Chris does such an amazing job! He's been taking care of my babies, and every time they come back they smell absolutely magnificent. He's also incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain how we can help their skin after our last groomer did an awful job and left them itchy. On top of that, he's easy to reach and quick to respond, which makes everything so much easier. If you want top quality care for your babies, go to PSP and ask for Chris. I won't go to another groomer ever again as long as he's there!

I used the dog wash area, it's very affordable and they'll clean it for you right before you use it. Sometimes you may have to wait for the dog wash, but it's OK. It's totally worth it. They supply shampoo and towels., Or you can bring your own. The staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

BURNED MY DOG! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO BE GROOMED HERE! I have been a loyal PSP shopper for the last 7+ years and I finally decided to try their grooming salon (on Nov 17) and that was a MAJOR mistake! The evening of getting my pup back we noticed something was wrong with his testicles. Sure enough there was (1st pic dated 11/17/25). I contacted PSP and spoke to the manager who said the general manager Randy would check the cameras and contact me. NO CONTACT made from Randy the next day. I had to call them and bug them to give me ANY info. Randy called me and left a voicemail stating he would be out of town for the weekend and wouldn't answer any calls. That's BS because as a GM over 5 stores and when a dog is injured there is NOTHING more important that than unless you have a family or medical emergency. 2nd-4th pics dated 11/20/25 shows an even worse looking photo. This was 3 days after the incident. I have submitted all these photos to this PSP location and I have made numerous calls with failed promises to be contacted in regards to this matter. I have since taken Stitch to the vet on 11/24/25 (last pic) with confirmation from a licensed professional vet that has stated it is a chemical burn from the groomer! I have begged for the OWNERS of this PSP location to contact me because I am trying to prevent any other dog and pet parent from having to go through this. I have yet to receive ANYTHING and I am now seeking legal action! read more

I stopped in here for dog food for the first time. I was so surprised how big the store was. They had tons of food. There was 2 young guys who helped me with getting some dog food. They were a lot cheaper than Petsmart & Petco!!! The also had a 20%!! Heck yeah! Dog food is getting expensive. I will definitely be back. I read someone else's review(different location) that they also have bath stations for you dogs for $10. That is cheaper than Petco. read more

History

Established in 1988.

Pet Supplies Plus was started in 1988 in Redford, Michigan. There are over 400 stores in more than 30 states, with more than half of them being individually owned and operated. The chain's founders, Harry Shallop and Jack Berry had a terrific idea. They wanted to bring supermarket-style convenience and value to the pet food and supply industry. By building stores in local neighborhoods with smaller footprints, Jack and Harry made it easier for our neighbors to shop.Over the years, their ideals have served us well. Which is why, as we look to grow in the future, we will continue to provide our neighbors with the easiest shopping experience to help them better care for their pets.

Instead, I walked into a pet store. Clean. Quiet. Organized. Well-stocked. While shopping I noticed the two spa options to my left, one self-service, the other professional grooming. In addition to literal spa services for your fur babies, the store offers a membership program where pet parents can save on grooming, store items, and more. Everyone was friendly and from the looks of it they have plenty return patrons so I'll certainly have to keep this place in mind the next time my pup decides his energy is best spent splashing in a mud puddle or digging a hole to another country through my yard.

We've been taking our German Shepherd, Crosby, to PetSuites Cypress for three years, but after…read morecountless inconsistencies, we can no longer trust them with her care. At first, we appreciated their services, but over time, the issues piled up: - Inadequate cameras in the play area that don't cover the full space, leaving us unsure of what really happens. - "Pawgress" reports included photos of other dogs, not Crosby, making us question if she was even getting the attention we paid for. - Fearful reactions--Crosby started shaking and whining at drop-off, which she never used to do. - Unfulfilled services: Multiple times, we paid for grooming (including Furmination) only for her to come home completely untouched, despite wearing a bandana like she'd been groomed. Staff apologized and promised refunds, but nothing changed. The final straw? After her last "grooming," Crosby came home filthy, stinking like creek water, and with thick layer of loose fur--proof she hadn't been brushed, let alone Furminated. When I complained, they offered a refund (still not received). It's heartbreaking to leave after three years, but PetSuites has repeatedly failed our trust. Crosby deserves better, and so do you. See the photo--this is how much fur came out after her supposed "groom." Unacceptable. Do better, PetSuites. Even then, we won't be back.

It took about an hour and a half for my dog to be ready. Perfect timing to get some errands run. I've never seen my dog's hair cut so short, he looked completely different but it will grow back. He asked if I wanted the same cut as his sibling but she was with another groomer and she's a different breed. Decent place, good communication.

