    Mini lobster rolls
    Violet P.

The food was not great but the service was worse. I made a reservation for a birthday dinner, and when we arrived, I provided my name and the hostess showed up to our table. Except, she walked us to a booth-type seating and walked away without saying. We had a table for 8 and the booth couldn't seat that many. I looked around for another staff to ask where our table was and was shown to a row of tables that had backless seating. We waited for our server to arrive and were provided with menus. She finally arrived and took our order. I ordered the lobster rolls after trying them at Taste of Edmonton. The rolls were good, but the fries were cold and hard. The garlic fingers were just ok, and not something I would order again. They had some specials that day, including garlic fingers, but the bill didn't reflect the discounted price. This is not a place to have a conversation as the music tends to be loud. Lobster rolls won't be enough to bring me back here.

The haddock was delicious with a crispy batter. Fries were tasty and well seasoned. Could have had a bigger portion of haddock in the fish taco that was our only con. Service was one of the best and food came out in a timely fashion.

    Tacos during the Hali-hour! $4/taco

Came for dinner and it was about 20 min or so before the Hali-hour specials started. No worries though since most of our party ordered the mini lobster rolls! I waited until 9pm and then ordered my 3 tacos for $4. :) Excellent portion size!

Great food and restaurant. Took the family out for dinner and I had the donair and the rest of the family had the fish and chips. Everything tasted great and the service was good as well. One of the kids spilt water all over the table and a server promptly gave us extra napkins. Would go again

Went for an early dinner before the movie. We didn't have a reservation but there were some tables that were reserved for 7 and they said as long as we got out before then we could sit there. We had no problem with that as our movie was at 6:30. So we were seated fairly quickly. The place wasn't super full but it was busy. This was a lot better of an atmosphere for my personal liking when compared to their Whyte Ave location. It's obviously more spacious and as such it didn't feel like we were jammed up against another table (not that we were at the other location). The server was very friendly and came and visited us enough that it didn't feel like we were ignored but also not too much that we were bothered by her stopping by. She refreshed our drinks a few times, offered some suggestions as some members of our party didn't really know what they wanted. Overall she delivered great service. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. The rest of the servers in the area and the host's booth at the front also had very friendly vibes about them. We ordered some fish tacos as it was still happy hour and they were larger than I had expected (they weren't stuffed too full but enough that it felt like a good appetizer/snack - pictures not included for this, too hungry forgot to take pictures). I ended up getting the Atlantic seafood chowder bowl with the ultimate upgrade. It was a good chowder but not necessarily worth the upgrade in my opinion. It seemed like the upgrade didn't add much aside from a "garlic bread" and some bacon bits and a mussel or two. I don't knock the dish it just didn't feel much like an ultimate upgrade worth $8. The bread was very soft and good for dipping if that's your jam. My wife got the fish and chips with an upgrade from chips (fries) to poutine. The curds were good, the gravy was hot but on the salty side, so much so that we didn't end up finishing it. The fish really hit the spot for what my wife was craving. All in all I would still give this a 5 star review because the small things here and there didn't really detract from the food and atmosphere that we experienced. Mind you this was early on a Saturday night so it wasn't too crazy. By the time we left just after 6:15 it was starting to fill. Just keep that in mind as your results may vary.

Came here for a girls evening out with friends. It was very busy when we came but thankfully we got a table very quickly. The server was good at first but then disappeared for a long long time when we wanted our bill to go home. The food here is really delicious. I had the mussels and they were so so good!! I also had a beer to go with the mussels and it paired perfectly. I would definitely come back to this spot again as their menu is really fantastic and lots of fun things to explore on the menu. Oh and don't forget to try their donair Cesar's!! They have a full stick of donair meat on a skewer in the cesar and it's so delicious. The donair meat here is crispy so it's a little different than your average but it's so so good!

Want some really great food? Go to Blowers & Grafton! I had the fish & chips meal and hubby who doesn't like fish, had pizza. I have attached photos, the fish is beer battered and it's light batter, so crispy but not heavy or greasy. Also, the size of fish you get is truly FISH with a bit of batter, not the usual heavy hard batter that you have to scrape off. Great portions! Hubby loved his pizza, could not finish it all in one sitting. The fries were a bit on the salty side, but they were so good I couldn't help eating them, so addictive. The tartar sauce is homemade, and whatever is in it, omg - so good. Atmosphere wise, it's got the music and noise, and I would have given this place 5 stars but the service, while efficient - was pretty cold and distant until 'tip time' which I always hate when servers do. Give it a try! :)

I loved this place. The food was fantastic, the service was on point and the overall atmosphere was fun and relaxed. I spent a great evening there with close friends enjoying the great food and service. The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. I loved the Doner Kabob. it was the best I've had outside of Germany. We shared our food and everything I tried was excellent. Great spot and I'll be back next time I'm in town.

The staff are friendly, the food quick and the flavours unique and palette popping! I recommend a little of the Chili flake oil as they are keeping the hot real low key for Canuck tongues.

I ordered the feature of the week; pulled pork asado rice bowl with slaw. The half size was served in a square take out container for $8 but there was lots of food. The pork was tender and the sauce gave it flavour but wasn't drenched in it. Some of the sauce soaked into the rice but I liked it that way. The coleslaw was delicious and light on the dressing and I really enjoyed the cranberries. If I worked closer, I would visit more frequently. But if I'm in the area, I will be back.

These franks are huge and juicy, and you can pile on as many toppings as you want. I had the regular jumbo dog, while my boyfriend opted for the jumbo chili cheese dog. The bacon and cheese dog sounded really good, but that's just asking for a heart attack! As big as they are, I was surprised that I wasn't full in the end, just like a normal hot dog. I liked that the woman working there asked me if I wanted fried onions before she piled them on my hot dog, since I have a strict aversion to onions. They had pickles, peppers, cream corn, anchovies, and raw onions for toppings. After covering my hot dog with ketchup and sweet onion mustard, I loaded pickles on top. Hey, don't knock it til you've tried it. Pickles on hot dogs taste awesome! This location is basically a food stand outside, and they have few bar-stools off to the side where you can sit. The first time I tried Attila The HUNgary (I can't even write the name without smiling, so funny,…read moreso creative) was live on the air at 7am on CTV Morning Live. Levi had made their signature burger which is a portobello mushroom infused patty with strawberry sriracha jam and thai peanut butter... My eye's lit up, my mouth watered and my brain was like "WTF? This is aaaamazing!" Seriously best burger ever! Loved it! And at a time of day I'm normally not out of bed let alone munching down on a huge messy burger on live television! So after that, you could say I was hooked! After that first encounter I found the HUNgry truck parked at the Taste Of Edmonton... All week of Taste I had heard rumours about these amazing duck breast tater tots. Finally on the last day of Taste I was able to get over and try them. Yup, they are ridiculous good! I usually try to share this with someone because I find the servings quite generous. The taters are so warm and crispy - so yummy! My friend ordered a Peacemaker burger that was made up of Hunburger patty, strawberry siracha jelly, Thai peanut butter, peanuts and brioche.
