4/5 stars because our granddaughters would have liked their hot chocolate to be a bit warmer. I appreciate that it wasn't too hot for them to drink but it was a cool morning so they wanted to warm their hands up with a warm cup. Walking downtown to see all the pretty Christmas decorations and thought we'd stop in for a warm drink. The young server took our order, we paid, and left the restaurant. Happy that there is a great coffee shop close to downtown and shopping. I ordered an Americano with room for cream which was about $4 and the girls each ordered Hot Chocolate. They asked for a sweet treat but on this day we didn't get one because we would be having brunch in less than an hour. read more

Glad to see a Dazbog in SE Denver. It was my first time and the baristas were super quick and friendly. It was super cold out, so I got a gingerbread chai. It's extremely delicious, the chai tastes super delicious. My boyfriend got the Eggnog latte and it's delicious as well. We will be back when we're in the area. read more

This place has a decent location but seems to nearly always be closed when I want to come by. Maybe I just want coffee at weird times. Internet says 6a to 6p but I really don't think that's true. If I happen to luck out and it is open the coffee is good, the service is fast and friendly, and the place is very cleanly. read more

A great location! This Dazbog is right by a park and major walkway in town down Castle Rock, a perfect place to get your coffee and watch your kids play or walk your dogs at the same time. There's plenty of seating inside but also outdoor seating and shaded areas nearby as well. The baristas were kinda and efficient. We will return for sure. Bonus: pup cups! read more

I've never visited a Dazbog coffee shop before but I stopped by when on Wilcox St as it was the closest coffee shop to me. It was very nice! I got a very large iced vanilla oat milk latte which was honestly better than Starbucks. I also got a cranberry orange muffin which they toasted for me which was nice. I unfortunately did not like it that much. It was just fine I guess Everyone was very welcoming and the vibe was casual. Tons of locals in there too. The baristas were super nice and friendly. After finding way too many places closed on a cold Monday morning, we were happy to stumble upon a Dazbog Coffee. I grabbed an Americano and my husband tried their Valentine's Day white chocolate strawberry rose mocha. I've always loved Dazbog coffee, although they're a bit pricey. To the person who said they have gluten free burritos, well apparently they don't and haven't for a while. Disappointing. They did have Outrageous bread, for which we were grateful. Friendly staff and quick service. Wish they'd turn down the air conditioning though! Brrrrrrr! read more

Okay there are so many choices in CR but I love Dazbog! The convenience of it being right next to festival park is great! Their breads and muffins are so delicious and the white mocha chai is my favorite! Above all, the customer service is so great ever. Single. Time. I love the smiling faces when I walk in! That's so hard to find now! The only thing I do have to say is that I wish they would spruce up the interior, it does look a bit run down but other than that I'll be here every week! read more

Grabbed a large ice mocha half sweet with 2% milk. Was well made and helped beat the heat! Service was quick and pleasant. They have a few different chiller options and non caffeine options as well - like a beet latte. Also have a matcha latte which looked pretty tempting. read more

Great place to start your day! Dazbog has great coffee and many other beverages to choose from. If you're wanting a pastry to go with your morning coffee I recommend the cranberry orange sweet bread. Tastes like an "orange creamsicle." They're situated on a display near the register. They also offer other sweet bread options. Besides these tasty options, they also have a bakery case with other pastries. Also, Dazbog has great nitro cold coffee in a can. They sell them here and at King Soopers. This Dazbog is a nice location. It's right near the downtown area. I stopped here this morning after an appointment. Perfect place to grab a coffee and do some admin things on my mobile before starting my workday. Staff is very friendly. The young lady who took my order was sweet and had a smile on her face. They have a fireplace at this location for those colder days and nights. Can't wait to hang here when the weather gets cold. Also, they have public restrooms as well. Cleanliness is average. Noisy! - this place echoes. The girl calls out a name that the order is ready. But if you're not standing right there you can't hear them. The tables are wobbly. I tried several and they're all wobbly. Obviously management knows about this because some of the tables had folded up napkins under one leg of the table. The food was terrible. I had a spicy sausage burrito. $5.50 and it was cold and the flour tortilla it was wrapped in was tough and stale. I took it back to the counter to have it warmed up. The young lady apologized and said their microwave wasn't working properly. it warmed up a little. The cold coffee fruit drink I had was good. The staff was very friendly and nice. But they had to do a lot of apologizing for the bad conditions. read more

I'm currently visiting from California and stopped here to get my fix. Cool vibe and a very clean cafe! Great customer assistance! Lots of seating to relax, chill and space out on an electronic device! I ordered a Cafe Au Lait which is hard to mess up.. It was so hot, I had to pour it over ice. My friends enjoyed what ever they ordered. We sat inside and enjoyed our caffeinated drinks! I did notice a fireplace in back with several place to sit and chill. read more

My place to go in Castle Rock when I want a coffee drink, and a nice place for a meet up. Small and cozy, with stellar service and excellent coffee (sorry they who shall not be named, your roasts are burnt not turnt) Dazbog gets it just right. A laid back place to savor a flavor, and maybe get some work done or just meet up with a friend. You've got numerous options and a nice selection of light bites, veggie options included. Castle Rock has other coffee options, but this is my local go-to and I'm glad to have it for lots of reasons. read more

