It was more affordable than I had thought, and we did the first treatment that day. She educated me on each step, always described what she was doing and why, and repeatedly checked in on my comfort (which was fine - slight stinging, but I kind of liked that - it told me it was working!). I'm sure they have…read moreother strengths but based on my experience as well my daughter's experience in the last few months, they have missed or mis-diagnosed skin cancer and/or pre-skin cancer on 2 out of 2 people for 2 out of 2 visits. That's flat out scary. We both went for 2nd opinions and both of those appointments revealed the fact that spots Cara Mia missed or mis-diagnosed were cancer or pre-cancer as well as some spots Cara Mia wanted to biopsy, were nothing to worry about, for both of us. And on top of that, within minutes of the start of the exam, the Cara Mia started freezing off 7 spots that who knows if they were pre-cancer or not. It felt like there was a lot of up-selling happening but I can't be positive, just my hunch. But most importantly to miss skin cancer is just dangerous on their part.

A few weeks later, I get a text message saying there was an outstanding balance from this appointment. I called multiple times to clear up this bill as I had already paid for my aesthetic treatment. I was told that because Erin wrote me a prescription, it was considered an office visit charge. The least she could have done was say I was going to be charged an office visit but she never did and the office could have called me back. They also didn't say anything when I paid at the front desk at the end of my appointment. Looks like I'm stuck with paying this bill for a service I didn't ask for!
