They came out to estimate replacing my sister's hot water heater. Not only did the try to sell her several things she did not need, they turned up her water pressure to make it look like she needed a new pressure valve. The one she had was almost new! The final estimate was $3850! We got another plumber who did everything for $950. I can NOT recommend them! read more

This must be Way to much for them because 3 days later the ac dies and visually Had bad parts. And problem with the drain lines. Worst service call ever. We called for them small commercial job, they cant even perform that. Lol they told me to hire company to make custom water heater for 2 laundry machines. They do not know what to do. They don't know what they are doing. They might be Ok with residential but COMMERCIAL NO WAY. not sure that anyone at on-time will read this review. i have an on-time customer for 3-5 years, paying the annual memebership few [$279] plus the one service calls, plus repairs and installations. my "donations" to on-time have amounted to almost $5,000. usually a return to repair that which they had supposedly "fixed," after one costly fix [$4,000], they send me a dozen donuts. as well as a few dollars off [$10] on the next call --they knew it would come after the "repair." what a scheme and i am to blame for beliving their bull-s- - t" better to throw your money down the sewer -- at least you would have to pay for a god-forsaken service. be aware - once a trusting homeowner! jay smith read more

The overflow on my water tank was leaking. The plumber replaced the T&P valve and the expansion tank to the tune of $466.00. The next day I had a leak from a different place. The plumber returned and informed me the plastic drain needed replacing for another $241.00. He readily admitted he had caused the drain to leak during the previous repair because he had to "touch it" and it was plastic and old and friable. It wasn't leaking before he "touched it." I feel he should have forewarned me of this possibility. In the meantime he has informed me my best option is to replace the tank at a cost of between $2,104 and $2,569 depending on which warranty I select. Really, shame on you. read more

I called to get a quote on changing out my light switches and plugs. My switches and plugs are cream colored and I already bought the switches/plugs in a white, I just needed them installed. However, when I called they could not give me a quote over the phone and told me a technician needed to come by. They gave me a window between 8pm-6pm for the technician to come by and then said they were going to charge me $69 just for him to come by and give me a quote! That's ridiculous. I would never use this company again. They caused such a nightmare, and cost me a lot of money and time. They partially installed a new HVAC system, and said they would finish up the installation within a week. After six weeks of them failing to come back or call and not returning my calls, I found out they didn't even install an air filter, insulate the lines, or install a flow switch in the drip pan among other things, and that they used mismatched parts with an efficiency rating well below my previous unit and installed the least efficient unit on the market. There was oil or something leaking into the drip pan and had already started to corrode the pan. They installed a 2021 unit. Other HVAC companies said the installed system was only working at about 70% efficiency, meaning 30 cents on every dollar was literally going out the window, that 6 weeks w/o a filter was bound to cause future maintenance issues. One company would not even work on their partial install because it was so bad. Their service manager then proceeds to make a bunch of excuses and basically insinuate that I'm being a Karen because I want it done right. Fact is, I probably would have let them fix their mess, but the texts I got from their service manager just made me mad. Their install of my HVAC was so bad that I had On Time tear out their 2 month old system and hired Norrell to reinstall a new system. Thank God I that I hadn't paid them yet. I would suggest you pick ANY OTHER HVAC COMPANY! I'm not an expert, and this review is my opinion only of what they did, based upon some internet research and the opinion of other HVAC guys. read more

I recently had someone plumbing issues and called On-Time Service. Their Google reviews were good and they were able to come out sooner than anyone else. BIG MISTAKE. I needed my water pressure regulator replaced. The original quote was $1200!!! I told the technician there was no way I could afford that. He immediately dropped the price down to around $800. Not knowing any better and having no knowledge about cost of parts I agreed to pay it. I had an uneasy feeling about it after and contacted a local plumber for a quote. He quoted me at around $300. I have also spoken with a few other people who have had their regulators replaced recently and they all paid around $300 as well.This company will completely screw you if you don't know any better. They are indeed on time and do you have an estimate before performing work, however require a $79 beginning fee to enter your home for the inspection. The electrician was professional, clean, and courteous but did not leave a list of his repairs and did not explain the warranty of the product or service before leaving. They are professional and On-Time but I think their charges are exorbitant. First you pay them to come and then the quotes for jobs are much higher than the market price. The plumber was ready with a $1500 solution for every $15 problem we had. The electrician charged $600 for a job that took him literally 10 minutes to accomplish (replacing the outlets). read more

On time service gave me an estimate for 2 simple jobs. 1. Replace rubber seals at bottom of toilet fill tank. 2. Repair or replace defective stopper drain seal in tub. Estimate a whopping $659, which they promptly reduced to $559 after I said their estimate was excessive. I did not use "On Time Service" for this work. The next day I got another plumber who did both jobs for $145 within 45 minutes. In local tv add the owner of "On Time Service" tells us he is running a christian business. Well his brand of Christianity would have cost me $500 more than I needed to pay. Christ lifted the standard of Christian conduct beyond the 10 commandments, but even the old testament law says "Thou Shalt Not Steal". We Christians all stumble and fall, but when we are habitually harming our neighbor, we are called on to repent. This owner needs to repent of stealing from his customers many of whom, like me, are on a fixed income. I recommend avoiding On Time Service unless you do not mind being fleeced. read more

These people are way overpriced. First you pay them just to come out, then they come out and tell you how much. The guy gave us one price then changed his mind later and said no, it's another price - twice as much. $470 to run one 4' wire for a 10 minute job. I guess he couldn't make any more money off us so he just jacked up the price for this wire and tried to take advantage of us senior citizens. Rediculous! Save your money and frustration. I was advised that my air conditioner contactor and capacitor both needed to be replaced. The quote was $147 for each part--in addition to the $59 service fee--for a total of $353. Both parts can be purchased for around $40-60. I declined, paying only the service fee; frankly, I'd like a refund for that. There was nothing wrong with the capacitor, and the contactor could have been repaired easily enough (though I'm choosing to replace it since it's inexpensive). In addition, they were supposed to perform the service the previous day. I called around 2:30 p.m., and I was assured that I was the next appointment; no one ever called back, and no one ever came. The following day, they claimed to have called me three times and ultimately cancelled the appointment. There were no missed calls on my cell phone or office phone, and there were no messages. I have used OnTime twice. Ironically, in both cases I needed the same thing, a new outdoor outlet installed. I will say that the technicians they sent on both calls, were very professional and easy to work with. On both calls, they clearly identified all costs and requested approval before beginning any work. The first call ended successfully, and I was happy with the work and the price. Second call not so much. The price was borderline ridiculous. I get that it was a different circumstance, but the cost was just under $1000 for an outlet. When an outlet blew when plugging in a vacuum and decided to cut out power to two bedrooms, I knew I had to call On-Time electric. The circuit was not tripped, signally a more complex problem needing immediate attention. Dennis from On-Time Electric arrived just under 3 hours after contacting the company and was I fortunate! He's a total professional with a super nice personality to boot. He went the extra mile by examining several related outlets and several junctures in my attic that were not done to code.
