with coffee lychee (Elite drink) and my husband got a tea drink with clear boba. The place was definitely packed at 9:30 PM so...come early y'all.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #117…read more We visited Onit Cafe on a rainy Saturday afternoon in June, hoping to score an after lunch boba. Sprinting through the downpour, as we hadn't expected the rain, we threw ourselves into this modern, yet industrial shop, where we saw a couple of people sitting inside like us to wait out the rain. We placed our order with the friendly bobarista and got our drink within a couple of minutes. Jasmine Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The milk tea has a heavy powdery creamer flavor, but it's not gritty or silty at all. Unfortunately it's so heavy that the drink tastes almost entirely like creamer with only a tiny bit of flowery finish. It's not the most pleasant flavor due to this quality. While the creamer is on the heavier end, the sweetness is not; at half sweet it's not too sweet. The boba is very good, super bouncy and chewy with basically the ideal texture. They aren't marinated that long so aren't quite that sweet or flavorful. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Onit Cafe is one of those rare places where I liked the boba far more than the drink. I don't visit Federal Way too often, but if I'm even down there again, I'd give it another shot to see if I can get a better drink next time. I've been to other OBC locations in Seattle and Woodinville…read more However, this location made me question their food safety practices. Firstly, the inside was clean and welcoming. There was one employee working, but it did not look very busy inside. We ordered 4 dubai chewy cookies, 1 taro croffle, 1 small galaxy ade, and 1 large taro/oreo smoothie. Our total came out to around $60. Dubai chewy cookies were very tasty, I am a huge fan of dubai chocolates. My galaxy ade tasted very watered down, barely any grape flavor, and little to none carbonation. The taro/oreo smoothie was decent. The basque cheescake was flavorful. The taro croffle was actually very good, better compared to the other locations. My main concern was the fact that I found some sort of hair in my croffle. We had already eaten some of the croffle and we brought it up to the employee. He told us it is a sugar strand and showed us an example. Yet, when I pulled the strand out of the croffle, it was more attached to the taro cream and it had no similar texture to the sugar strand. The sugar strand should melt and break easily but this strand did not, it was also more like a white-ish color. I'm thinking it was maybe a pet hair. The employee was very friendly about it and made us a new croffle free of charge.

The Earl Grey Cake was great. It had a great consistently for a cake and you could taste the Earl Grey. The Brown Sugar Matcha Milk Tea was not my favorite. It was not as sweet as I was expecting out of a brown sugar milk tea drink. You also couldn't really taste the matcha either. The tapioca in the milk tea was plain and not soaked in brown sugar like other cafes/bubble shops. The Yokurt Blue Ocean drink was refreshing! It was surprisingly really good. It made me consider ordering a second one. The customer service here was good. A very friendly environment with lots of drinks and treats to choose from to order!

It's the only one that has actual seating and tables, which makes it a much better location to relax in and slowly sip on drinks. We visited on the way down to Portland, hoping to get a caffeine pick-me-up before the long rush-hour fueled traffic on the way down. This location has two kiosks for easy ordering, although in less busy times, the bobaristas are happy to take orders and answer questions. Fragrant really condensed milk and extra cane sugar for sweetness. Slight fruit essence. regular ice on a hot day almost all gone within five minutes. About 3:1 ratio tea to milk Boba great soft yet really chewy and bouncy. Compresses soft layer on outside. Fragrant Oolong Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Regular Ice, House Milk w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($7.25) - As the name implies, this drink really is quite fragrant, with the somewhat fruity and floral taste that is similar to an osmanthus oolong. It's rich from the addition of condensed milk - in fact, this drink seems to have more dairy in it compared to most boba shops. Watching the bobarista assemble the drink, I saw perhaps a third of the cup filled with milk and condensed milk before adding the tea. I ordered the drink with regular ice and it wasn't nearly enough to survive the hot day - within 5 minutes of pulling out, all the ice was gone. The boba is great. It's soft yet really chewy and bouncy. There's a compressible soft layer right on top that's pleasing on the tongue. This was my first time at this location of Snowy Village, and it's been years since I've visited any of the others because IMO the quality has dropped off since the U District days. 1) We walked in and the smell was rancid. Smelled like bad milk, bad/sharp cheese, mixed with hot dairy and chemical cleaning products. So unpleasant we had to cover our noses with our shirts the entire time, and my sister even had to step outside to breathe. 2) There was only one employee working and drowning in orders when we came in at 9pm. Understandably close to closing time. Self-ordering kiosk was doing half the work. The employee didn't greet anyone walking in and only spoke to call out the names of the orders. 3) We finally got our order. Strawberry and Taro bingsoos with extra condensed milk, and a taiyaki trio. The taiyaki dough had unfortunately gone bad. We all tasted small pieces because we couldn't believe it, and it was true. It smelled okay, but the aftertaste was strongly bitter/sour and chemically. 4) I flagged down the employee to let them know that the dough had gone bad. He just said "ok do you want a refund?" I kindly said that would be appreciated, and he said "ok" grabbed the box, and went back to work. I was confused and had no idea if I was supposed to do anything next. Im used to refunds being processed on the spot and having to sometimes provide my card again. I waited a few minutes and flagged him down again to ask him if I needed to do anything, and without moving from the kitchen, he said no he'll find my order and I'll get the refund. 5) We poured the extra condensed milk all over our bingsoo, but then realized that there was hardened condensed milk at the bottom of the little cup that it came in. This only happens when the condensed milk is left out. When tasting it by itself, we realized the condensed milk was spoiled too :( I know working in understaffed environments is hard. Most likely, he was leaving things out because orders were back to back and he didn't have time. So I leave this review in hopes that management schedules more people, and improves their processes for food handling safety. Also, I'm disappointed to see so many business taking the humanity out of customer service. Self serve kiosks are replacing workers who can answer questions, provide recommendations, and represent the company in a warm way. Companies should invest in humanity again. As of now I don't see any refund for the taiyaki. I am hoping the whole order is refunded due to the condensed milk too. Order #24 on Wednesday 5/20 approximately 9PM.
