Dr. Pham failed to address any of my concerns and told me that I should just expect my vision to be poor, even with my glasses, despite the fact that I have been wearing glasses for nearly 2 decades and have never once had that be the case before. My left eye has always been worse than my right, but my glasses have always been able to correct them to be as close to equal clarity as possible. Dr. Pham simply told me that I should just expect my left eye to be worse, even with glasses. I was repeatedly told my glasses were not the problem, my eyes were, and that the fact that I believe I could see more clearly before was just my perception and not reality. I was snapped at throughout the appointment for not answering his questions in the exact words he wanted, and for not answering him quickly enough. I was then offhandedly issued a rather serious diagnosis that was not addressed any further. I don't trust this diagnosis and will be seeking a second opinion elsewhere, as such a diagnosis would be present from birth and yet none of the other doctors I have seen ever mentioned what would be an obvious anomaly. Instead of listening to my concerns, he condescendingly explained a diagram of the eye to me, which I did not need. I work in a lab and the quality of my vision is vital to my work. This was not taken remotely seriously during my visit. I was not provided with notes about my visit or an after visit summary upon checking out, only a prescription that I will be having rechecked by someone else.

We were there forever, and left with his $900 quote ... and that was with a 50% discount and no blue light. Other employees were dealing with a customer unhappy with a quote they would not honor. Ageism is rampant at this location and we've been loyal customers for a decade. We walked away, and won't ever be back. We will tell our friends to stay away from this Firewheel location.

The doc was rude, unprofessional, and unwelcoming, an absolute grotesque bedside manner. The so-called eye exam, if you want to call it that, lasted less than 2 minutes and in that time, he pushed my daughters' shoulders back 2x and he was completely dismissive of her responses. When i asked if my daughter needed new glasses/new prescription his response was condescending. He never gave a straight answer as to whether or not she needed a new pair of glasses. He never introduced himself nor did he ask my daughter's name. When I mentioned that my daughters school nurse informed me that my daughter failed her schools eye exam, his response was "well where is the paperwork to back that up, I will sign it". He appeared to be agitated that he was even having to give an eye exam. The worst part of this experience for my daughter was that he put his hands on my daughter shoulders and pushed her back. My daughter is Autistic and has a sensory processing disorder, so she was very uncomfortable being touched like that. What kind of eye doctor touches their patients that way, it was unsettling. Again, the whole 2min exam was an awful experience and grotesque. Please do not use this office, if you want stellar service please look elsewhere. If I could rate this as a -100 i would. I am looking into reporting him medically for touching my daughter in that creepy way!

I get allergies every other year. It was pretty bad during allergy season last year and at the…read moretime, I was referred to Dr. Tim Wright for the inflammation under my eyes. Well I kind of put it off till now just due to scheduling conflicts on my end. My company sent me overseas a couple of times and I just didn't get around to handling this. I finally went to see the doc today. Pulling up to the practice, it looked like an abandoned lot to be honest. Well that might be a stretch but just to give sort of a contrast from outside view to inside. I was telling the front office person that I had to circle around the place a couple times to make sure I got the location right. Well needless to say, I was surprised when I walked in. Completely different atmosphere. Ambiance was reminiscent of another medical practice I've visited in the past. I was right on time for my first-time appointment. I was kind of surprised as I didn't have to fill out any forms or anything. Of course I wasn't coming in for an eye examination or anything like that but to be honest.. this was interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if they contacted me later to fill out forms but regardless, just wanted to bring that up. I didn't wait long at all. I was shown straight to a room. Waited for a bit so I entertained myself by reading the last line of the eye chart inside the room multiple times. Dr. Wright came in and was very engaging and easy to talk to. He went into depth the causes of why my eyes were inflamed and was very patient with explaining anything that I needed explaining. I didn't feel rushed at all. He gave me the most ideal and practical treatment which I would've asked for had he not suggested it so I'm very glad that he covered the bases before I had to ask. This lets me know hey.. if I ever come in for a check-up of a different sort.. I can trust and be rest assured that the diagnosis and treatment he offers would be the most ideal for me. Staff was nice and courteous too.

He was helpful in answering all of my questions and supplying me with the necessary eye drops to keep the disease in check. Two years ago, I moved to Rowlett and the drive became a bit much and I requested that he suggest another doctor in the Rowlett/Rockwall area that I could visit to continue my glaucoma treatments. At the same time, I discovered that my insurance company quit approving the medication that I needed to help me continue. Dr Deloach offered to petition and fight the insurance company for the medication that I need, so I will continue to make the drive for such amazing support. The entire staff at Plano Eye is friendly and courteous, the office is kept in clean and top notch condition and the glasses/frames area where you pick out your frames is abundant and easy to navigate. I will continue my relationship with the Plano Eye staff for as long as I need an eye doctor.
