Our yearly trek for apples begins here every year. This year we got empire, cortland, and jonagored apples. I also bought some snow sweet apples since they looked good. $8 half a peck. $16 for a full. It's worth it! We Love this place because of the lack of commercialism because this is a family affair. A wonderful no-frills orchard that is perfect given the current situation. The only attraction was the orchard. You go in, pick apples, pay, and leave. There were no lines or crowds, no admission or parking fees, and the apples were $16/peck - cheaper than what many other orchards nearby charge. Most people were wearing masks and socially distanced, so there seemed to be very minimal risk of catching or spreading anything. The quality and selection of apples are similar to what you'd get at other orchards that charge more. Recommended for those looking to just pick apples without all the extra "festive" stuff that tend to go along with the activity. read more

With the Autumnal Season upon us, my wife and I planned a visit to one of our favorite orchards in Wisconsin this weekend. Upon doing a little internet research, my wife came across a place offering Granny Smith apples. That place was Lang's Orchard. We LOVE this place and have a new FAVORITE place to pick apples. Very friendly and the frills are limited to the joy of being in a natural setting, within an Apple orchard, picking delicious fruit with your own hands. No need for a corn maze when you're offering a gorgeous variety of apples and at an affordable price. Freshed picked Braeburn apples on Saturday made for delicious Apple pancakes Sunday morning. I would highly recommend this place and hope they stay in business for many years to come. read more

What a gem and breath of fresh air! My family has always gone to large orchards, where we end up spending a hundred bucks on doughnuts and kiddie rides/activities and parking. At this small family-owned orchard, it's about the apples. Plain and simple. Easy to walk through orchard with kids, and they provide wagons. Port-a-potty is the nicest and cleanest I have ever used and close for kids. There is a cute little shop with a few seasonal items, plus homemade jams. Apples were so good-especially the snow sweet variety. My kids couldnt get enough of those. I had never heard of them before! It was a beautiful day in the country, and the staff very friendly. I felt refreshed after being there ( not exhausted like other orchards made me feel). If you want to really pick apples, this is the place to go. read more

A cute, family-owned apple orchard without the corniness of wagon rides, corn mazes or goat bridges. No admission fee, great apple selection, and a barn with nice ladies and a variety of jams, apple butter and salsas. There weren't any apple cider donuts or apple cider, but we didn't mind. This is a wonderful place for apple-picking purists who want to support family-owned businesses. They had radio flyer wagons for those picking a larger quantity of apples. We had a great day today at Lang's! This is an old time family owned orchard without any of the added pizazz - just good old fashioned apple picking. Prices were better than many other orchards we looked into, and there were plenty of different types of apples to choose from. We will definitely be going again next year! read more

Great place to go- it was our first time here & we'll be back next year! Free admission and parking (and stroller-friendly). You get to decide how many apples you'd like to purchased, as opposed to other orchards who include it in admission pricing. No big crowds, which the kids and us both liked. Our family of four drove out to Lang's Orchard for apple picking today. We were concerned about the crowds on this sunny autumn Sunday and did our best to arrive early. To our surprise, we were the only ones there! The owners greeted us outside, gave us some large apple bags and a wagon, and off we went. It was a great experience. Although it wasn't the biggest orchard, there were a variety of apple trees, and tons of spotless apples. (There were plenty of diseased apples too, but we learned that this is to be expected in rainy years.) No games, no animals, no lines, no entry fees. Just apple trees and a barn with jams and some prepacked bags of apples for those who prefer to leave the picking to others. A few other carloads arrived later in the morning, but it still felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our 10 year old learned about growing apples from the owner, and our 3 year old was so pleased with the whole experience that he rewarded the owner with two hand-picked apples. Thanks Langs! read more