I had no idea where to go since I'm not from here but I found Fuzzy Tails on Yelp. I reached out via Yelp and Andrea quickly gave a response telling me to text them at their number. I did and I was able to book an appointment for a week later via text. They did ask me to provide vaccination proof as well as a $35 deposit, all of which weren't unexpected. Upon arrival, everyone was friendly. They took my pup in without a hassle. They were very quick, about 90 minutes. I've actually never been to a groomer that got my pup done in under 2 hours so I was a bit concerned that it may not be well detailed. However once I picked him up, I was super happy with everything. He looked super cute and Fuzzy Tails gave exactly what I asked for! Overall, I 110% recommended this place for dog grooming. Again since I'm out of town, I likely won't be coming back anytime soon. But if I did live in Houston, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

She was able to handle our often unfriendly chihuahua without problem and we could tell she really cared for our animals. As a veterinarian, I have pretty high standards for animal care. Our pets are family and we are always nervous trusting a new person to take care of them when we can't be there. Jessica isn't the type of person to send a text or email each time she visits, but was happy to give updates when asked and responded promptly to messages. When we got back home, I found a stack of progress notes with sweet tidbits about the pets for each visit. We are so happy we found her and would recommend her 100%!

I have read her tweets, and read her great blog, and even purchased a toy she recommended for Angel that ended up being one of Angel's favorites! So, I decided to contact her and see if she was up for the task. I emailed her what I needed done, and she replied almost immediately with the answers to my questions! This was a great sign! Jessica requested that she come over and meet Angel to be sure Angel was comfortable with her, so we set a date a time. Jessica arrived promptly with a staff member and I could tell immediately she was passionate about her job. Angel and her got along great! We chatted about the details of when to feed etc, and I just knew Angel would be in good hands. When we returned from our trip, we were greeted by a happy dog! No nervousness or sickness like when she was at the kennels! On the counter we found notes that shared the things Jessica and Angel did during her visits...this was great!!! It was nice to know that Angel had a buddy while we were gone! If you are looking for someone who will come to your home while you are gone, and take care of your pets, I wholeheartedly recommend Wags and Whiskers for the job!!

Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I adopted a cat a couple of weeks ago from here, and I was very transparent with the fact that I have one at home already with anyone I spoke to. Not ONCE was I told that they DO NOT TEST FOR FiV or FeLV. Imagine my surprise and immediate worry when I email them during my new cat's vet appointment finding out these aren't standard tests. Not only that, but she is also showing a couple of signs of parasites, and has a paw with some sort of infection. This organization put my cat at home in danger because of all of this. I understand they may not have the money to test for two MAJOR diseases, but AT THE VERY LEAST they could have been transparent about it. I wish I could articulate better on how disappointed, upset, and angry I am. I can only hope my new cat isn't sick and my cat at home is well. I literally cannot believe this.

The selection is pretty good, franchise is limited as to what it can stock wrt accessories, but the brands there are good quality and will fill 90% of pet needs. Fromm likely the highest rated most nutritious richest dog food out there, Four-Star Salmon 5lb Amazon $34.89 what??? In item in store same bag $11.49, Blue Wilderness Dog Food, at least as good (some recipes) Adult Salmon Grain Free 4.5 Pounds $18.99 5lb Amazon, $11.49 in store. OKAY it is an example and I agree the high end food is a little more. But they have great high quality dog food selection for a more budget friendly, Their STORE BRAND REDFORD is a very good to excellent food comparable to most any brand. Pet Supplies Plus is extremely clean and tidy. Everything is so organized. If I cannot find the item I'm looking for the staff are always available to help and also there to help with any questions I may have. I think it was Colt or his name could have been Cody that helped me and was very professional and helpful. For the past 10 months we've had to go to the Katy or Jersey village location due to the cypress location never having anything in stock even when their website says it's in-stock. All other locations have all the same product in stock and the workers continue to rudely say it's a warehouse issue. Not to mention the employees (if you can find one) don't welcome you in anymore, are not nice and half the time talking with other employees or hiding in the back. read more

I really love this Franchise company. I mostly go to the Barker Cypress location but have been to 2 other stores out in Katy. Staff is always nice and friendly ready to help. The live animal selection is awesome. I have previously purchased a chinchilla, corn snake and bearded dragon. None of my pets had mites or another other problems. Will be buying more animals and products again. Strongly recommend this company. read more

Just had my grooming session with Ms. Ann today and let me tell you....as a cute puppy I really appreciated how I was treated. Ann made me feel special during my whole session.
