I needed a late night coffee shop as I waited for some friends from out of town and I stumbled upon this one. It was a little out of the way in terms of the normal hustle and bustle of Castle Rock as it's not near the outlets or Main Street, but I'm actually really glad that I did stop by because this space is so beautifully decorated and has such a welcoming feel that it made the drive worth it. Because I had been on the road for a while, I did have to use the restroom when I first arrived and I'm happy to say they were extremely clean and they had a changing table. They're definitely welcoming to littles as I did see a few kids under five so thank you for considering families. They have a very large menu that's contains coffee and coffee based beverages as well as some Italia sodas and some energy infused Red Bull drinks, smoothies and non coffee drinks. I asked the barista for a recommendation and she told me to try the maple bar, which was a white mocha with maple and I'm happy to say it is fantastic. I would order it again. They do offer sweets and savory treats. I just ended with a cake pop but would be interested in trying other items. The price of the coffee was about $13 including tip, my drink, and a cake pop. I think it's reasonable for the area and for what I received. They have a drive-through so if you are in a rush in the morning, it would be a very easy stop and they have a lot of seating space for people to work and converse. They also have these really cute swing chairs that I enjoyed. They have a rooftop bar and ample outside patio seating however it was really windy the day that I came so I stayed on the main floor. The only thing that would make the space better is if they had some sort of couch or relaxed seating. I was looking for something a little cozier than metal chairs I would recommend this place as a cute date, meet up spot, a place to hang with friends, or a place to work. Atmosphere: I went to Oo-de-Lally during their Christmas menu, and it was absolutely adorable! The shop is so girly and festive. With a really cute nativity scene, Whoville decorations, and even a Grinch animatronic. The first floor is especially charming with swinging chairs and cozy little tables. It's the perfect spot to relax with a latte or hot cocoa. Oh and they play catchy Christian music too! Crowd & Service: When I arrived, it was a little crowded, but the service was super quick, and people were in and out fast. Everyone who worked there was phenomenal. Everyone was really attentive and helpful. The staff explained all the non-dairy and gluten-free options and even shared their favorite drinks and customer favorites. Drinks & Price: I got a Grinch latte with a slice of lemon pound cake. My total came to $17.71, which is in line with current coffee shop prices. You're usually spending at least $20 for a latte and a snack these days. Everything I tried was delicious and I loved how creative and fun their themed menus are. Extras:Oo-de-Lally also has a drive-thru, which is great if you're in a rush but still want to grab a fun, festive drink. Overall Experience: Overall, my visit was fantastic! First time checking in but I've been here 3 or 4 times. My DIL enjoys the coffee here but I am less than thrilled. I've only been through the drive thru and not inside but she says it is IG worthy. I'm not on IG. On this particular day I ordered an Oregon Chai with almond milk, hot. It was warm and didn't taste like the Oregon Chai I actually drank while visiting Portland. DIL ordered a chocolate cake pop for the three year old. He stared at it, took a miniscule bite, and handed it back to her. Looking at the menu while in drive thru, I spotted coffee cake and decided to order. Hmmm, it came wrapped in a plastic bag and not in the we made it this morning and stored it in this cute plastic bag for you type of plastic bag. I ate half of it. When we got home I tossed the chai and the other half of the cake. Maybe next time if I'm tagging along for coffee I'll just stick to an Americano. You can't mess that up...or can you? read more

Our family stopped in to sample the New Valentine's Day menu. My son enjoyed the seasonal iced coffee flight. And while a flight is pricey he enjoyed all the flavors and left nothing behind! This was a great cafe, I really wish they were closer! Today they released their Valentine's Day menu. I love holiday and fun menus. It makes the dining experience just that, an experience. I decided on the chocolate lava cake drink, and the Cadbury chocolate covered strawberries. The drink was very chocolate and espresso forward. It tasted pretty much just like dark chocolate and espresso. It was a little bitter. While it was yummy, maybe a little bit of regular milk would've lightened it up a bit and it would've been perfect. Still a solid drink, though. Made the drive to this coffee shop