We had a great experience at UNA. It is a cute spot without being too formal. It was warm and…read moreclassic in the best way possible. Our server Kamryn was amazing. She was kind, thoughtful, speedy and friendly. The best server we have had in a long time. A great menu. It pretty basic Italian, appetizers, pizza, and pasta with a good wine menu. We decided to start with Whipped Ricotta with brioche bread, which was rich and delightful. My kiddo went with the Spaghettini Bolognese. I had the mini margarita pizza, and my husband went with the four meat. The food came out quickly and all of it was delicious. My kiddo ate up happily all of her spaghettini. I enjoyed my pizza and my husband had no complaints with his. We liked the whipped ricotta so much, we ordered a second one to take home. If you are in the south side and is craving Italian try this out!

The pizzas were so good, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Tiki, one of the best! I ordered a bottle of wine that wasn't on the menu but it was not bad at all. If you're not in the mood for wine the dinner will be under &60 for two with two appies. The Fired Mazerella was perfect. The service was great and it wasn't too busy on Thursday night although the restaurant itself felt a bit small.

Lovely little sandwich spot in South Edmonton Common. This place is bright and looks very clean…read more Decent amount of tables for two and the larger one closest to the doors. I had ordered a wrap instead of a sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff was lovely to accommodate me by removing some items off the predesigned list for the wrap due to diet restrictions. The wrap itself was burrito sized, so be prepared for leftovers if you're only slightly hungry. The cookie I had was massive and soft! Honestly with the bubbly, cookie and wrap it was a full sized meal for supper (for me). The extra Yelp bag of goodies was definitely an added YES surprise! Thank you to Vilma & Earl of Sandwich for such a lovely summer treat.

There was lots of hype surrounding this place when it first opened. I was a bit skeptical about how…read moregood these hot sandwiches actually were. Surprisingly they were quite delightful and aren't too expensive. I went around 12:30pm on a Wednesday and it was quite busy. The line went by quick. I tried the Holiday Turkey and my partner tried their Original 1762. The Holiday Turkey literally tasted like a holiday turkey in stuffing within cranberry sauce. I was pretty satisfied with how spot on the taste was and it made me feel like I was eating a Christmas meal. My partner enjoyed his Original 1762 roast beef sandwich. Both sandwiches were flavourful and warm. They give you an option to choose between whole wheat and white bread. We got the combo so it came with soup and a soft drink as well. They gave us an empty cup for the soft drinks and it was self serve at the counter. The chicken noodle soup was well made also. Overall I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't. The sandwiches were filling and worth the value.

Went to Hanjan South with the family. It was quite busy but it was expected for a Sunday evening…read more The food was good as always but we found that service a bit off - we waited for one last chair which took 3 times of asking before it was provided. We've also almost ate all the meat before rice was provided. Regardless, the food was still good. Ordered fried chicken, spicy pork belly, corn cheese and more and they all tasted great. Ambiance was same as usual. Clean and same with the washrooms

My friend and I came here for dinner before going to a show. I was looking at restaurants along our…read moreroute and Hanjan seemed like a great option. We dined on a Friday around 6pm. The space inside was nice and much bigger than it looked outside. There were a few diners when we got there, but still plenty of seating. We were seated, given the menus, and water (including a jug for the table, which I appreciated). The server told us that when we're ready to order to press the button on the side of the table. I love when restaurants do that. I ordered the Hanip to drink, which is a seasonal tea beverage, a non alcoholic type cocktail. I got the Japchae, which is a bowl of Japchae (glass noodles), beef bulgogi, spinach, carrots, onions with a shitake soy dressing. My friend got a coke and the Donkas, a breaded pork cutlet with a cabbage slaw. It also came with ketchup and bbq sauce on the side. Our food came out very fast; I don't think we waited more than 8 minutes, but our drinks hadn't arrived and the server said they'd be on the way. With our meals they brought out a small side of vegetables that included kimchi, bean spouts, radish (may have been daikon) with this delicious sauce, and mashed potatoes, plus a side of steamed rice. I'm not sure if the veggies and rice were for my meal or my friend's or for the table, but we both enjoyed it. I really liked the radish dish. Our meals were also delicious. My friend's pork cutlet was massive and she said it was really good. I loved the Japchae, it was savoury and comforting. I had been debating about ordering one of the full vegetable dishes like the eggplant or cucumber salad, but the serving sizes are decent and I wasn't hungry. The downside was they forgot about our drinks. I kept waiting and finally partway through our meal I pressed the button and asked about our drinks, and they had completely forgotten. The server (a different one from before) apologized. My friend's coke came out right after that and my drink took a few minutes to make. I do understand things get missed (I've worked in restaurants before), but it also wasn't very busy. So I can't give Hanjan 5-stars because of this but it was still a really meal. Both my friend and I said we'd go back again.
