We tan into Oola Bowls while at the Lancaster Central Market. We LOVE bowls like this! My daughter had to get one. So we ordered the Oola Bowl. The berries were fresh, and sliced to the perfect size. The ingredients seems fresh. You can get the bowl to go as well. This bowl had peanut butter which was an added bonus. I do not know why we never thought about adding peanut butter to our bowl. The service was quick and they were so nice!

I love oola bowls! As someone who is allergic to nuts, acai bowls can be hard for me. However, oola bowls has a custom bowl option which is perfect for allergens like me! The acai/pitay base is also frozen perfectly and is so tasty and refreshing. I wish I could go rn. The employees are also very good with allergies :)

So delicious and fresh. The texture of the açaí is the best I've had! I love their signature bowl, called the Oola bowl!

went here for the first time with my grandma. i love these style of bowls, but it was her first time. it was so good! everything was fresh. inside was clean and modern looking. young man at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful! explained what everything was to my grandma. we both enjoyed our bowls. definitely will be back again!

Staff and owners are so nice. If you bring your own reusable bowl sometimes they give you a discount. The Açaí Berry Oola bowl is a purplish smoothie/sorbet like dish. It is topped with tons of exciting goodies: granola, honey, coconut, Bananas, peanut butter, strawberries and blueberries. Vegan friendly. The best for me is the regular oola bowl, but you can customize. My friend gets PB and Nutella on hers. I'm obsessed and have gotten all of my friends hooked! Everyone who I've gotten to try it, loved it. Even my 13 year old nephew is on board. This is a much healthier sweet treat for summer! Skip the artery clogging ice cream and enjoy something so good there's always a line at market. Now they have opened a location on Fruitville at Lancaster Marketplace and it's so easy to grab one of these beauties Wednesday through Saturday. Central Market is open Tues, Friday, and Saturday. It never fails I crave this on Monday or Sunday!!! ‍

First time trying açaí. A close friend, who is an açaí expert pointed me toward Oola Bowls as the best in the area. I had a small Oola bowl minus coconut. I loved it! Something sort of peanut butter and jelly about it in a really nice way. The team at the market stand was so nice and excited for me. Since I was taking it to go they even asked if I wanted to see it before they put the lid on. So glad they did because it was beautiful and I got a nice picture. Looking forward to hitting up the Fruitville location soon!

With two…read morefood truck options--burgers (always a solid standby) or Middle Eastern fusion--we decided to go for the more adventurous choice. Best decision of the day. Even with the huge crowd, Traveling J's was running like a well-oiled machine. Two people--just a chef and a cashier--were absolutely cranking out orders while still keeping the line moving fast. Impressive! We narrowed our choices down to two items to split - Gourmet Grilled Cheese + Garlic Cilantro Fries (upgrade) and Hummus with carrots & cucumbers. Add two cold drinks and our total came to $28.62. Not bad considering the generous portions. When we opened our to-go boxes, we were seriously impressed. The hummus was smooth and creamy, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with spices. The fries were crispy (not soggy!) with just the right kick of garlic and cilantro. And the grilled cheese? Perfectly toasted, melty, and stuffed with sweet, crispy bacon. Cheese was oozing, bread was golden, and it was everything a grilled cheese should be--and then some. The portions were more than enough for two hungry adults, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I even made sure to compliment the chef--he looked like he'd been hustling nonstop to keep up with the crowd, and it showed in the quality. Next time, I've got my eye on their fried Halloumi cheese. It looked AMAZING coming out of that truck. Bottom line: Fresh, flavorful, filling, and run by a hardworking duo who know what they're doing. Traveling J's is officially on my "must-eat-again" list.

Me being the procrastinator that I am, I didn't leave work early enough, so I had to rush to get to…read morework on time. This means I didn't pack a lunch and I had to find something fast. My uncle used to be a resident in the Lancaster area, so I went to a place called Prince of Subs, which is known for their chicken wings and, of course, their subs--that's why it's in their name! When I arrived at Prince of Subs it was 11:30 PM at night and I asked for an order of 6 wings, but the guy said, "Let me check." I was surprised because it's a bar and they close at 1:30 in the morning, and of course, greasy food is the best thing to eat when you're drinking. Well, luckily they had six wings left. I asked for some fries and he said they ran out of fries. Me personally, I love some wings and fries. Can't forget about fish and chips, but that's more of a Dublin thing! I don't understand how a chicken spot bar that closes at 1:30 AM doesn't have fries ready, but that's just a story for another day. Because of that, I had to go to a second spot on my way to work. It was a food truck on the side of the road. It had lights so you could still see it, but it was kind of hidden. Come to find out, it's a hidden gem! I got some Dominican loaded fries which had shredded chicken, a bunch of different sauces, some peppers, and of course, fries. I was glad that I made this stop, but I pulled out my cash and I only had a $100 bill on me because it was Friday, it was payday, and I had cashed my check. The guy didn't have change, and so all I had was nine dollars in my pocket besides that one bill. I told him I would come back tomorrow evening. He had a surprised look on his face, but I said, "I work right down the road and I promise you I'll be back before I start work." He trusted me. I gave him my nine dollars and he said okay and gave me my food. As I walked away, it gave me a little bit more faith in humanity. It's amazing how someone that never even knew me, and never saw me before, actually trusted me to come back and give them cash to pay for my food. I did go there the next day and it was a warm welcome, of course. I paid him what I owed him with a little bit extra, only because he had faith in me coming back. I highly recommend this place! Being a truck driver, you always find good food spots along the road, and sometimes you find out if the food is really good or bad while you're going down the road, if you catch my drift. This place is very good; the food settled very well and I definitely give it a hard 4.5 out of 5, only because you cannot see the truck from the road. I hope my review helps you make your decision onto whether you want to eat at this location or not. I hope a college student sees this review as well, because it is right around the corner from Thaddeus Stevens! Branden-Lee AKA B L E E

The Dominican burger, as it's called, was just enough to whet my appetite ( no sides needed ), and I wouldn't ask the chef to change a thing. The ratio of bread to meat to sauce was properly balanced. I appreciate that he used thinly shredded red onions and lettuce in the sauce. Muy muy bueno! I have to admit that I was bugging out a little when I realized that the food truck is diagonal to the Lancaster County prison. I wasn't aware of that beforehand because I wasn't familiar with the area, and I didn't think about making a preorder for pickup. I was just trying to find some highly rated ethnic food on Yelp and just happened to stumble upon this listing. I was out there waiting for my food at 11pm for like 20 minutes. I wasn't scared or threatened... it was just a tad weird. the whole time I sat out in the park across the street from the cart I kept looking over my shoulder. The neighborhood Papi's were out there in full effect getting their late night grub. I also wished that the prices were listed on the menu. Someone posted a picture of the menu 4 years ago and chimis costed $5 each back then, but I paid $10 per Chimi. That's a helluva markup over a short span of time. On the bright side they do take cards unlike some other food trucks.