Super delicious! Stopped by on a Sunday morning and my coffee was made fast and with friendly service. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it's the best coffee drink I've had in a very long time. I was so impressed I asked my husband to try it (he DOES NOT like coffee, at all) he took a sip and said it was the best coffee drink that I've ever gotten. Went there in the morning and it took about 20 minutes to get 2 coffees and a frappe. (There was only one person ahead of us). There were a ton of flies inside. My wife got a pumpkin spice latte and I got a dark roast coffee, they both tasted BURNT. My kids cold drink had huge chunks of ice in it. Never returning. Service was slow, coffee was gross and the swarm of flies inside were a huge turnoff. read more

Disgusting, overpriced mush breakfast burritos came from the freezer to the microwave. Most of the burrito was tortilla and it was too hot to touch until I realized the center was still frozen. And every table is wobbly. read more

I am no coffee connoisseur by any means but one Saturday I woke up craving one of those iced caramel coffees I see online all the time. I live across the street from Dazbog, But I decided I was going to try a brand new coffee place. (Try to support all local businesses) Long story short, I was not impressed with this new coffee shop. They did not have any breakfast items to choose from and they weren't able to make my coffee the way I had explained it. I still purchased the coffee and went on my way. I decided to go into Dazbog to grab some breakfast and honestly I felt very guilty walking in with a coffee from somewhere else for obvious reasons. I explained to the girls what had happened as I was purchasing my breakfast and both of the girls were so nice and laughing along with me and as one gal was ringing me up, the other gal placed a side of the topping (cold foam) which I was trying to get from the other place in front of me to put in my coffee! That was beyond nice and when I put it in my coffee and tasted it I said, "SEE! That's what I wanted!" Thank you for your kindness girls! I'll be in for one of those yummy coffees soon!! read more

I wish I could just review the owners and their lack of care and concern for the venue and the staff. It's not unusual for the grinder to be broken. The espresso machine needs retirement, and that's according to the repairman nearly two years ago. The lighting has bulbs out. There's rips in the seating. Rumor has it that there's code violations throughout the physical plant. Air conditioning is sporadic at best. The staff are great. Welcoming, outgoing and upbeat. Still, they're constantly understaffed. Coffee is also excellent. I wonder why corporate would allow this store to represent them. If I was DazBog, I'd be taking this franchise back. read more

I wasn't sure Castle Rock needed another coffee shop, given that there's already so many of that OTHER chain. You know the one I'm talking about. The one everyone hates but still goes to all the time anyway. I stand corrected, Daz Bog sets itself apart from you-know-who. While they may be part of a franchise, you can tell they are independantly owned and those owners really care about quality. The service is always incredibly friendly, the staff makes helpful suggestions, and the drinks are made fast and are always fantastic. The location is always clean & comfortable. Daz Bog just moved in to our little burg about 2 weeks ago. With their grand opening on a Saturday with rain and wind the likes of which we haven't seen in years, they did GREAT! The coffee is FABULOUS! Rich and fresh and hot and delicious. Seth and Beth (The Seth and Beth show!) are the owners of the shop and are friendly, helpful and funny. The store itself is bright, and comfortable. Two desks for computer folks to get their work done, lots of comfortable seating, big bright windows. I haven't tried the food, but they have a nice selection of pre-packaged goodies to take on the run. Love this new addition to our neighborhood and can't wait to spend some more time there! read more

A great place, with comfortable over-stuffed chairs, for meeting business associates for a brew (coffee, that is) and solving some of the world's problems ... or consummating that business deal that has been perking for months. (Pun intended) There may be plenty of coffee shops in Castle Rock, some say too many, but this is among the top three .. and that is saying something. One day I walked in and the whole place is different. All the old staff is gone. The old staff was so kind and made great coffee. But now the coffee is disgusting. It tastes like burnt liquid from box coffee you'd get at Walmart. I ordered some food and the guy said "do you want salsa" I said "no" and he said "fine." Seriously? And the barista is brand new every time you walk in. Since it took 15 minutes to make a small latte and no one was in front of me I'm pretty sure he remade is a few times. Lol and then it turned out to be a cappuccino. Basically there isn't a good coffee shop in Castle Rock, for me at least. Lost coffee is under-roasted, Starbucks is corporate and Cookies and Crema can't find themselves. read more

Daz bog is the most amazing coffee shop in Castle Rock by far. I hated coffee until I started going to Daz bog. the service is great and coffee is even better. I always order the zebra chiller, which isn't even on the menu and it's the most amazing drink in the world. they even have gluten free options, which is perfect for someone like me. in my opinion way better than Starbucks. read more

Best espresso I've ever had...I used to frequent Starbucks but once I compared the two espressos via an iced Americano instead of a Latte, I realized what a difference good espresso makes. Now I'm addicted to this place and come here several times a week. Great atmosphere too--very mellow but happy. Love to work from this location. I recently took a coworker an iced Americano from Dazbog and she is an avid Starbucks drinker...said she was shocked at how smooth and "not bitter" the drink was, even with no milk. She normally drinks lattes but said if the coffee is this good, she could avoid the extra calories of the milk. One last thing that is important to note: they use Monin syrups which as a general rule have less artificial flavors and preservatives. Once you go Dazbog, you'll never go back!
