And I have to say, I'm sad I missed all that time exploring this gorgeous shop! Their selection includes a variety of stones at different price points, sizes, shapes, etc. Some are cut into cylinders and spheres, pyramids, skulls, hearts, etc while others are left in their original shape, though their edges are smoothed from polishing. They carry jewelry pieces with stones incorporated as well as a variety loose stones for making your own. Since then I've also started following some rock tumbling folks on IG (very satisfying, tho I had no idea the process took so long!) and it's been fun looking for some of the polished stones I see in their videos in person in the store. I have a new appreciation for the process and I've even considered picking up some of their unpolished/raw stones and giving it a try myself (though I don't know if I need anymore hobbies!). They also carry fossils, a few different mediums of artwork including works by local artists, plus stationery, prints, journals, tape, decorative water bottles, etc. Plenty of options whether you're giving a gift or getting a lil' treat for yourself!

The prices are competitive with local chain groceries stores and I love to support this friendly, small family owned business. They are open daily from 9am- 5pm and closed on Tuesdays from Mid July through Halloween. Today I bought some beautiful pumpkins and plan on returning later this week to get some mums for my fall decorations. Honey Bee Farms was there today giving away samples and educating people about local raw honey. A small business supporting another! As someone who has been supporting Irma's for over a decade, I highly recommend you check them out.

It reminded me of Bronners Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth but on a smaller scale. A separate area next to the main shop had lots of Christmas trees and an area for children to meet Santa Clause with proper social distancing and a barrier in place. I recommend visiting Sherwood Forest during Christmas if you are looking for holiday decorations.
