I definitely don't recommend this place. I went there to get my a/c fixed because my regular…read moremechanic does not have the Freon machine to do a/c. On my first visit, the owner tried to force my hood shut with the stick up, damaging my hood. He said he'd buy a new hood and took accountability for his mistake, which I was fine with, accidents happen. I tried to make an appointment and was unable to. I showed up and wasn't able to get it fixed. I was ok with it, because I wasn't in the biggest hurry to have it fixed. A little time goes on and my car has another issue, my regular mechanic is out of town. I call Kar Klinic because I figured I could give them some business while they still owed me a new hood. Maybe they could even fix the hood at the time. Kar Klinic assessed my car and said it was the alternator. They quoted me an outrageously high price, more then double what any other mechanic would charge me, and I told the owner I'd call him back. I had already researched the price, I called a hand full of other mechanics, and definitely confirmed he was trying to overcharge me, likely for the food he damaged and needed to replace too. I told the owner that my car would be picked up by a tow truck. When the tow truck got to my house, the new hood had been passively aggressively shoved in the back of my car. The tow truck guy said that the shop seemed shady, and that they claimed I wouldn't come and get the hood put on. They had my car all day and could've put it on but didn't. I showed up at times they said they'd put it on, and it wasn't put on. It's a couple months since I went to get Freon in my a/c, and the owner definitely did not put much in. My car is hot again, only a couple months later. Last time I had it filled at a different shop, it was cold for years. Not only did I not get what I paid for, I got a signed up hood, and the new one they shoved in the back of the car was all messed up when they sent it too. There are a bunch of bubbles in the hood and scratches in the hood. Going to this shop is costing me way more money then it would have if I never went. I now need to pay another shop to fill my a/c with Freon, paint a hood for the car, and possibly buff scratches out of it. Save some money and go somewhere else. Oh, I almost forgot that it wasn't even the alternator that was the problem when I took my car back there even though I replaced the alternator. It ended up being the starter, which I changed myself. These people weren't capable of properly assessing the issue going on with the car, wasting even more money.