after seeing hype on social. I think part of the hype must be because there's not much around and the community wants to support this business. However, the oat latte was bitter and my chai was watered down and both were overpriced compared to other places we frequent. There aren't really food choices and the waitstaff was less than friendly. They should take lessons to make their guests feel welcome. The interior was cutely decorated but not cozy. Wish there was different seating options especially because the wait was on the longer side and we could hear conversations of our neighboring tables while drinking our coffee by the windows. My Snickers latte made for such scrumptious sipping, I can't wait to go back and try more of their seasonal sugar-free drink concoctions! The ambience is warm and inviting, while the decor is tastefully inspiring and uplifting, given the message of Jesus's love sprinkled throughout the space like confetti. Really enjoyed the cozy outdoor space with a fire pit located upstairs as well, the views are serene. The servers were as sweet as the drinks handed to us, and it made my heart twinge hearing the young girls who worked there sing along with the Christian song playing overhead, as they swept the floors while wearing a smile. Okay I am gonna say it. I am bougie and like over the top aesthetics and that is not always easily found around here. Yes! A super cute Cafes with girly vibes is my jam. From the moment you step up towards the entrance it is tons of floral designs and a cute phone book. Inside they have cute swing chairs but there is a drive thru if needed. The menu has a lot of options which could be great for different preferences. Service was friendly and helpful when I asked for a latte suggestion. I got the s'more latte which as advised it was a little on the sweet side but it is tasty. Warning, this place gets a bit packed on Saturdays it seems but a place I can't wait to come back to. There is outdoor upstairs patio sitting and a drive through. I can't resist an iced pistachio latte (summer special) but the flavor was mild and not pistachio reminiscent at all. This place was too cute!! The girls working were very nice & it was so festive for the holiday (Valentine's.) The swinging bench seats were very whimsical as was the full menu. They have sandwiches, sweet treats with multiple different flavors & specialty coffee drinks. This place is an absolute must stop for anyone passing through or up for a little adventure. The upper deck area will be perfect for summer coffee trips!! And the marketing is spectacular. Everything is on the sweeter side, but with a place that looks this sweet I would expect nothing else. As soon as you walk in, it's like being in a cute little winter wonderland! So cozy and cute. I love how they have a seasonal selection of different coffees you can order. They also offer coffee flights?! Amazing. I haven't tried this myself but would love to eventually! As far as pricing goes, it's pretty expensive. It is nice to support local businesses though, so I'm happy to buy a cup of coffee from here maybe 2x a month. This place gets very crowded, but they do offer outdoor seating upstairs on the patio! They don't turn on the heat lamps or fire pit until early evening which is a bummer because there are days where it's packed but it's too cold to stick around and hang out upstairs. Cute but subpar drinks. Ordered a black tea and a simple latte. Latte was of poor quality and the Earl Grey was a plastic tea bag. It's fairly common knowledge that plastics in hot water are terrible for you due to the microplastics. I'd also appreciate the ask if I wanted a mug versus a to-go cup. Our toddler was with us and she enjoyed the swing and decor, which to be fair seems to be the crowd draw. To respond to the business owners comment. I promise you that this was a plastic tea bag. We stopped here for our morning coffee and it was a cool Christmas ambiance! Unfortunately service wasn't great, when we walked in nobody acknowledged us for a good 5 minutes even though we were the only ones in the shop. We ordered and waited for our drinks to go. Visited this coffee shop for the first time during the holiday season and it was decorated so cute that I can see why the place was standing room only even though it is large for a coffee shop. The tables with swing seats were original and fun and for those wishing to escape to a quieter section there is a patio upstairs with killer views of Piked Peak. Of course it was a bit chilly to sit outside when we visited. Coffee drinks were original and done perfectly, not too sugary which is a plus in my book. I had the churro latte which is a white chocolate brown sugar cinnamon latte. I was a little concerned that it might be too sweet but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't and the flavor was spot on.
