I broke down in the middle of Nevada, called Randy and based off my description he was able to pinpoint the problem and advise me of my best options. Definitely recommend Randy and nice folks at Auto Stop.

I immediately returned, but after a brief inspection I was told there was nothing wrong. When I left the shop, the warning alarm came on again. I called Auto Stop, explained that the warning had returned, and was again assured there was nothing wrong. I was told to wait and see if the alarm came on again after driving. Unfortunately, the problem persisted, and I could smell coolant burning on the hot engine. I made it home just before coolant began dripping from the vehicle. At that point, I had the van towed to another repair shop. The second shop found that the primary coolant hose from the reservoir to the engine had been installed incorrectly and was approximately 3/4 inch too short. They also discovered a second hose with a large bulge that was on the verge of rupturing. Both issues required immediate repair. What disappointed me most was not simply that mistakes were made, but that my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. After the warning alarm came on twice within minutes of leaving the shop, I expected a thorough inspection of the cooling system rather than reassurance that nothing was wrong. Because of the improper installation, I incurred more than $500 in additional repair costs, plus the cost of towing the vehicle to another shop. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Auto Stop. The quality of the installation, the lack of careful follow-up, and the poor customer service left me with significant additional expense and inconvenience.

While visiting Montana I needed to replace my tires. A dear friend Matt whose family is rooted in…read morethe Bozeman community and surrounding areas for generations, stated he has used Firestone for many years for various mechanical repairs, replacements and also tires. And he implicitly trusts the honesty and quality of workmanship. I am so grateful for his recommendation. Jon and Will are the highly skilled mechanics that I was fortunate to have working on my Chevrolet Traverse. Steve the manager chose the perfect tires! When driving 1200+ miles road trips, comfort matters! And the pricing for everything was Amazingly great! Thanks Jon, Will and Steve you made me a lifetime Firestone customer. I made it back safe with the smoothest quietest ride ever.

Last week, Steve confirmed he had Blizzak snow tires in stock, said he would reserve them, and scheduled my appointment. I verified in advance because I live 60 miles away. This morning I drove 110 miles round trip, took time off work, arrived on time, checked in, and the work order was correct. The lobby was empty. After over two hours, I was told: "We're sorry -- we don't have your snow tires. We must have sold them." Then they said they were pulling my car up. No call. No warning. No attempt to resolve the issue -- despite this being a safety-related tire replacement. I left and went to Les Schwab, where I had new snow tires installed immediately. I am now an ex-Firestone customer. This Bozeman location wasted my time and broke a clear inventory promise. Do not rely on Firestone's word if you're traveling any distance.
