I feel that the people who say the fish they bought die once they get them home prob just are not that experienced or they have not maintained their tanks well leading to a lower PH so when you bring home new fish they die because most stores have a higher PH due to frequent water changes... The folks working here are full of knowledge and more than happy to offer advice. They take especially good care of their livestock, as if they were their own pets, so you know you're getting healthy fish. I drive almost half an hour to get here and it's worth it. We were looking for the place online to call and ask, and it turns out they are closed on Mondays. We got our fish on a Sunday. Then I checked their return policy and they only have a 24 hour return policy. No fish, no interest in going back. For everyone else: don't go on a Sunday if you are planning on buying fish.

I'd say this is the LFS for freshwater aquascapers with a huge supply of rocks, driftwood, and anything else you can think of for your hardscape. It has tons of immaculate tanks for your viewing/inspo pleasure from freshwater, saltwater, and paladariums. They also have some options for aquatic plants (more emersed than submerged) but I have been able to find the tissue culture packs and got some nice harder to find anubias and blyxa. Freshwater stock wise they have various nanofish/shrimp along with larger cichlids. On the saltwater side, they have a variety of fish, inverts, and corals. I've had the pleasure of working with Josh and he's very knowledgeable and also willing to help order some species if you're looking for anything in particular. I've also seen how they keep relationships with local hobbyists and they also run aquarium services. I think ambiance-wise, this feels closer to a viewing space than a LFS in some regards. There's ample space, you're really provided time to peruse, and there's almost as much display tank volume as selling volume.

I was overwhelmed with looking at all of the aquariums, paladariums, and terrariums that they have in the store in a good way. Everything is well taken care of including the fish. They have such an amazing amount and assortment of fish. Hip was so knowledgeable on all the fish that they had and even showed me some fish I've never seen before. I do like that with some of the scapes that they have you can actually just purchase them outright which I think is amazing especially for people who might not have the eye for a good design or the time to make their own scape. Then gave out pellets to feed the fish and turtles at tanks that were eye level to the kids. We then moved to the back of the place where they had two touch tanks available. If I'm being honest I don't think the fish should be in the touch tank (they were tiny and kids are rough), the crawfish was fine. Everything was walked thru in a loop. During lunch, two of the staff dressed up in fish costumes and greeted the kids. The place was very clean and displayed beautifully. I do have a tank at home and will definitely come back on my own time to explore more.
