Health Care Physicians and their staff have gotten out of control these days. Because patients…read morehave to go to certain providers many of them and their staffs treat their patients poorly. I left a practitioner becauae he and his staff were very unprofessional, had no bedside manner, and treated tgeir patients like a pay check instead of a person. Im glad I did and found Dr Mozzie. At first I thought I was in tge wrong place because they mostly treat diabetes and weight control. But I was immediately impressed by his staff they were polite and friendly and seemed to actually care. They werent pushy or rude but kind and patient. Even with a slight computer problem Dr. Mozzie kept his composure and just talked to me while we waited for the problem to get fixed. Usually doctors will leave you in the room to stare at four walls until it gets fixed. I was most impressed because he actually listened to my description of the psin and instead of jumping to a conclusion he said lets run some tests. Ive had lower back pain for 15 years no one has ever suggested to run an MRI and do blood work. Ive heard several things from different doctors that came up with what they think I may have but no one ever said lets take a deep look and really find out. After our session his staff came back in and took blood work....which was great that they could do that and not have to refer you somewhere else. Overall probably the best Dr appt Ive had in a very long time. If you dont like your current provider you should look into coming to Dr Mozzie. It is well worth the time.

This office was recommended to me by a friend and I liked that it's a pretty short drive from our…read morehome. We've had three appointments thus far, and they average out to three stars. Appointment 1 - we were seen before scheduled appointment time. Appointment 2 - we weren't seen until 45 minutes past scheduled appointment time, with no apology or explanation for the wait. Appointment 3 - we were seen within 10 minutes of appointment time. The entrance to the office is somewhat confusing to find, as there is a group of buildings (all pointing different directions) with not much signage and parking on either side (imagine a half circle with the buildings in the middle and parking on two opposite sides) and the office entrance is actually facing the inside of the compound so it took a few minutes to locate. The actual office entryway/check-in desk is very cramped (barely enough room to walk in with a carseat--forget about someone trying to get in while you're standing there) and the waiting room feels cramped as well, though it's just on the small side (~10 seats). It looks a bit worn and outdated but it felt and looked clean enough. The staff is nice enough--not the best I've experienced but not the worst, either. It's definitely more "homey" feeling than the clinics at the Naval Hospital...and it's not as advanced, either. I was a bit surprised at the scale they used to weigh my newborn...at the Naval Hospital, it was a fancy digital scale that automatically took three separate readings and averaged them. At this office? An old fashioned medical weight scale (where you slide the weights across the bars to get it balanced). Well, that's fine for bigger kids and adults...but a newborn? The nurses and doctor seem to enjoy what they're doing and interacted well with my baby. I never felt rushed, but then we were only there for well-baby checks. Everyone was nice. That said, we're changing offices because they don't do immunizations for Tricare, and my whole reasoning for going to an in-town doctor was to avoid having to drive on-base all the time. Also, they seemed to imply that no town doctors could do immunizations (or maybe I misunderstood, but they certainly assured me THEY couldn't do them) somid have to go on base. Well, whatever the case, I did find a pediatrician's office that does immunizations, so I'm not exactly sure why Martin's doesn't do them. So, if you have babies and Tricare insurance, I'd probably not go here just for the inconvenience factor. But for other insurance or older kids who don't need the frequent vaccines, this place would be fine.

RE: KARMA WILLIAMS, PA and BREANNA, JOHNSTON PAIN STAFF My…read morepickup at the pharmacy went sideways this weekend, In the midst of the usual chaos of a Monday, I attempted to reach out to my provider at JOHNSTON PAIN MANAGEMENT due to an issue with my script at CVS in Hampstead. After numerous calls and messages, sweet BREANNA picked up the phone at 2 PM and just owned the whole situation! She made contact promptly with KARMA and I have no doubt that between the two of these professional and personable women, I'll have my meds today. Please thank both Breanna and Karma for me! With Breanna, her patience, willingness to help, and reassurance helped to calm me and I feel confident that the dilemma is resolved! I'm so grateful for Karma and staff members like Breanna who understand how frustrating these situations can be for the patient. Her attention to the details of the situation kept me from having to repeat the whole scenario over and over and she just took it forward, assuring me that everything would be resolved and that she'd call me back promptly, I felt complete relief after a stressful morning. With Karma, I always feel that I am the only patient at the practice, she makes you feel that special! I've been with her for roughly 10 years and the undivided attention that she shows me during my visits are such a blessing to me. While this world is spinning at breakneck speed, Karma truly listens to every word I have to say and I know that she truly cares for me and all of her other patients, Mondays are just heavy days but thankfully, these two beautiful souls have taken away my stress regarding receiving my overdue meds. 11/20/25 I've been a patient at JPM in Jacksonville,NC for…read moreapprox a yr.Yesterday I had ablations done to my lower back by Dr.Erin Cheney & her team.Dr.Cheney is & has been,through the procedures she's performed on me,not only extremely professional,confident & knowledgeable in doing the procedure itself,but her ability to multi-task before,during & post procedure with such an upbeat,friendly & personable bedside manner makes me feel truly confident,at ease & valued as a person!I also asked her for a possible answer/solution to a recent & debilitating condition in my shoulder.We discussed it,she LISTENED INTENTLY & before I was to the front desk had an appt to move fwd with what I think(& it seems she agreed)is at the crux of the issue.Dr.Cheney represents to me,what other Dr's,especially in Pain Mgmt,should aspire to be. Instead of calling me and dealing with it like a manager should , they had the OT call me. Of course he is much more professional so the conversation went very well. Sad he had to stop treating and make a phone call for 2 cowards not wanting to deal with it. End result , I asked OT to discharge me from the practice. The OT-Ali is best OT I have experienced. Would highly recommend his service. As for management in the therapy clinic , it needs a change. Michael and Wendy avoid complaints.
